Going to Chiang Rai for a night from a small village to watch World Cup final in a fun atmosphere. Booked through Agoda for $20 CAD, couldn't be happier. Clean, modern, quiet, good sized room, light breakfast included. Short walk to night bazaar for good food and live entertainment, then Jetyod road bars for pre game drinks before settling in at a random establishment for kick off. My only complaint the entire night was that France won.
➜ Hotel located right next to the bus station (although a bit difficult to find at the beginning).
Very comfortable interior, breakfast correct (corn flakes, milk, orange juice, toastable buns, Strawberry Jam, salted butter, coffee, chocolate, bananas and oranges).

We found mold in the bathroom and asked for a change of room. First we were told that we would have to wait the next day then (after the shower with the terror of catching a fungus) when we also saw spiders in the room and only at the second complain they changed it immediately (what a hold for The bottoms). In the second room there was dust and crap accumulated in the sink and shower drain and as if that were not enough here are other spiders. At the time of the refund (I would say due) they still charged us the whole first night after two hours of quarrel because according to them we used the room… Run! This place needs either to close or change management. WHAT SCHIFO, WHAT SCORTESIA
