I haven't encountered this reliable and friendly staff in years. For our booking request, even late in the evening, they went above and beyond, to ensure that we would get our requested rooms. Our bungalows had great air-conditioning, and were cleaned daily. Fresh towels and sheets every morning and a litre of water in the fridge. Everyone was very helpful with any request we had or information we needed and we felt very welcome here. You have a 20 minute walk or 3 minute ride to the nearest village, which has many great food places to choose from. I can't wait to come back here.
Lazy Republique is amazing! I stayed here for two weeks at the end of 3 months travelling and it was the nicest and best value place I’ve stayed. Nathalie and Loung are so friendly, kind and fun and made me feel like I was at home. They really went over and above to make me feel welcome. The room is so big, clean with very cool design. The bed is the most comfortable I found in Asia. The room is cleaned very well every day with fresh towels and water replenished. Breakfast is delicious and the common space is great to hang out it. I was able to book snorkeling trips and a bus to Bangkok at very reasonable price. I was also able to book a motorbike here for only 150 baht but only because I like travel around the island. Everything you could need is within walking distance… shops, restaurants, bars and beach. I was sad to leave here and I will definitelt be back! I cannot recommend Lazy Republique enough.
