Nice hotel and very friendly staff.

Not very comfortable old and stayed something to forget when you love comfort the pool is heavily chlorinated room reservation does not work afterwards 1000 excuses.

A quaint hotel close to That Gate but in a quiet back street, large footprint nestled on a quiet lane with a good sized pool, large rooms (Chinese style rooms on the upper floors are the best). Freindly staff and close to the old city. Excellent massage school close by.

I have stayed here some times and like this place a lot. Nice and familiar hotel and a helpful staff. Quite close to the night market.

The hotel is located near city center, which is very convenient. The pool is great. Grounds are well maintained, however, en suite bathrooms could use some maintenance. Breakfast buffet offers good selection and food is tasty. The staff is always nice. The local travel agent offers great selection of tours and activities. The internet is very fast.

Cozy, nice pool, the staff was nice but communication was hard as their English wasn't particularly good, the food wasn't very good, and the Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, only in the lobby.

An oasis in the Centre of Chiang Mai. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms in a pleasant atmosphere. At any time again.

Nice accommodations! Showers were large, walk-in showers. Beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of international TV channels in many languages. Sadly, Wi-Fi was not available in our room — — the Wi-Fi evidently is broadcast from the front desk, and our room was one of the most distant. The Wi-Fi is easily accessible otherwise, however, and the connection was great. As with all toilets in Thailand, toilet paper cannot be flushed down — — only human waste. Unlike a fancier hotel I stayed at, Karinthip Village provides sanitary bags to put toilet paper in before disposing of it in the trash. They do provide toilet paper. Like all Thai toilets I have seen, they provide a bidet. Bottled water is complimentary, but the other drinks in the mini-fridge are for sale. Breakfasts were great! Typically they served a Thai soup, fried eggs, chicken and pork sausage, yogurt, and bread. They rotated in fried noodles, fried rice, steamed rice, French fries, and potato wedges on different days. Beverages included water, milk, guava juice, and coffee. A friend stayed with us, so we added an extra bed for 600 baht at check-in. Adding people after check-in costs extra. Very charming courtyard. There is a Buddhist shrine or two on the grounds, if that's your thing. A mild and pleasant incense is lit outside each occupied rooms' door at night to deter insects such as mosquitos. The pool was very inviting, and the pool chairs were great and shaded by large umbrellas.
