A truly pleasant stay. Perfectly clean. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Very strategically l8vated near night markets and the city yet still quiet and peaceful. All the facilities you need and amazing coffee cafe with an amazing night view of the Iron Bridge. I guarantee you'll stay again. Kap Kun Karp.

But (addendum) laundry service: Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars because I have chosen such an expensive service (60 baht instead of anywhere 30-40 baht) and would have expected you to bring my socks clean. — Wrong thought. Result of a 60 baht/kg of laundry see the pictures.

You can't ask for a more convenient location, especially if you're staying in CM without a vehicle of your own. Very near the Night Market, Rimping, and a variety of restaurants including The Duke's. Also very near plenty of songthaews and tuktuks. Plus, the staff is friendly, competent, and dedicated (they speak English as well). The rooms are clean and pretty well equipped/furnished. Prices are very reasonable, and a decent breakfast is included.

I would recomend Riverside House to anyone staying in Chiangmai. It is clean, the staff are excellent, transportation is easily gotten just out front, the free breakfast is great, it is quite at night, the staff speaks very good English, and will help you with your tours. Great restaurants are in walking distance (Western and Thai), The pool is clean, and laundry service is avaliable with prompt one day service. I had a team of 14 that stayed here and it seemed that the more people the staff had to serve the harder they worked to satisfy. Any one bringing a team to Chiangmai would be served graciously here.

Reasonable price and wonderful staff. They offer friendly greetings and are happy to help organize hours and transportation. The front lobby is open 24 hours and it is very comforting knowing that the lights will be on and someone will be waiting for you even late at night. The courtyard atmosphere is wonderful and very green. It is next to a busy road and if you are staying in the front new building there is a lot of noise. If you stay in the back building it is very quiet but the room are quite a bit older. Convenient location of you want to be close to the night market and lots of restaurants. It's about a 10 minute walk.

Comfortable Guest House and very friendly staff. The rooms on the ground floor smell a little sewer, there's probably a drain nearby. The water, shower is not very hot but tacklable. Staff more than helpful: The tour guide I had booked didn't mention arriving and the girl at the front desk personally called the agency to give us information about the delay.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. They helped us so much and gave us ideas of where to go. They also wrote out allergy info in Thai for me to show shops what I could and couldn't eat. They also prepared allergy friendly food for breakfast for me :)

Rooms are top, atmosphere and location are great, however the breakfast is very small and the selection very sparse.

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Our had a view of the small pool which we unfortunately did not test as too cool. The hotel is located on the other side of the iron bridge, about a 10-minute walk from Chiang Mai's famous night market, a must-have dinner. Very convenient laundry service. Good tips for activities in the area. Supers typically Thai massages at 2 min. Excellent smoothies just across the bridge.

Really great place. Great breakfast in the morning. The staff are so helpful and genuinely friendly. The only down side was as I was lying by the pool a rat ran past and was down at the bin. I left the pool area because it freaked me out but it's kind of understandable because your close to the river. I would definitely stay again though. Would definitely recommend.

Decent place to stay in Chiang Mai. Close to the Night Market and maybe 5-10 minute Walk into the old town. Everything is clean and the backyard rooms are quiet with a beautiful garden. Breakfast could be better though.

The ladies at the front desk were very kind and helpful! Nice room too with hot water and good breakfast. Come with travel questions even if youre not staying the night.

Excellent hospitality. Perfect room arrangements, just right for a holiday. 'Pom', the lady who runs the place, thinks of every possible eventuality and ensured that we are not just well informed, but secure and comfortable at all times.

Rooms and bathrooms were outdated. Our shower head broke, the power went out, service wasn't great. We tried to call the front desk for help, but there wasn't any batteries in the phone. The view was spectacular, though, and the outside of the hotel looked great!

Beware! This is not a Bed & Breakfast as they claim. Serving just toast and fruit and charging 30 to 35 BHT for eggs makes it a cheap hotel who likes to deceive people. Also the beds are cheap, hard, and not even. The location is good but that is all it has going for it.
