Every time I come to Chiang Mai I stay here. Reason is the friendly, helpful staff, a nice garden and swimming pool, which is cleaned daily and is located in a nice, quiet Soi (lane), only 20 minute walk to the Night Bazaar. There is an all-night food market 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

If you are on a small budget then Wiriya House is the place for you. Wiriya House is situated in a quiet area of Chiang Mai, 15 minutes by car from Chiang Mai international airport and 5 minutes by foot from Chiang Mai Gate and the Saturday night market. The rooms have AC, cable TV, a fridge and the towels and sheets are changed every day. There is a private swimming pool and a garden area where you can sun bathe or just sit and relax. Within walking distance there are several local Thai restaurants and a couple of very nice coffee shops. The owner and her staff are all very friendly and helpful.
