We have loved our stay here. The hotel is an oasis of calm in a very crazy city. We have stayed here for 3 nights and have really enjoyed it. The rooms are lovely, free tuk tuk to station, free Wi-Fi, great food, fab rooftop pool open from 7am — 11pm. It was lovely to jump in the pool after a long day out. The greatest asset of the hotel by far are the staff. They are all amazing, so friendly, chatty and willing to help in any way. They have all made us so welcome and a big thank you to Taam, Sophie will miss you! Xx.

Nice place, walk to MRT Nana just 5 mins. Many coffee shops and restaurants around. Like this hotel, not noisy and friendly of all staffs, and nice restaurant inside the hotel. Shrimps salad is the best. Will come back for sure.

We only stayed one night sadly. The security guy at the front porch is super humble and friendly :D This hotel hits all the right spots. The price is right. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable, the shower is very nice. It's also good to be able to have the room for 24h. You get a welcome drink from the minibar in your room, you can choose one drink per person. When you check in you will also be able to choose a hand soap to take with you. The breakfast is amazing so many choices and the taste is perfect. And the breakfast room has a very nice atmosphere. I want to highlight that Lek, the friendly front desk employee gave us some valuable tips. It was a very nice stay.

Very good stay. Well placed for travelling and exploring Bangkok. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and fresh. Rooms were well cleaned, stocked and spacious. Gym was well stocked and well ventilated. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a short stay in the city.

The only U Hotel with city flair within the Brand, the others are all resort properties. It has shown that Urban hotels can be relaxing and fresh too.

Pleasant stay at U Sukhumvit Bangkok Pros: My room was amazing especially the bathroom, towels and sheets are fairly new, both are soft and very white. Staff was pleasant and helpful including the security guard. Love the breakfast and juice variety especially the juice mixes for energy etc. What a way to start your day, the mango sticky rice was sooooo yummy couldn’t get enough of it, had it everyday Cons: The hallways have no AC Television channel and shows very limited There was a big food stain on my pillow when I was going to bed called downstairs to report it not sure if it was a misunderstanding but they thought I stained it and told me I had to pay for it. After speaking with someone and explaining that I saw it there when I was getting ready for bed it was resolved. That kinda messed up my stay a little since other reviewers had similar issues Not really a con but might be an issue with some It is a bit ways to the main road but complementary tuktuk to Terminal 21 (very nice mall down the street) and Asok station, it is somewhat in an alleyway but don’t be alarmed felt very safe walking day and night, even late night I never felt in danger. I would stay there again for the amazing rooms, breakfast, restaurant and the convenience of the BTS and mall near by.

Ok. Very deep in a subroad. No walkway. Traffic was bad. Not recomend to walk from the mainstreet especially when u hav large lugguages.

We loved the 24-hour check-in/out policy (checkout time is 24 hours from whenever you checked in). There were good prices on happy hour drinks, but the drinks weren't great. The view from the small pool was great, though, and a nice place to sit with a drink. We did encounter mosquitoes after sundown by the pool (we were there in January 2017). When we were there, our room had a view, but it appeared that the views on that side were likely to get blocked by a new building that was under construction. The food here was not very good, and it was a pretty significant hike (10 min or so) to the main road, although Soi 11 was closer and had more going on. The elevator had an overpowering perfume-y smell that I couldn't handle. The people working at the front desk were nice but unable to get us a taxi for some reason so we had to walk with our bags all the way to the main road in the heat to find one. Next time, I would pick something one Soi 11, like the Aloft, instead.

Amazing rooms, spacious, quiet, clean and modern. The service is outstanding. Make sure to book the breakfast — it is delicious! Oh, and the pool with a view!

A very clean place and they are very kind in the room there are all the things you need including toothbrush and razor. On arrival we were also made to choose a soap with the scent that we liked:)
The breakfast is varied and plentiful recommended for 3 days in Bangkok They also have a TUC TUC service which leads to the nearest place to take the metro and the boat instead is near the hotel.
On the top floor there is the pool that finished visiting Bangkok is a real salanatin. Thank you.

Well located, have transportation to a nearby shopping center, terminal 21 I think it is called, good price, come back.

Hello together were two nights in the U Sukumvit Bangkok, have also received a free upgrade. Although the hotel is in a side street, there is a shuttle service to the nearest shopping center "terminal 21" and to the BTS station "Aosk", also when running back, the TukTuk from the hotel has always picked us up in the middle of the road. The hotel has a pool on the 8th floor, although a little small, but it is quite adequate for the 80 rooms of the hotel.
Pro: — Very friendly staff — modern and spacious rooms — great restaurant — price performance just fine contra: — Can't I reproduced conclusion: — can recommend the hotel without restriction, would return at any time.

We came in early March 2018. I want to start off by saying that everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end! The staff was super friendly whether it was front desk, cleaning crew, up at the bar at Uzzie on the 8th floor, the tuk tuk drivers. Everyone was so helpful. We were able to stay in both their superior room which is their basic room which I thought was more then enough and then also their executive room which was huge! Shower was amazing in both rooms. Beds were very comfortable. We had drinks and food here both for breakfast and dinner. The burger was huge and filling. Drinks were plentiful and were even able to get a free happy hour! Breakfast spread was great and lots of different options. Everything was cooked well and I had no complaints. The pool was amazing, one of our favorite things about the hotel. The view of the city is great and plenty of seating whatever time you head up there. The free tuk tuk service is a nice touch. Helped us out a lot as it can be a 15 minute walk to Terminal 21 or the main road which isn't bad at all but if you want to rest your feet, why not take advantage. Hotel is close to transporation either the MRT, BTS, or the river boat. We tried all 3 and they were all great. 5 stars and I would defnitely stay again :) I miss Thailand.

We booked two Executive rooms (the best room hotel offers). Each room was 40sqmt and has a city view. Though it is 750 metere away (8-10 minutes walk) from main road but hotel offers free tuktuk service to and from main road and Terminal 21 mall. Sukhumvit is happening area of bangkok. Breakfast is good. But like any other hotel/resort in Thailand they put veg and non veg dishes together hence vegetarians need to be careful. They gave us unlimited free drinks within one hour of our choice, 1 time during the stay. It was fun to have mocktails on 8th floor while swimming. We are non alchoholics. Those who consume alcohol can enjoy it even more. Room and bathroom are elegantly decorated and staff is cooperative.

Hotel with a lot of positive points. A swimming pool and a rooftop bar that serve until 11pm, a tuk-tuk service that takes you back to the underground station, a staff of the most dedicated and friendly, breakfast served until 11am very copious point. A few things to improve however at the room level: even if these are beautiful and spacious maintenance and cleaning could be improved. But overall I would recommend this hotel.

Very high standard. A modern and stylish hotel. The service is outstanding. The best we have experienced in Bangkok. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant we stayed at the hotel. The food there is also worth five stars. We will definitely use this hotel again.

Lovely, well-run smaller "botique-type" hotel (8 floors). Staff is very accommodating, professional, and helpful. Rooms are well-appointed, if a bit compact. Bathrooms are modern, with upscale fixtures. It is possible to get connecting rooms; great for a small family traveling with older teens. Very nice rooftop pool, restaurant, and small library/game room. Small fitness room has new and modern equipment. They run a free tuktuk shuttle to/from Terminal 21. The hotel restaurant is small, with a somewhat limited menu, but they do offer Thai and Western foods that are excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Reasonably priced.

Other than the location, which is quite a long way down Soi 15 away from the main road, we like this hotel a lot. Lovely room, really friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Plenty of eating places nearby, but 5-10 minutes walk to get to them or you can use the hotel tuk tuk to get up there. Hotel has a restaurant which we haven't tried yet but certainly intend to. Prices look very reasonable.

This hotel was booked for my group of friends via TripMasters and it was by far an excellent experience. Yuri helped us check in and was so helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant multiple times and the food was very good. They were also very accommodating, using the hotel tuktuks to drop us off several places. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Good breakfast and a nice view from the pool. River taxi up the road is the quickest, cheapest and most fun way to get around.

The rooms and the staff is absolutely amazing, we found the hotel through our chase rewards program. It was rated one of the best 4 star hotels for a reason, they seem to have a ton of people working for a relatively small boutique hotel but everyone is super friendly. They gave us a free happy hour card, which gave my wife and I free drinks for an hour at their pool bar, which I definitely took huge advantage of. The location is not on a main road, but that did not detract from our experience at all.

A nice hotel but those traveling with kids should avoid it. As they do not do room service post 2200 hrs and there is no kids menu or any recreation for kids. Rest is all good rooms are comfortable and food is of good quality.

Love U Sukhumvit Hotel. Excellent service, staff is amazing and food is awesome! The General Manager Carlo sets an example for his staff. He works like the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel. When in Bangkok, enjoy your stay at this hotel.

Loop top pool was great. Location is good for shopping. And shuttle bike was very convenient to move to terminal 21. I have willing to visit next time.

This hotels interior is nice and modern but this is far from the main road and there is not even any closer shops. U have to walk 15 minutes to go to Robinson or any restaurant. And this hotel is totally non smoking hotel. I liked the hotel but will not stay next time.

Nice budget hotel in the city, a nice hotel rooftop bar with pool.

Even though we were not hotel guests, they still welcomed us to eat breakfast there. We simply had to pay directly with cash or credit card. There is a breakfast buffet that offers something for everyone. It's reasonably priced. One of the managers spoke with us and found out wev were staying next door and came to Thailand to visit family. He was friendly and helpful. The dining area is clean and has almost an art deco theme. We would recommend this hotel if you like some modern touches and proximity to the trendy area of Sukhumvit.

Modern rooms, great staff, Nick works the night shift at the front desk and speaks great English. Helped us figure out tour for the Bangkok temples, floating market, and advised us how to get to the great night markets!

The only downside: the taxi drivers in front of the hotel wanted to cut some of their ears. I would have expected some kind support from the gatekeepers when they were standing by. We have either ridden with the fair and reliable Taxi driver (nickname: Mr. TukTuk) or have ordered Uber.

Great Hotel, all the staff were very friendly and you have a smile where ever you went. We took advantage of the complimentary tuk tuk which was great if you weren't sure where you were going. I recommend the taxi boat from Nana chart which is just up the road from the hotel, takes you to within walking distance of the temples. Staff again a great help providing a map and showing us how to get to places via skytrain/boat. The finger food was delicious and cocktails happy hour 5-8 buy 1 get 1 free. We stayed for 3 nights before heading off down south, its a great hotel near everything you would want with friendly staff and a great roof top pool I really recommend this hotel.

A fabulous find. Staff were awfully warm, breakfast was such a win! Only negative is that it is a fair walk from shops but there are free tuktuks outside the hotel. Will definitely stay again!

What a beautiful hotel to get to after a long trip and the buzzling noise of Bangkok! Such nice staff and great breakfast with eggs, breads, fruit, yoghurt and typical Thai food. The pool on the rooftop is nice, especially at night with a beautiful skyline view. Prizes for food are a bit overpriced and not much local food but totally OK. Free tuktuk ride to a few stops. Would definitely book again. Unfortunately my nice glasses got stolen on the first day at the pool. When we went up the same day they were not there : (

Rooms are very neat and spacious, staff is very welcoming and helpful. Tuk-tuk service to main road is provided, complimentary welcome drinks from the minibar are available. Breakfast has some room for improvement (more local Thai specialties instead of old sausages, fruit was very bland), but overall a good experience.

It's small but nicely appointed for a discerning travellers. Down side is access.
