Goodtimewithfar House

Far was the absolute best. He helped us with everything related to transportation, planning, and just having a great time in Moshi and Arusha. His stay was awesome and I’d recommend Far to everyone!

Far was an excellent host! He organized our entire trip for us: 7 day Mount Kilimanjaro hike, 3 day safari, all of our transportation, several meals, and even a walking tour around Moshi when we had a few extra hours to spend before our flight. Truly a hospitable trip organizer and host. I highly recommend anyone who is planning a trip around Moshi and/or Arusha to organize through Far. He will be able to help you with all of your needs and create a seamless experience for you and your travels to Tanzania!

Far’s house is an amazing place to stay for anyone visiting Moshi! I travelled with 4 other friends and Far was able to organize our entire trip; including a 7 day Mount Kilimanjaro hike, 3 day safari out of Arusha, accommodation in Arusha, all of our transportation, several meals, and even a last minute walking tour of Moshi when we had a few hours to spend before our flight. Far is extremely accommodating and makes everything so easy to plan without having to worry about all the logistics of all your travel plans. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in Tanzania!

Far is incredible. He made what could have been a hectic and difficult trip so easy and relaxing. From coordinating rides (HUGE stress-saver), to providing delicious and robust meals, Far does it all.
In addition to well scheduled plans, Far was able to adjust for our needs as they changed making the trip so seamless as we decided to alter plans and add adventures.
The home stay is incredibly clean and comfortable and feels safe at all times. I cannot recommend Far enough, he made our busy East African adventure unbelievably simple and relaxing.

Across all my travels, I have never had a more helpful and friendly host than Far. He has connected us with a great guide+crew for the Kili hike, kept some of our bags whilst we were on the mountain, and provided amazing support during our time in Moshi for any request or question we had. The House is a peaceful paradise, and the breakfast is exceptional. A blend between hotel and homestay that I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Moshi!

Goodtimewithfar is really good place we stayed with my 3 friends for 7. The house is clean and safe, the food were really good and price is fair. Alot of thanks to far he received us well and he is really nice guy and friendly he make us think about come back to Moshi again. I will really recomend anyone who is looking for a cool place to stay.

I liked everything. FAR is a special person so sensitive and friendly and will do absolutely anything to make you feel safe and at home. Plus the room was so clean and well decorated and the mattress was high quality and super comfortable with a mosquito net. The common area is also very beautiful with a large tv. The breakfast was homemade and delicious with fresh fruits and Moka coffee (hard to find in Tanzania). The location is easily reachable by the local taxis. It is a safe and quiet area. It was a good time with Far indeed!

I have never had such a wonderful experience with a homestay owner as I did with Far. He is genuinely committed to making your time in Moshi as enjoyable as possible. Far accompanied us on trips in and around Moshi, making us feel extremely comfortable and safe throughout our stay. I learned so much about Tanzania from him that I wouldn't have otherwise.
Far is always available to help with planning day trips, safaris, or even a hike up Kilimanjaro. His house is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was one of the many highlights of our stay.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and will truly miss this place.
Asante sana, Far!

I totally loved this hostel. It was one of the best places I have ever stayed (compared to all places in the world I've been to).
The place is clean, nice, and has a great atmosphere given also by the host — Far. He is charismatic, cares deeply about making guests happy, takes them on trips, recommends local spots to see, and helps you with transport, logistics, and everything.
I miss this place already.

Far is by far the most welcoming, lovely thoughtful host! I instantly felt at home.
Very tasteful house, and super comfy bed.
He arranged a day trip to the hot springs for me, went out together like pals and suggested other things to do in the area.
Breakfast was great also!
Many thanks!

We spent one night at Far‘s beautiful place that is decorated with so much love to detail. Breakfast is served outside in the lovely garden lounge.
Far is an exceptionsl host who really wants you to feel at home. He organized a beautiful candle-light dinner in a restaurant in town for us. He also arranged a day trip to the nearby waterfalls/coffee plantation and a walking tour in Moshi (transport, guide included) for a reasonable prize. We highly recommend you to stay at Far‘s guesthouse!

Far has a great place with comfortable beds, a cozy garden and good breakfast. He cares about his guests and helps organise trips and/or transport. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Only point to improve is the Wi-Fi, but that’s probably not the most important when you’re travelling to Tanzania!

The house is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of the city. There are several comfortable rooms here. Staying with Far involves close interaction with the host. He prepares breakfasts, is easy to talk to, knows a lot about the attractions near Moshi and Arusha, and can organize safaris and tours.
In addition to a small dining room, the house has a shared living room, a veranda, and a big gazebo bar where you can spend time outdoors.
Far is a gracious and caring host, and it is a pleasure to deal with him.

Far is an exceptional host. He is very attentive and makes you feel valued as a guest.
The guesthouse itself is both pristine and homely and just a short TukTuk ride away from the centre of Moshi.
The breakfast was also great and overall our stay was everything we needed.

A pleasant place in a quiet area of Moshi, perfect for a few nights' stay. The guest house features several rooms, a kitchen, a cozy living room, and a veranda. There's also a spacious gazebo bar with a traditional thatched roof, where you can relax with a glass of wine, play board games, or just chill.
Far not only manages the comfortable house and serves breakfasts but also enjoys showing guests around the town. He can organize a tour to any interesting location in the area, from the waterfalls on Kilimanjaro to the national parks.
A special highlight of Far's guest house is that on clear days, you can see Kilimanjaro right from the veranda.

Staying at Far's house is staying at spotless clean place with a nice breakfast but most of all feeling relaxed and at home. Far's hospitality is outstanding and inviting to join for activities. He goes out of the way for you to help explore Moshi, organise activities such as visiting the coffee farm, waterfalls or the hot springs and clearly likes showing you around. Definitely recommend staying with Far for anyone who likes a relaxed atmosphere while seeing Moshi. He also organized for us to climb the kilimanjaro and went to great effort to make it all run smoothly as possible.

Far is simply a lovely host. His house is beautiful and cozy. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. He’s very well connected in Moshi and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. He’s helped me find certain places in the market, shown me great restaurants, taken me on night out (go to karaoke with him), and arranged various day trips for me and my friends. There’s nowhere in moshi I can recommend more.
