Well worth checking out this little gem. Recently refurbished, very friendly and professional staff, the place is also full of great deals, from very reasonably priced beverages to very tasty and affordable food. I personally recommend the full breakfast. 😉

I arrived here on a Thursday evening, together with friends. We booked two rooms, and were accommodated by the staff. Reception is nothing special, the hotel is cheap, the elevator very small, very slow and dirty. Then when I arrived at my room on the third floor, my room had a funny smell but seemed to be clean. Unfortunately, there was no sound proofing, so you could hear the music playing outside until 01.30 A. M. In the morning. The room was very hot and the aircon seemed to be too small to be able to cool down the room properly. The bed was quite hard and the bed sheets had holes here and there due to aging. It was too hot anyway to sleep under the sheets. After I took a shower, and came back late at night after dinner, I noticed in the bathroom some giant cockroaches that crawled out of the shower drainage, sitting on the bathroom floor. I immediately notified the reception staff, who brought two spray cans. One for the cockroaches and one for the bad smell. The reception guy sprayed the cans around in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Then left the spray cans with me, saying that they couldn't give me another room until the next morning. If I would see more cockroaches I could use the spray cans. Also the bad smell in the room kept coming back. I asked the guy if he could smell it and he said yes. The spray can didn't seem to be effective to kill the cockroaches or keep them away. There were even more cockroaches at the other drainage near the toilet.
