We spied The River Market from across the river when we stopped somewhere for a drink, then visited it in the evening for a wonderful dinner. The interiors are typically Thai with a twist and the dining terrace gives diners a great view of The Iron Bridge all lit up, as well as their own pretty jetty and sweeping lawns. The food was superb and the waitress advised us we’d ordered enough before we finished ordering. We took her advice and she was right. The summer rolls were absolutely delicious, so light but filling and the soft shell crab salad was yummy. I really enjoyed the prawns, even if they were a little spicy. I’d definitely recommend a trip here and it’s not expensive either.
