A good 3 stars hotel whic located near Chaopraya river.

Nice place to stay there. They have two Wings one is quite good, the other one is also very good but at a very cheap price. Worth staying there if you are only staying overnight.

Average hotel. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children on booking. On arrival there were only 3 beds, and we had to pay extra for an extra bed, while booking indicates the price for 4 people. On leaving we asked for a transfer to the airport, we were called a taxi with the suitcase in front and we 4 in the back. I asked for another taxi for safety reasons, the front desk refused and forced us to take this mayen transport with a child on their lap.

Avoid. Book somewhere else. Rooms: Smell of mould, need rennovation, don't have proper lighting and have uncomfortable bedsFacilities: an indoor pool with a roof, and an empty room you can sing karoake. Breakfast: Caters mainly to asian cuisine with limited options. Location: a 7-11 across a busy and dangerous road and not much else in the immediate vicinity. There are a few nice bars / restaurants within 10 minute walking distance. Staff: helpfulThe rooms will really put you off, as they are unclean and dingy. There are many other nicer hotels for a similar price. I've shared pictures of the view from our room, the 'double bed' which is two singles, and the state of the bathroom.

We book 1 tripple room but hotel is not available. So we book 1 double room for 3 person with extra bed. Room rate 1150.2 baht/ night. Extra bed 800 baht/ night. This rate without breakfast. It so expensive. Hotel 3* but it don't have toothbrush and slipper I never come back Trang Hotel. (Receptionist and bell man are friendly) Our room 2409 c/in 21.04.15 c. Out 23.04.18

Close to the touristic areas. Good rooms and service. Cheap airport transfer and delicious breakfast.

Very good services. Hotel in 15mn on foot from Kaosan Rd, easy to reach. Little Haven of peace. Clean and spacious rooms. The staff at the hotel very helpful.

Clean room, easy access to near by attractions. Swimming pool nice extra :)

Amazing view outside but the actual room was a little bit disappointing… it was so small that the 2 beds were cramped together and the sink was right next to the TV and in front of the bed, there wasnt a closet but there is a corner where you can store and hang your clothes. We booked two standard room and the other room was better and bigger, we couldnt even access the Wi-Fi in our room but the staff are amazing and nice just like the breakfast.

Floor cleaning should belong to housekeeping.

Good accommodation. The hotel staff are nice and accommodating. Clean room. Nice and relaxing pool. Delicious foods at the hotel restaurant. Near Bangkok's temples and tourists landmarks. Overall, we had a great stay at Trang hotel.

It looks as if you in a shady part of town. I took a walk around and the locals were very nice, staff was friendly. I was not happy about the no hot water shower and the towels didn't smell fresh. But that's just me being a snob, overall l had a good experience. 7-11is just opposite the road Should you go, bring your own ext/usb because all channels on the TV are Thai.

It's my 10th times to Bangkok for training and I usually stayed in Pratunam area with other colleagues. This time I stayed in Trang Hotel just because it was quite near from the UNESCAP and there was a free shuttle bus in the morning. But there was no shop and restaurant in the surrounding especially after office hours. Only 7Eleven could be found. The room was okay but my pillow sheets seemed not too clean. Luckily the towels were clean, white and fluffy so I used one to wrap my pillow. Two bottles of mineral water were provided for free every day but no kettle, coffee and tea bags. Only small bottles of liquid soap and conditioner shampoo plus shower caps were available. The hair dryer was hidden behind a small mirrored cabinet. The aircon could not be controlled. Whatever you set it up it was the same cold temp with a strong fan. Breakfast buffet was okay. It served in an open air overlooked a nice swimming pool and fish pond.

Good place and affordable to stay. Close to some of the most popular temples and Khao San Road.

From first look the place look outstanding but as you take a closer look you can see cracks in the wall and repairs that stands out. The staff was very polite and courteous. The biggest problem I had was my last day I couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi. For the price I paid for the room it was good.

The staff doen't have nice respone and ignore the customer.

Had a great stay here. Good ambience, good service, great buffet and the location is also good. Is comparatively close to Khaosan street, one of the most happening locales of Bangkok.

Price and location of the hotel C is top. However the rooms remain very basic without decoration. The pool and is summary but acceptable.

Place to spend 1 or 2 nights. The halls and walls are run out. The common area is great to take a sit and drink a beer. It's very quiet. A big swimming pool in the middle of the building.

Mr Arthit the bellboy is AMAZING! Had everything been up to Mr Arthits' standards I'd have no hesitation in giving this place 5 stars. That being said, for the price, this place is very good. Bedding and rooms are very adequate. The pool is a welcome respite during hot periods. But, they seem to skimp on giving wash cloths at all. No ironing facilities but, they do offer laundry services. I'd like to give this 4.5 stars (again, for the price) so, 4 stars will have to reflect what I'm trying to say. Again, if you don't know exactly what you want to do, if you don't know exactly how transport works in Thailand and to save yourself a LOT of money, and a LOT of time, please ask for Mr Arthit!

A haven of peace in Bangkok not very expensive.
Poor location, far from the center and close to a double track difficult to traverse on foot!

Stayed from July 21 to July 24. The rooms are clean but very dark despite all the lights on. The pool opening too late in the morning and closing too early in the evening. (9am-9pm). The varied breakfast served from 06:00 to 10:00. The staff were very friendly. We understood why the restaurant serves us warm meals at the cold limit because the kitchen is in the other wing of the hotel. We have to check the bill every time because we're counting meals we haven't ordered or sometimes double counted. The hotel for a night or two no more.

Just like an ordinary apartment buildings, nothing special but nice.

A great value for money. Rooms are simple but has everything you need. The swimming pool is indoors and bell boys are very helpful. Go out of their way to make you have a pleasant stay as well as give you ideas for activities and help arrange transport when required.

Good clean inexpensive Hotel.

The Trang Hotel is situated perfectly if you like walking through the city and enjoying the local culture. The touristic spots, like Kao San Road and the Royal Palace, are less than 30 minutes away by foot. But not only the location, the hotel itself is very nice for the price; it has a swimming pool, and although it is promoted as an outdoor swimming-pool you should expect a semi-indoor swimming pool, it has a luxury restaurant with a nice breakfast buffet, the rooms are very clean and last but not least the staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all a nice hotel with a good price/quality balance!

Cool hotel, very smiling staff. Not at all — the building is smallish.

Good value. Sweet pool. Excellent service, very accommodating and flexible (allowed us to check in super early).

Possibly the worst experience in my life. The hotel website states all rooms are carpeted but mine was half bare, stained concrete and the other dirty vinyl. There was no hot water. I was on the 3rd floor and the lift was broken continually. The swimming pool was closed and there was no reception on the TV. And there was no international dialling from the room phone or reception. They refused to help. Come here at your own risk.
