Mafia SPA hotels

Just left after 5 days. Hotel is lovely. William is a excellent manager, always asking if everyone is OK. We did have a problem with the shower 1-2 times, he got it fixed within the hour.

Butiama Beach Lodge, is the perfect Island getaway, after two weeks on safari on the mainland. Mafia Island is very easy to get to, with just a short 30 minute flight, from Dar es salaam.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived.

We found this was the best place to stay while in Mafia for diving at Dive Planet next door. Rooms were comfy and air conditioned.

Mussa is the best host and welcome you as part of the family.

The Lodge is very very nice, the gardens and the landscape in general is gorgeous, you can see the owners take lot of care for details.

Earlier this year (February) we visited Mafia island on an almost 2 week long trip and stayed at the lodge the entire time.

Went today to do the whale sharks it was probably the best experience me and my girlfriend have ever had. The crew is so nice and really want you to have a good time.

Great guides and service throughout. Felt lucky to go with them across 7 days to see the whale sharks. Saw sharks every day and loved spending time out on the water.

Our stay in Mafia Beach Bungalow was amazing.
The bungalows are simple but super cozy. If you look for a 5 star luxury accommodation you are definitely wrong here.

We were so happy that we found that beautiful place so close to the beach and ocean. Bungalows have a great tropical vibe, Ally the host is very helpful, offer good tours with good prices.
