Love Luna Guesthouse! We were supposed to be here for only 1 week and we ended up adding 2 extra weeks because we loved it so much. The bed is comfortable, the owners are super sweet, the property is kept super clean, and the location is PERFECT. It is just outside Ta Pae gate, right next door to some clothing shops and the best rotee cart in town. Super quiet and convenient location. There are restaurants and bars down the street and street food just inside the gate as well. The post office is also super close. Honestly could not recommend Luna Guesthouse more! It is perfect. Definitely stay here and try to book your tours through Kischa as well since you will get a discount!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Luna2. The place is close enough to stroll over to the old city but in a quite street on which you only hear bird chirps when sitting on the porch. Kisha was easy to communicate with and very instrumental from booking a humane elephant tour, through a cycling tour and even in finding a scooter rental shop. We highly recommend the place and would happily stay with her again. The guest house and the shared bathroom/showers were very clean and well organized, the coffee / tea corner always supplied.

Nice clean rooms with good AC. Breakfast is quite expensive, but it is located close to many other places to eat. Staff were super helpful in showing us places to go in Chiang Mai, as well as letting us leave our bags past checkout when we had a night bus. Nice place to stay for sure!

I am staying here at the moment and I can definitely recommend this place when you are looking for a clean, cozy, quiet and affordable accommodation. Shared bathrooms are extremely clean and the host is a really pleasant person. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Chiang Mai in the future.

Pretty nice place. Large rooms, tidy bathrooms. Really good location. Could do with more facilities for guests (maybe a small kitchen area), and free water would be a nice touch.

Very affordable accommodation. Very friendly and helpful owners. Tours are available from luna 1 which is very helpful.

I cannot possibly rave about this guesthouse enough. It's a hidden gem down a vine-lined alleyway that allows you to somehow escape the beeping sounds of tuk tuks while still in easy walking distance to the Old City, the Night Bazaar, Chinatown, etc. This was my perfect sanctuary to escape the loud crowds of hostels while still having an intimate and respectful community of fellow travelers as well as with the staff. Luna is an authentic Thai family run business and they don't try to be something they're not. They have a humble and rustic style in the midst of tropical plants, where you can enjoy morning tea on the balcony, or catch up with the staff and fellow travelers on the front porch with a beer or book in hand (they even have a bookshelf to use! ), all while listening to the soft buzz of cicadas in the background. The cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms were consistently spotless. I found this guesthouse as a young solo traveler trying to escape the western scene that has become your typical hostel these days. Each day I only booked one night as I planned to travel onwards to my next city. One night turned into four, until these single night bookings until the fifth night they were already overbooked. Needless to say after the following days of higher and lower end places I stayed at, I came running back to Luna AGAIN! I've already prebooked a month in advance to be here over Christmas, because if there's anywhere that will make me feel at home, it's Luna.

Really nice, quiet and yet very close to the busy highlights of the city. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is really friendly and helpful.
