Bangkok Hotels near Thewet Pier

We had a pleasant stay at Centara Life. Location was fine for our plans, but there are not many good food or store options nearby and it is a bit far from the BTS line.

We stayed at this hotel on our first night arriving in Bangkok, and overall it was a good experience and value for the price.

This hotel is located on a good location in Bangkok. Khaosan. The rooms have different sizes. The owner used cheap prices for this location. But, it, s a familiar hotel, very clean.

Single room spacious and with a bathroom, balcony, TV, mini fridge and fan, plus air conditioning. Plus normal furnitures.

Fantastic hotel with a very simple, in the best sense, design.

A unique hotel but not 3 stars. As others have noted, the hotel is full (clogged? ) with retro decor and kitschy touches. If you like that sort of thing, this is for you.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Pranakorn Heritage Hotel in January 2026 and I am proud to say I think this is the best hotel in Bangkok.

This is a very nice hotel with exceptional staff who are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and the beds are very nice.

Beautiful Hotel/Hostel. Service is great, they give you everything you need. We had a warm welcome with a cute decorated bed. Rooms are super clean.

We booked their suite for 5 nights in September 2025 as a couple. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and they also prepared a gluten-free dish for us due to our allergy.

The hotel is in a very nice location, and just 10 mins walking to khao san road.
The have upgraded our room free of charge when they know that we are honeymooners and this was our first destination.

Good location — very near the palaces, Khaosan Road and easy access from Icon Siam and Asiatique via Chao Praya River. Lots of coffee shops, restaurants, massage shops and convenience stores nearby.

An amazing restructured old colonial-style house in stunning grounds, with extremely friendly staff. The food at both breakfast and dinner is excellent quality, thank you to Chef Na and Sandra.

Excellent hotel! Nice room, pretty clean, all the appliances worked, including the internet. There's no elevator, only stairs, but we didn't have suitcases, so it was fine.

Words will not be enough! This place is so cute, beautiful and calm that it will complete your whole Thailand trip.

What a lovely elderly couple running this homestay! I received such a warm welcome, with a delicious homemade drink and a small gift. And the lady’s cooking is amazing!

I cannot say how wonderful the vibe of this place is. The owners are just absolutely wonderful, kind, generous and helpful. The rooms are basic but have undeniable charm with great amenities.

The swimming pool is indeed not the highlight of this place, more of a nice a nice plus.

We took the large room that includes a bedroom and a living room for four days. An amazing hotel with a very central location on one hand but is on a quiet street so there is no noise.

The coffee shop has some of the best tasting espresso beans I’ve had so far in Bangkok. The espresso machine they use pulls very rich and flavorful shots perfect for lattes.

I had a very good first impression of this hostel.
The shared bathrooms and toilets are very clean, as well as the room.
The room is a bit small and only has a fan, but it’s enough for a few nights.

A beautiful boutique hotel located on the Chao Phraya river. Very professional staff who are very helpful and very responsive.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is only a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of khao san road. The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the facilities first class.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, in December 2025 and had a wonderful stay. Hotel was extremely quiet, within 5 minutes walk of Khoasan road area.

Old fashioned hotel with top friendly stuff and realy big familyrooms. Around this place you can find a lot of streetfood and restaurants and bars.

We enjoyed our really big and clean family room. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is in interesting area nearby Khao San road and minutes away from Soi Ramuttri. We come again.

Good location on rhe canal. I can see reviews where people got welcome drinks that did not happen for us. Porter was excellent. Staff were efficient, but not personable.

I came across this guesthouse by accident and it was perfect! Extremely comfortable soft bed, quiet area, friendly and welcoming staff and at a good price.

Very Clean hotel, Best area to stay in town.
The staff also very friendly. They kept out bags after check out, and also gave us bottled water every day.
