Perfect location, close to the old town and the river, great for walking to all parties. Service and attention very good.

Perfect location in central Chiang Mai walking distance to cutesy shops and local markets. Clean pool and private rooms. Breakfast was subpar but service was great!

Friendly and welcoming staff with great English. Hotel is in a great location. It is clean and comfortable. The rooms were a bit small for American standard with not much storage, but still comfortable. We had an amazing time and woukd stay here again.

Nice affordable hotel in a great area. Room and bathroom are very spacious and clean, though both a bit dark. My only real complaint is that since the doors are glass, there's absolutely no noise insulation. Even with earplugs, I would hear the housekeepers every morning, who were very chatty right outside our room.

Terrible stay. Room was next to a housekeeping room. At 430 am each morning you hear through paper thin walls the filling of buckets, banging and talking and then they start to work in the hallways which keep you awake the entire time. Shower was dirty, very little hot water and low pressure. Room floors were disgusting, dark and musty no fresh air and way overpriced for what you get in Chiang Mai. Pool too cold for anyone to swim in.

Very impressive designed in mixing Thai wodden decorations and loft style. Its location also great, 10 mins to the left is the Ping River if you turn right is Tapae Gate but wall can't prevent noises from your neighbour.

Good location, clean and nice architecture. However, the rooms were quite small and had glass doors with no other windows so a bit dark if you wanted some privacy and occasionally noisy. There was also only a glass partition and a curtain to cover it for the toilet. The hotel had no iron for clothes which was strange. At check out, we were asked to pay for a beer from the minibar which we did not drink. When we said we had not taken anything from the minibar, they did not believe us and asked us if we had “forgotten”, which we found very insulting. We did not receive an apology for the mistake and instead they kept insisting we took it. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

First met my wife here. Remember the staff fondly. Returned for her birthday. I consider it the most romantic place in Chiang Mai … but I'm justly prejudiced.

Very comfortable, quaint boutique hotel with a rustic atmosphere close to old town Chiang Mai. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me find an operator for a day trip to Doi Inthanon and booked it for me. Saved me 10 minutes of staring into my phone comparing TripAdvisor reviews.

Nice ambiance, but it's older and starting to show its age. We did not see any elevators for the top floors and the first floor is right by the pool which means excessive noise. The walls are very thin and the doors are just simple windowed doors (similar to balcony or garden doors). The bathrooms have very little privacy (only covered by a curtain and thin clear windows). The staff were nice, but did not speak English too well. Our room had a dead cockroach and I literally had to draw it for the staff to understand and call house keeping to clean it up. This is a decent hotel for couples, but I'd skip it if you're a family or not travelling as a couple. The value for money is lacking.

The restaurant had good food and service. The hotel staff was very friendly and booked a great tour for us. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and rooms with high ceilings and dark wood.

Small rooms, the rooms are only glass boxes, which can not be darkened with the curtains; should be refurbished once!

It is a nice place, very well located and more if you want to participate in Festival Loy Krathong and the historical center. There is a really cheap laundry to no more than 2 blocks.

I don't understand the high rating, we had a really disappointing experience: +really beautiful design +public lounge areas throughout the building -thin walls and noisy, woke up by the neighboring guests many times. Our room shared a locked door with a neighbor room. -very little daylight. Windows facing the inner courtyard only and if you want air condition they have to be locked. So you end up in a very dark chamber. -when we checked out the hotel accused us of having taken from the minibar which we didn't. They asked us multiple times and even though we told them friendly it is not true and must be their mistake, they didn't let go of this. Only much later they said it's ok. Thats not very professional. -staff was very nervous and seemed inexperienced when checking in I wouldn't recommend going there.
