What a lovely guest house. I tend to stay in hostels to save on money, but Baan Rare managed to be cheap and a great place to stay. I paid 190 baht for a bed in a 4 bed dorm room. I believe the price is normally 250 or 300 baht (apparently cheaper if you book online) because there was some signs around the place saying so. The bed was very comfortable. The room had good air conditioning and the whole building was locked with magnetic doors so I could be sure my bike and belongings were secure. The showers were clean and hot. I'd gladly stay here again.

Rirk nice owner of Baan Rare — the nicest 'Guesthouse' i've eve stayed at in the whole of Thailand. Clean, quiet, great mattresses — not too hard, not too soft, towels, clean fluffy white, nice soap & shampoo. Communal fridge, stove, microwave, plates & cutlery. Next door lady does sameday laundry small bah 30BHT. Good air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. Instant Hot water shower, bikes for rent, close to 7/11 & Tesco, always a Tuk Tuk close and only 80bht to Central Plaza Mall & UD Town food markets. On my "be back" list :)
