Clean, good host Tim, friendly. You can ask for a kettle for hot water at the reception. The view of the morning from the bungalows is very beautiful. The bed is clean but there were stains. The bed is creaking from sex, but discomfort does not deliver.

Toilet didn't flush. The room was okay. The aircon was hot. Location was good. Easy check in and out.

The location of the villa is perfect. You wake up to the sound of the sea & it is simply magical. The villa itself is pretty nice. The manager, Tom, was very friendly and very kind. The receptionist was jolly and quite helpful. The room was cosy and the bathroom not bad. The porch was one of the best things about the villa. You can sit there for hours doing nothing and just staring into the sea and taking it all in. Their breakfast arrangement was quite conveneint and the menu was not bad. The location is right next to the pier and it's a 8 — 10 minute walk (with luggage seemed longer hahaha) which is great. And it's an ok distance to the Village (that's where the beach is and the food places are). The walk is a pleasant one. I don't know how to ride a scooter so it was walking for me. The room tariff was reasonable. If you can book well ahead of time, you'll get them that a cheaper price. Mine was a last minute booking. Breakfast (English) was quite cheap and filling. You pay as you go. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I know I'll stay there again in a heartbeat :)

Everything about the rooms is great-nice view and very clean. However, all of this is absolutely ruined by the staff letting Chinese tourists take over. I came for a relaxing weekend away from Bangkok and instead had to experience Chinese people shouting to each other from room to room, from beach to room, and swarming around me while I was trying to enjoy my breakfast (which by the way took 40 minutes to receive cold). The description says there is a restaurant or barbecue, but there isn’t anything to eat within easy reach besides 7-11. If you are interested in looking at a beautiful view and listening to Chinese screams and eating 7-11 sandwiches, you’ve found the right place.

Kind owner who speaks English perfectly, property is located right at the port, good to rest quietly alone in hammock facing ocean. Very simple but have things all I need. I like the soft clean bed and 4 pillows so slept well hearing sea waving sound… Wi-Fi working well, room was cleaned and bath room was big enough, walking distance to restaurants and convenience store as well. Recommend for single travelers.

I rarely use the word perfect but perhaps this is one of the most perfect experiences out there, at least in Thailand. Sunrise Villas offers an absolutely stunning view from your front door at an affordable rate. The staff are nice and courteous and the restaurant has some good options available. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ko Samet.

Nice hotel, nice staff, not too expensive, by local standards, restaurant. Guests of the hotel in it discount-one hundred baht per day). The bungalows are cleaned diligently. The view from it is great. There is a minus, essential for those who have a sensitive dream-is the proximity to the pier. Boats and boats start puffing, rumbleing and simply roaring engines before dawn (and their provocative crews are also joyfully buzzinged. By steamship beeps, yes). Cheerful morning!

From pluses — cheap, Wi-Fi, close to pier and shops. To normal it. But with the bike, it's not a problem.

Basic and small but a great place to stay for a few days if you're looking for some peace and quiet.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are basic but the view and location is amazing, it's on a small beach very close to the island's main pier. However don't swim here, go to one of the main beaches — the sea is very quiet here so there are plenty of sea urchins! The villa has it's own restaurant, and it is a short walk into Samet and the main beaches. The rooms have Thai tv, safety deposit boxes and individual bathrooms. Also I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful, they carried our cases to our rooms and advised us about the area. I just wish I had more time here, I'd definitely come back given the chance.

General room facilities, but clean and tidy. Blowing sea breeze on the beach drinking beer is very comfortable …

Owner was very rude, it was very dirty. Very noisy, We couldn't sleep because of all boats. It is near to the main pier. Beach was full of dirt.
