Very nice place and kid-friendly hotel but hope you provide kids' playroom as well. We love everything from the lounge (the ground & executive at the15F), the pool, the food & even the boat shuttle is a treat. We had great time during our stay. Thanks much!

It's one of the best hotels in Bangkok. It is situated on the bank of river Chao Phraya. From the room this river is clearly visible. You can have breakfast in there restaurant which is next to this river. They also provide free ferry service. Staffs are very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel with nice river views. Do take note that it's a complete non-smoking hotel with no balconies so not ideal if you like a hotel which allows it.

Great hotel that has its strong point in being overlooking the river. I booked two rooms for nine days and was treated very well. Once we got in front of the hotel they basically picked me up and my family and they made us check in on the 15th floor and not in the front floor reception and they did room upgrade spree and gave us some breakfast-type benefits on the 15th floor, where you find far fewer people, free happy hour in the evening, free tea from 3pm to 5pm. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Good pool and gym.
The hotel has a shuttle service with its own boat to Saphan Taksin one of Bangkok's main piers where you'll find the BTS and other boat operators on the river.

Really nice place! Great service friendly staff! This hotel is a little dated but is currently being renovated a little at a time, however don't let that put you off, because the hotel makes sure the renovations don't interfere with normal activities. Situated right on the Chao Praya river the views are wonderful & as I said, staff are very accomodating. Price is quite reasonable & I feel deserving of the 5 stars I have given it. Well done Ramada Plaza.

This review is ONLY for the restaurant on the ground floor. We took the family here for their Saturday evening buffet, and the quality of the food was excellent. Well on par with western standards. Seafood, roast lamb, etc. The decor and service were also very good. One minor downside (for which I deducted one star) was their cash-grab for standard soft drinks. When they already charge premium prices for a dinner buffet, asking customers to pay 110 Baht for a glass of fountain coca-cola comes across as excessively patronizing and greedy. It costs them almost NOTHING compared to the seafood and meat, so they should really get rid of these charges. (I’m certain they can make plenty off the alcoholic cocktails. ) The river view is excellent as well. Grab a couple of cocktails and perhaps some desserts after dinner, and go for a breezy sunset walk.

Attended a conference here. Place was well kept… Toilets clean and parking. Mostly outdoor so it was scorching hot! Had coffee at the lobby with some friends and it was a pleasant experience.

Surprised to see so many 5 stars. Main desk staff were extremely rude and after they found out they were wrong about the booking were unapologetic! Room was OK, a little dated but OK. Nice view and pool. Food and drinks a little pricey but maybe not for a self-professed "5star". Overall management/reception ruined my 3 day stay here. I will never go back.

We have now landed here after 1 week. I have to correct something. We now have a suite and it's super nice here. Too bad we just stay here one night. Nice and large suite. Times a very different number from the last stay.

Requested a simple manicure and pedicure and the manicure was so awful that I refused to have the pedicure. Sadly cannot recommend the hotel spa and so disappointed because the surroundings are lovely and I was ready to relax… ***Update: the lady kindly redid it and my nails are much neater so changing from one star to three stars. No higher as no moisturiser provided which is pretty standard when it comes to a manicure so that you’re not left with dry hands.

Awesome place! Pricey, but amenities, facilities are great. Staffs are nice some can speak English others not. Conducive perfect ambiance not noisy. Classy.

The front desk is super lousy! Lost a pair of trousers to get a pair of impatient appearance, very impolite! Not recommended!

Good conference room for meetings and brainstorm activities … unfortunately quality of lunch buffet and restaurant service, which were so excellent, are quite lacking this time around.

Of course you can find the hair in the soup if you are looking for one. The hotel is clean, well maintained, tidy, offers a free shuttle service (boat) to the Taksin Bridge. The food is typically Thai. All-round success!

In a loss of speed. It deserves a renovation especially in the rooms with dilapidated sanitary facilities for a hotel of this price/standing.

Great hotel. All staff very friendly. Shuttle boat to town. On the return journey, you got cold towels and water to drink on the boat. Great service! Hotel is very quiet and we had a very clean room and also in the rest of the hotel nothing to complain about. Pool an oasis of silence. Gladly again.

The hotel is nice, clean, and riverside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful. We had lunch at Ah Yut Chinese restaurant. The river views are beautiful.

Food and staff Amazing. The rooms are nice but some with carpet. Floor 15 and 16 are VIP and newly renovated try to get there. You have boats straight from hotel dock to sky train evry 30 min. The marked is 5 min by foot witch was the most clean and cheapest we found being in Bangkok and of course at the corner where the exchange is you have the TUK TUK with the most wonderful driver.

A very nice and clean hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Room always clean. Everything is easily accessible from the hotel.

Class hotel in good location with own shuttle boat. Not far away from the antique night market or the attractions of Bangkok. There is a bus (line 1) nearby and the public pier is also just a few steps away. Breakfast is excellent. The only thing negative is the perpetual waiting at check-in. Wait at least 30min until everything is done.

Unfortunately, the House has already been in the years, it has some need for renovation. The service at the pool is also a bit slow, and not necessarily very friendly. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is very good. In the bathroom were some roommates (Kakalaken) It's Asia stop. But the 4 stars are no longer comprehensible to me either. You'd have to do something about that.

My team and I went there for dinner buffet. Great view. All food, especially lamb, they were outstanding. Thank you for taking care of us. We were cared with fresh fruit juices. All staffs gave us friendly smiles. I will definitely take my family back there. Thank you once again.

This is a beautiful hotel and we have enjoyed staying here very much. The breakfast buffet is right on the riverfront. It's a huge Buffet filled with all kinds of Thai Dishes as well as traditional breakfast dishes. The staff has been friendly and eager to help. They may not understand some English words, but we had absolutely no problem getting them to understand us. It is well situated to a number of things to see and do. We particularly have enjoyed the Asiatic Night Market which is just two blocks away. Lots of good shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Hotel is really central. Pretty good for exploring Bangkok. There is a regular boat shuttle which is well accepted. Dinner at the bar and breakfast OK. The rooms are quite beautiful. There is no such great interest in the cleanliness of the room. Especially as far as the topic of vermin is concerned.

The hotel is quite acceptable. Even though it has its best time behind it. It would have to be refurbished a few times. But we did not allow ourselves to be constrained. It is right on the river and a boat from the hotel takes us to the train and boat stations. I see it as a great advantage to quickly explore the city in Bangkok.

This hotel has a very pleasant, friendly atmosphere as well as excellent service. It offers great value for very reasonable prices. It is positioned on the riverbank with beautiful views of the river. The main restaurant has tables on the patio on the riverbank, and there is a riverside promenade on the first level as well. The large swimming pool is surrounded with palm trees and flowering bushes, and has a small poolside restaurant as well. The lobby is spacious and bright, with comfortable seating. It is a very pleasant place to meet with friends for a coffee and fine desserts. Although the hotel is a bit on the older side, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were in a superior room, and it was quite beautifully appointed, with light wood paneling and mirrors, and a classical Thai mural on the wall which made our stay in this fine hotel an even more interesting and pleasant experience. Room service is excellent, and the staff are very courteous, and will appreciate even the smallest gratuity. An extra delight is a free ride up the river on the charming, pagoda-style shuttle boats. They run all day and well into the night, and take you from the hotel to the central pier where you can catch other little boats to any point of interest, or walk into the central shopping mall, or even hop onto the sky train that whisks you in a few minutes into the heart of Bangkok main shopping and entertainment district.

It is an extraordinary experience. You can enjoy your delicious meal while the river flows beside you. The rooms are lavishly decorated and the view is spectacular.

Hotel was pretty well maintain, clean and staff were professional. International breakfast buffet offered silver dollar pancakes and French toast along with a variety of fruit, vegetables, and Asian options. Nice view of the skyline from hotel, good gym facilities, and pool. Bathroom in room included separate shower and tub, as well as sink, which is convenient when you have a roommate. 2 complimentary 16.9 oz bottles of water is a nice touch, but larger bottles (1.5 liter) like those often at the York would have been great since their water isn't drinkable. Actually most of concerns at this hotel focused on water access (small glasses available at breakfast) and the loud toilet flush. Should note that the hotel is older now, so expect a little wear and tear in the rooms. Other than that the hotel was nice and my stay wonderful. No pictures of the hotel but here's the view and pool.

Stayed here two times, this is my go to Bangkok hotel. Great riverside location, tropical pool area, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast to eat outside by the river.

Ideal location on the riverside with boat and road transport, proximity to Asiatique, value for money and local street food. Excellent service. Friendly Staff. I must mention Ms. May for her handling our check-in, Ms. Kelly for her local tour guidance, Ms. Nahathai for handling my booking efficiently. Experience to remember. Going back again :)

Best riverside view. Peaceful deck overlooking the river and the giant wheel. Perfect sunset watching spot. Staff are lovely.

A decent hotel but bad experience on two accounts. 1) Called the front desk on the first day to clarify on the Wi-Fi password and got scolded by the staff when they provided the wrong password in the first place. Eventually figured it out on my own. 2) Could be my ignorance but it wasn't nice that a hotel staff had to run after me as I was boarding the taxi to tell me that I have to pay for using the laundry bag. Hope that these issues could be fixed so that other customers don't face the same problems.

The intrace is ok pool en breakfast room area is nice but in the lobby 4 coffy 700 bath is to much.
The hotelroom look old Wi-Fi in the room to slow can't use and many niose in the day 82 decibel on the foon in the room can't relax becase they construction work in the hotel.

Nice modern hotel with clean rooms. You get 2 complementary bottles of water each day. The breakfast buffet is the best I've had at any hotel outside of Las Vegas. It includes sushi, omelets, cereal, bacon, pastries, fresh fruit, cheeses, and a variety of fresh fruit juices. They have a great pool as well. Also, don't skip the hotel spa for a relaxing Thai massage. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Arrived by taxi after a long train journey from Kanchananburi to Bangkok. Our bags were taken at the entrance and we were
greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to seats and brought a very welcome cold drink. Check in was completed very quickly and we were escorted to the lift and up to our floor. We were informed we had received an upgrade, very welcome, and after a quick chat were taken to our room. The bags arrived a few minutes later.
The hotel is in a lovely location with great views over the river and city. The pool and area were immaculate and poolside food excellent. In the evening the views of the river and city all lit up from the terrace are great.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and all the staff we encountered were very helpful, polite, and friendly. What's not to like?
Unfortunately we only had one night in this lovely hotel, but would stay again in a heartbeat.

It is a comfortable Hotel and enjoys a great location directly overlooking the river Ciao Praia.

This Hotel is famous with the local community for the well known Hong Kong Abolone Restaurant, Ah Yat, in this Hotel. The best Authentic Dim Sum in Thailand. Come week days to enjoy 50%off for Lunch DimSum. Sunday is too crowded. Reservation is recommended.

Nice hotel, is ideal for a shopping trip, bootstransfer top to the skytrain, friendly staff, breakfast also OK, coffee is not the best so I drink there is always a cup of tea. Clean, friendly, helpful.
In a few minutes walk you can reach the Nightmarkt which lies directly on the river. There can be good music and tasty food.

Front Desk attitude is very bad, very rude, this is my first time in a 5 star hotel. The worst first, and didn't stay. Just want to change hotels.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel in the month of August 2014 and we loved.
The Hotel is really nice, clean, well decorated and well located on CHAO PRAYA RIVER. In addition, we walk by boat Shuttle, it's really beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend this hotel to our friends and family and will stay again on our next trip.

We stay during 2014 songkran. I had a small incident, when the staff get to know about it. They show real concerned about my well being. The hotel is good but the people make this hotel great.

The location and the breakfast buffet of the hotel are the absolute strengths of this hotel. The House has a few more years on the humpback, what you stop already notices in the rooms, but that doesn't matter, it's all good. The air conditioning in the rooms is somewhat noisy. To the Asiatique night market is 10 minutes on foot and there is a shuttle boat to the cottages to the Thaksin Pier. Bottom line: for a few days in Bangkok is highly recommended.

I went to Bangkok on my first vacation this July. My only criticism was the lack of response to my complaint about the internet. It took two days and me going down to the desk after two phone calls on two different mornings to get them to act on my complaint which all it took was a simple flip of a switch on their server. The Staff at the Restaurant and Bar were very courteous and service was terrific. The food was also excellent. There was nightly entertainment provided by two ladies from the Philippines that sang wonderfully, and was terrific hosts. The hotel is in a bad location but that doesn't affect the accommodations and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. The pool area terrific, and the riverside view outstanding. I plan on staying there again on my return trip. Yes, it is a cab ride to the more busiest areas of Bangkok, but that wasn't a concern for me. I give it a thumbs up.
