Nappark Hostel @Khao San Hostel

Loved it here, it was so easy to meet other travellers and ive made some great friends from staying here. I would definitely reccommend. The staff were also lovely and very helpful.

I was a little nervous about traveling solo, but had read great reviews of this place. They're all true! The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and there are multiple key only access points to cross until you get to your living quarters. It is located right off of Khao San road, a bustling street lined with vendors for the essentials: elephant pants, good food, good music, good drinks, good people! However, it is not right on the road, so it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep in. Oh, and free Wi-Fi! Woohoo! The living quarters are very clean, and as are the shared toilet and shower area. It is obviously very well maintained and looked after several times a day. I stayed in the shared women's dorm on the 4th floor. The air conditioning is turned on at night. I didn't feel a need for it to be running during the day anyways, since most guests are off exploring the city during the day. There are plenty of fans in the lobby to keep you cool and areas in which to relax if you want to lounge around during the day. I arrived in middle of the day, so there was only one person hanging out in the lobby area. I was a little bummed about that since I was looking forward to meeting other travelers. However, later in the evening, after guests had returned from a day of activities, I met a whole group of great people, and went to grab a bite to eat with them. During my second day there, I was off galavanting around the city. When I returned to NapPark, I met more fun people!

I had an amazing Travel experience because of this Hostel. Very convenient to various tourist destinations most especially if you want to visit several temples. Transportation is very accessible and cheap. A bus ride costs 7.50 baht. Just a minute away to the night market, restaurants, etc. I could eat with just a hundred baht a day. A night stay is really cheap but I hope they will have special promo price next time I come here. Haha Just one reminder, bring your jacket if you plan to stay here. The room was freezing but a bit uncomfortable in the afternoon coz AC will be turned off.

Incredible location, close enough to the action but far enough to have a quiet nights rest. The vibes here are so positive and they put in a real effort to make everyone feel welcome. The moment you walk in you feel like family. Spent my first few nights in Thailand here and it was the best start to my trip. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Bangkok!

I had stayed in nappark during 2018 new year for a couple of days and it was amazing experience out there friendly staff n clean hostel with good linens, clean bathroom n safe place to stay… 9.5/10 my rating.

The hostel is good. You chose this hostel beause of its location and social group. There is always people around and it's always clean. Only downside is it's a little more expensive than others.

Had a mixed feeling experience at this hostel. Staff was nice, relativly clean and located near what some could call a place to see in Bangkok (Khao "Watch out you might get Hepatitis B by just walking by" San). But I barely slept at all due to horrible backpackers talking and smoking all night in the room. And for the price I think there are better options in Bangkok.

Great value for the price, friendly staff. They booked a night train ticket for us last minute and even went to get it for us so we could make it in time. Do be aware that the shared rooms will most likely have people gone partying at Khao San road coming in (loudly) at early morning hours, so if you're here to get up early and explore the city rather than partying, you might want to look at quieter neighbourhoods.

GREAT LOCATION! Nice, clean, simple rooms. Women's bathroom had great showers and was well-kept. Computers available in lobby. It is advertised with a bar but in actuality it is a cooler with beers priced nearly double of 7-11 down the block. A/C is turned off all day. Tours available to book through front desk. Public spaces are in definite need of update but location is awesome.

My first hostel experience and I liked most of it. The desk staff was super helpful and the place was clean for the most part. The main area downstairs could use some tidying up beneath the mats on the floor but the dorms were clean and well maintained. Also they should consider using the AC before 6pm as it is super hot and humid in Bangkok and should you get tired from touring and the heat you cant even go back to your dorm to cool down or have a quick nap because it's even hotter in there.

Loved staying here. I stayed for 2 nights in the 22 bedroom dorm and it was super clean and felt very private still as it is sectioned off into rooms of four beds with privacy blinds. It has a nice chill out area downstairs, nice showers, lovely knowdledagble staff and it's in the best location!

Great Place to stay If you want to meet people from all over the world, however it is not a must. Location is fantastic, Close to kao San Road, but quiet. Clean rooms and toilets, friendly staff, respectful travellers.

Hostel with a luxurious touch. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, toilets are well equipped, air conditioning is strong. There's also PCs for use at the lobby. Fantastic value in a great location near Khao San, yet not too close to the noise!

Clean and accessible bathrooms. Clean room with a decent bed. Not much noise and very close to bars and restaurants.

Walked in at 3am to try and get a room. Helpful staff no fuss stay. The layout of the 20bed dorms is really impressive and same with the communal areas would stay again.

Very nice, clean and cozy hostel with the best location in Khaosan road — close to everything but chill and quite if you want to have a good sleep! Perfect for me as a young female backpacker and for my 7 years old kid as well :) Everyone is welcome. Love ya'll, Val and Kyri.

Great location close to Khao san road but far enough that u can sleep. Lots of solo travellers so super easy to make friends.

Really good hostel. 4 nights in a 6 bed on the first floor. Toilets/shower area always clean. Nice atmosphere downstairs. Always people sat out front to talk to. Would definitely stay again. Good distance from Khao San.

Close to Khao San Road but avoiding the hustle and bustle. There are many food stalls around, very cheap. The 7eleven at 100 meters.
The room, although of 20 people, quite quiet. It is divided as in small rooms of 4 and with a estor for more privacy.
The worst thing is that there is no light in the hallway, so I needed the flashlight every time I went to the box office. You must bring your own padlock.
The key deposit is 400bath, and it is a pretty big plastic bracelet, in my opinion easy to lose if you have the little doll.
I think there will be just as good hostels for half the price of this… 13 Euros a night in Bangkok is expensive.

Good to meet people and very clean, but staff could be friendlier!

I loved this hostel. It was clean and close Khao San Rd. The bathrooms were really nice. They had big dorm rooms and it can get a little noisy so don't stay here if you're bothered by that kind of thing.

If you like a stiff bed, which I do, you'll like this place. Nice accomodations, nice staff and next to Khaosan road. Also, a great place to meet a ton of backpackers because they all hang out in the entryway.

Fantastic hostel, especially for a solo traveler! Nice beds and showers plus an excellent commons area that was always lively. Very easy to meet people. If you plan on staying near Khao San road area look no further and book this place now.

Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Met great people 5 minutes in whom I was friends with for the weekend I was in Bangkok. Very social scene, clean beds and nice bathrooms. For the price you do get what you pay for as it is expensive.

Great place if you want to meet people. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is traveling alone and is open to meeting new people.

Probably the best hostel I've stayed at. The amenities are really nice, it's a shame there's no bar here but you can purchase beer from the fridge. The staff are really friendly and will help where they can.

I enjoyed every aspect of the hostel. The vibe was great to meet people. What really set it apart was the staff in particularly, View, who went above and beyond to show us a great time on her time off and led us to some awesome night markets!

Situated close to the khao suan road, nappark is a quality place for those on a backpacking trip, however the prices are a bit on the higher side for the kind of services offered. The place is close to the market area and other tourist destinations such as the Grand Palace and the iconic Wat Pho temple. Talking about the hostel, the place is quite tidy and is maintained very well. PS: in case you're expecting availability of some indoor sport equipment, don't expect it out of nappark hostel.

NapPark is the best hostel in Bangkok. The whole place is very clean, the atmosphere is very social and friendly and the location is just perfect as it's super quiet to sleep but still only 5mins walking to Khao San road and Soi Rambuttri. Very safe, too with electronic keys and 24hr reception.

Nice thai styled hostel. It has a lovely communal room which was just next to my dorm on the ground floor so if you want to sleep early the noise is usually quite loud. Few minutes from khaosan road. Staff were not very talkative though maybe its just the lack of english or shyness. It does not really have a bar only a vending machine and a small area just outside the hostel where they cook vreakfast and make coffee for you which was great.

Nice location for khao San but for the price the dorm is rediculously large and there's only 2 men's showers and 1 toilet for each floor. Comfy beds and nice staff though.

Perfect little place to party and socialize. Everyone seems to have a great time here. The front porch is a great place to hangout before a great night out on KhaoSan. Stay out and watch people trickle back in from mid-night to 7am. During the day tough, if you are awake, there is a great little super-market around the corner for water, beer and other necessities. Great place to meet fellow travelers. Proximity to all attractions on the island makes this the only place for your to stop in BKK before you head out North or to the beaches.

Nice hostel well managed. Just remember to remove your shoes before entering. The staff was helpful, and there was a big and comfortable lounge aeria om the room with the reception. You were also alowed to bring your own food and drink to this aeria. Really close to Khao San, but quiet. Tried both female dorm and mixed dorm. Really good solutions everywhere. Would definetly go back if in Bangkok!

Awesome location. Not exactly on khaosan, so very quite but easy to party which is what you'll do in Bangkok most likely, especially if u stay by khaosan backpacker central. Tons of solo travelers, if u want to make friends this is an excellent opportunity. Cold ac at night. Bring a pillow case. Also they have hot water and the place is very clean. Staff is very helpful and trustworthy. If you want something more Thai authentic maybe go elsewhere but of course it's very easy to get around and there is tons of street food. I'd def stay again. Surprisingly clean and quiet. Nevertheless, bring ear plugs! Only shared rooms available and AC is very noisy. Nice community space.

This Hostel was beautiful, clean, secure, and comfortable. I also liked the location — near Khao San but not too near.

Average hostel. It's great to meet new people because its always booked out as everyone thinks that this is the best hostel. It's nice, but it sucks that the A/C is switched off during daytime and that the dorms are not cozy at all.

Nappark is a very nice and relatively new hostel. It is more expensive than its competitors but it is clean, social, and convenient to Khao San road without all the noise. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Nappark organises buses and the like but you pay a premium for the convenience. The rooms have air con and the Wi-Fi is great.

A youth brigade. Generally 6 people. Not live, but it feels nice.
