Hotels in Mafia Island with a Pool

Stayed in the ocean view lodge. Amazing view, modern and spacious rooms. Always clean and service was top notch.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

We have had an absolutely wonderful stay at Butiama Beach Lodge and it has been one of the real highlights of our trip to Tanzania.

I visited this location for lunch. I wish I had stayed here while I was on Mafia Island. The food was fantastic; probably the best non-Swahili food I had on the island.

Mafia Dream was the perfect place to celebrate my Birthday. From the moment we arrived, I felt genuinely well looked after by both the management and staff.

Super comfortable stay! The staff were very hospitable. Special thanks to Hamidu for helping us with all the arrangements.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Alex and team looked after us so well. They organised all the tours for us, with the standout seeing whale sharks in the wild.

We stayed at Kileleni for ten nights and enjoyed our time there immensely. The resort is small but has a beautiful infinity pool.

A corner of peace, a beautiful small resort where every room is carefully maintained — very different from the large resorts that offer anonymous luxury.

The Lodge is very very nice, the gardens and the landscape in general is gorgeous, you can see the owners take lot of care for details.

An affordable little paradise, far away from everything! Excellent staff, delicious food, amazing design, barefoot luxury and the most beautiful sunsets.

Fantastic stay at the Banja Amani Lodge with my son (15 y. O. ). They gave each of us a bungalow, great set-up, right on the beach… ok, there is also a very nice large pool!

What a wonderful place with very friendly staff! We stayed there for 11 nights in December 2025 and were absolutely happy.

We stayed at PolePole for 10 days — it was fantastic! Great location, luxury barefoot vibes and superb food with an Italian touch. Everybody was very friendly and service oriented.

After a Kilimanjaro hike I wanted to relax a few days and do some diving. Dive Planet turned out to be the more than perfect place for this! It was great!

The dive center and resort Dive Planet is a top location for a wonderful vacation. The entire complex is set in beautiful surroundings with shady palms and trees.

We last visited Chole more than a decade ago.

Chole Mjini Lodge is heaven on earth. It offers an abundance of magical experiences to last one a lifetime.

Had a beautiful stay here while visiting mafia! The people honestly made the stay so incredible, they were friendly and welcoming and are the reason I will be returning!

Located at Kilindoni, it’s hardly 9 minutes from the airport.
This beach front Lodge is a Gem amongst others on the same Seashore you can enjoy the Seaview on their beach beds or the swinging beds.
