Bluefin guesthouse is quite nice as one of the cheapest places in Bangkok for a private room. There is a kitchen you can utilize, also shops nearby with everything you need. However the bus to downtown can take a very long time at rush hour.

Top for backpackers hardly any tourists in the neighborhood and to action 10 minutes by taxi. Very purist.

Location is great if you seek a quiet place. Very nice host and helpfull, though some effort for communication is needed. For a simple stay a pleasent spot.

Bluefin Guesthouse is amazing! We have really enjoyed staying here. Everything about the place is just what we wanted and more. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are good, great showers and kitchen facilities. And a really nice relaxed vibe! Highly recommend!

I love this place, quite and comfortable.

Its cheap. So thats what you get. Nice people. Everything you need is closeby. Its quiet at night. Toilets are clean tho its does smell a bit. Showers are clean too but spray water all over the place. But dont forget its only 5 euros a night for a twin bed room.

The staff here is extremely patient and friendly. They don't speak English and I don't speak Thai, but we still related on a lot of points and came to a clear arrangement with the room. The price was extremely reasonable and there was no need to haggle. The place itself houses people from all over the world in a peaceful rural setting of Bangkok. Expect few English speakers, but also expect patient and kind people in this area. No tourist traps, scams, nor brothels, just local Thais living a fairly peaceful life. A 20 minute drive from central Bangkok, this hostel is great to experience Thai culture unfettered by greed, while being a stone's throw from your business or exploits in central Bangkok. Added bonus, there're many street vendors, banks, and restaurants 200m away and a a giant shopping center less than 1km away!

The most wonderful cheap guesthouse in all of Bangkok! I've stayed here many weeks at different times. It's most wonderful! Cook your own food, chill in the kitchen or the garden. I will always go there when visiting BKK!
