Stayed kn amara bangkok for my 14 day ASQ. Process from pick up air airport to check in was smooth. Explanation of the procedures by the staff was clear. rooms were clean and well maintained. food and drinks provided were good with a different selectable menu each day. Room service options were plentiful and affordable too.

Amara Bangkok hotel is one of the best hotel I ever stayed! I’m so glad I was send here for my stay and the stay so far is a good one. The staff here all treat customers with the best manner and is full hearted treating the customer!

Central. Clean. Professional. And that infinity pool! We stayed on the club level and the breakfast and happy hour snack buffets were fantastic and well worth the extra cost to get a higher floor. Choose this hotel, it’s worth every penny to feel comfortable in a stressful Bangkok.

We were there for 3 nights and were absolutely satisfied. The location in Bangrak is very good, the rooms are tidy and the breakfast really very good. The best thing about the hotel, of course, is the pool with rooftop bar, which are absolutely perfect for quiet afternoons.

Staying on the top floor of the hotel, view is amazing over the city. The hotels location is perfect to get around the city. The staff is professional and friendly, the breakfast is good. Would definitely book the hotel again when in Bangkok.

Note that booking on Expedia does not entitle you to a free breakfast. The additional price is 480 baht or so per day. Other than that, my stay here was excellent. Helpful staff, good facilities. Would be nice if the rooftop pool was open past 8pm though.

The room is not so large, but clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom is also great and the air conditioning and internet work flawlessly. On the roof it has a pool and loungers — very pleasant after a day in Bangkok. Breakfast is awesome, there's everything from dimsums to egg dishes to bread and fruit. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

After 6 weeks in the simplest accommodation, the hotel was once again a highlight at the end of my holiday. Really beautiful and spacious rooms. In addition, the absolutely superior pool, which was not crowded during my stay.
The staff were also very, very friendly and also allowed us a situation checkout free of charge.

The day after the complaint, we were upgraded to a very nice room — free of charge. Thank you AMARA staff for accommodating and considering our feedback. We appreciate your efforts to make our stay in Bangkok enjoyable. ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: Not the best hotel for special requests. On the second day, I asked to have roses delivered to our room, but this couldn’t be completed. The following day, I asked to have champagne delivered to our room. I was told to walk downstairs and speak with management, because the hotel only offers soft drinks and juices for delivery. Very inconvienent. It’s certainly not a 4.5 star hotel with those servicing styles. However, when you first arrive to the hotel, the staff will greet you by opening the car door and usher luggage to your room. That’s the only special service you’ll receive for the duration of your stay. Not impressed.

We were very positively surprised when we entered our room. My wishes for a room far up and views of the city centre were taken into account. In general, the hotel was very clean, modern and centrally located. In addition, the view from the rooftop pool bar was terrific. You never had to drive particularly far. But I give a point suit because the elevator was extremely slow and the breakfast didn't taste us that way. Nevertheless, it was certainly the best hotel we've ever been in.

Great hotel experience in Bangkok. Modern design, nice spacious rooms, very comfortable beds (most comfortable bed I had in Asia so far). Stylish rooftop pool and bar (at reasonable prices). Gym has great city views and enough equipment. Staff at the reception could be a bit more attentive. Location is convenient.

Before few days, my mother and left this wonderful hotel and we are already looking forward to return here. From the moment we arrived with the taxi, we were treated like queens. They opened the door for us, carried our luggage into the room, and explained everything to us. They even helped us with organization of our trip to Siem Reap. The room was wonderful, we had 1 large bed and a view on several skyscrapers. The toilet was huge and clean, but the best part was bath, with the glass wall that look on the whole city.
The hotel staff were available 0-24 and they were all so nice and smiling. The breakfast was a buffet table and there was literally everything to eat, from fruits, noodles, rice, crepes, fresh juices, etc. The best part of this hotel is rooftoop infinity pool. I can say that this is the best pool not only in Bangkok, but in the whole world, and they also have some great cocktails at the bar next to the pool.
The hotel also offers a free tuk tuk ride, which takes you to the nearest SkyTrain station from where you can walk the whole city. The whole hotel and its staff deserve a 10, and if I return to Bangkok, there's no dilemma for me where to sleep again :)

I spent a few days at the Amara Hotel and found a perfect place in the center of Bangkok!
It's a perfect combination of beautiful architecture, ambiance and exceptional content. A large spacious room looking at the city, a huge bathroom with the most beautiful bath in the whole world. They have restaurant inside the hotel with an excellent choice of Thai food.
We had welcome gifts, and fruits and sweets were always on our table, with water, coffee and a full mini bar always available.
The staff were extremely friendly, they helped us to organize the city tour. They have their own Tuk Tuk to the closest SkyTrain station from where you are connected to the entire city very fast.
The hotel has AMAZING infinity pool on the top of hotel whit great roof bar whit music whit great lights on top of Bangkok, special feeling!
An excellent club lounge bar and restaurant with excellent food, smiling and friendly staff and extraordinary energy!
I fell in love with this hotel, and the next oppurtunity I get, I'm coming again!

Simply faultless. Really enjoyed my stay here, will be back for a few days in a week or two, really looking forward to that. Rooms and facilities spotlessly clean and all facilities are well maintained. Staff very helpful and always on hand. Must have been nice when just built, but maintenance is an issue. The roof top pool has a good view, but very small. Get there early to snag a seat. Okay if you get a good deal, but if you are paying close to a hundred a night, look else where.

I LOOOVVVEEE this hotel. We stayed in a Club room and it was so worth it. The room was beautiful with a lovely view on the 23rd floor. There was a bathtub and separate shower, free mini bar, and free breakfast. We also got to go to the club lounge on the 20th floor which offered free food and drinks every night. The rooftop infinity pool was beautiful and the perfect venue for their NYE party (which was all you can drink with a separate ticket). It was a luxurious experience and I would stay here again anytime.

Nice hotel, but like all Thai, a few slobbay, on the club floor got to the death of a smoked room, asked to change, sprinkled with deodorant.

The location of the hotel is OK, not far from the S2 of TBS, but the hotel is opposite the price is not low, the evaluation of the general, recommend the night Market entrance oasis, or to the city center to eat. The hotel room is a bit old, and the bathroom in our room has been lost and not repaired. The refrigerator of the room is the kind of transparent drink small refrigerator, the temperature is not low, can not drink ice water. The swimming pool in the hotel is actually quite small. The front desk is very good, but the English pronunciation is not very standard, sounds a bit laborious. In addition, we do not recommend to the side of the night market, in addition to small commodities is a bikini show.

Very chic hotel in a great location. Our room was with a view and the beds were very comfortable. It was 5 stars typically equipped with minibar, hair dryer and kettle.
The real highlight of the hotel, however, is probably the infinity pool on the roof. A wonderful view that should not be missed both during the day and at night. A great place for some snapshots …

Amara Hotel was the best out of all the hotel we stayed in Bangkok. The location was good, the rooftop bar was great, never too crowded and way more interesting than the hyped up rest in Bangkok. We loved the breakfast as well as the room and restroom in the room. Restroom was top quality and the bed very comfortable. The only disappointment is that some of the staff could have been friendlier, but we are all human and everything else made up for that.

Really super place. Great location / Very clean / very friendly staff / deadly pool on the roof! Highly recommend. Second time staying there so that says it all! Reasonably priced too. Oh and breakfast was ledge — Asian and Western selection.

They have an infinitive pool on top of the building. In the afternoon there is a magnificent buffet that starts at 17 and finish around 19. It totally worth it.

A luxury hotel. The room was huge, as well as the bed and the bathroom. The bed very comfortable. We were on the 17th floor and the views were spectacular from the room. The infinity swimming pool which is awesome! You can bathe watching the sun set and the skyline of Bangkok. It is expensive, but the price is worth the effort. The staff very friendly and attentive. The metro is a 10 min walk.

Room clean, but the layout is cramped, there are floor-to-ceiling windows, can not open the window ventilation, good location, R floor of the open-air swimming pool good, sight, look at the sunset by the opposite high-rise block.

The traditional hotels such as Hilton, Shangri-La and Pullman really show their age in Bangkok, the humid heat of the city has weathered them, making them look dated and somewhat tattered. The Amara is an incredibly fresh and contemporary comparison, whilst only half the size. Considerably less impossing with enthusiastic and helpful staff. The Wi-Fi is incredibly fast, stable and reliable throughout the building. The room is clean, large and without any marks with all the ammenities youd expect for a high end hotel. The double bed was much larger than one would expect and a genuine double as appose to two singles pushed together. The mattress was one of the best Ive slept one and the air conditioning kept the room at a perfect temperature.

Great hotel with large, spotlessly clean and well-fitted rooms. Abundant and top-quality toiletries, ample and good breakfast (although nothing too special), great location, extremely helpful and kind staff, and a beautiful pool at the top. You can even order food from the pool ;) Great value for money — would definitely go back.

We stayed three nights in a club room. Room 10, friendliness 10, breakfast 10 snacks, club 10 and swimming pool on roof top, amazing. If I returned to Bangkok serious show jotel without a doubt. Congratulations on all because it has been perfect.

Nice hotel, good staff, I booked a double bed room but my delayed flight led to delayed check in, only twin bed room is available and the staff is willing to change for a double bed room to me in the next day.

And it's not the same quality of food as if you go the the club buffet in the evening. — personnel at the "Club Lounge" on the 21st floor is great, very nice, helpful and professional — good and central location You have to take the "club room" you can have drinks all day and there is a great and quality "buffet" with a great view on the city on the 21st floor CONS — Would not recommend the cafe on the groundfloor, the cakes are not good — I've seen in few other hotels in Bangkok a better "taxi/transportation" service ; I've seen in other hotels the porter writing on a paper the taxi/car number and destination and making sure that they use the meter. In few instances the taxi didn't turn the meter and gave us his price (usually doubled the price) which hasn't happen in other hotels. However they are mostly nice and willing to help. You have to take the "club room" you can have drinks all day + great and quality buffet.

Got food poisoned from their restaurant, ants in the room, cleaning maids coming in at 8am despite do not disturb light switched off. I booked this hotel over the Hilton mainly for 3 reasons: — breakfast included — airport transfer included — rooftop pool None of these services were actually available: we were asked to pay 1400BHT Extra for breakfast, 35USD extra for the airport transfer and denied access to the rooftop pool. The only bedroom available was in a smoking floor, needless to say that it smelled really badly. When I asked for a different room they said to me no rooms were available and they send someone upstairs to spray deodorant instead. My booking also stated free welcome drink which, needless to say, I didn't get. Well I got a champagne glass filled with apple juice… if you want to call that a drink… Don't go to Amara.

One of the best hotels where I have been. It is worth paying the supplement for club rooms. Includes a laundry service (2 pieces per day) buffer for breakfast and snacking in a lounge exclusive. Good location and rooms.

Excellent hotel. Located just off Silom and the infamous Patpong area is just 5 mins walk. However the area surrounding the hotel is nice and not seedy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean (smells fresh! ) and air-conditioning works well. There is a small fridge but no mini bar in the room which I like as it allows me to store my own drinks etc without much trouble. There's a small area selling snacks and drinks at the hotel lobby. The breakfast at the basement hotel is decent as well. Overall would choose to stay here again.

Been at Amara a few weeks ago. The Club room with amazing bathroom and breathtaking views, it was fabulous! Really clean and friendly staff. The Club longe bar offers free food and drinks, every day 5-7pm where is all managed by an Amazing lady (Monk) and her fantastic team. I strongly recommend to book a Club room and enjoy the staying + benefits.

Construction noise in the Hotel woke us several times during our stay in the main season. Very loud air conditioning in the room. No window to Open. Unfriendly hotel management is not responding to requests. The hotel staff pointed to a taxi driver who wanted to cheat tourists. Breakfast should cost 760 THB per Person. What else is looking for you!

The hotel is the perfect choice to Visit Bangkok. It is beautifully located and has services and decoration of 5-star hotel at a moderate price. The staff is atentísimo and very resolute. The breakfast is very good and the rooftop pool is wonderful, especially at night, because they see the skyscrapers most impressive of Bangkok. Who wants to go there, to look for dinner when here you can take a "tapas" and a beer for not too much money, while enjoying breathtaking views of luxury? It is located in Silom, which is the area of the night march, both heterosexual and gay, and also features a night market and shopping malls like MBK. Yes, it is far from the historical center, but in Bangkok everything is far from the historical area. So better to stay near the restaurants, shops, and with subway and sky train to hand.

Would be very nice as a 4 star hotel. The good the bed very comfortable and the shower excellent. Bathroom well. The towels and bathrobes perfect. The biggest flaw, there were no common areas to be. Or you're standing at the front desk or stretched out on the bed in your room, which is something small, and becomes somewhat claustrophobic. The bar is on the roof, but as we are in the rainy season… Perfect for short stays, business trips with little luggage.

We stayed for 4 nights in Bangkok, our Deluxe room made his name all honor. From the iron to the safe, everything was there. We have felt ourselves super well and sleep well. All the staff were attentive and very friendly. To me the Breakfast, as liked best, I'd like to have for Breakfast never! Two things bothered me, for a great European, the dimensions in the toilet area are very tight, I could barely move and were changed every day the towels.

Since we had Operates access to a roof terrace with a hot tub (currently out), it was in the rooms relatively loud. Probably higher or in a direction other rooms are quieter. Could not check I the.

We found thier restaurant named Element situated at the basement floor serves a genueine tastes of Singapore buffet. We are very pleased with taste of foods such as Chilli crab, Nasi Lemak, Laksa and Hainan chicken rice are among their signature dishes. Price is only 703Bath net / person. The buffet starts from 6:30pm-10pm every day but their staff informed me that soon they will open buffet only on Friday. Must try this only few authentic Singapore taste in Bangkok. 4 stars for taste and services. P. S. Unlimited Tiger beer and fresh coconut as well.
