3-Star Hotels in Taipei Municipality3*

Excellent service, great location, and a very comfortable stay.

Glad to be back here again. Simple, no frills hotel with good breakfast and excellent location. 1min walk to the metro, which is just outside the hotel and with the best bakery just next door.

Stayed here for about a week. Amazing hot springs. Perfect water temperature and view. You must get the park view!

Wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and even upgraded my room, which was such a pleasant surprise.

Our stay here was great. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms were very clean, tidy, and a good size for around 2 people.

We stayed At Dandy Hotel, Tianmu branch, in February 2025 for five days. We loved the location (I lived in Taipei for 12 years) and I remember when this hotel was being built.

The front desk staff are extremely helpful and made this hotel feel very classy. Shuttle service was handy. Rooms are old fashioned but cosy. The big spring wasn’t open but the in room bath was great.

Quirky onsen hotel on the hill above Xinbeitou, about 15 minutes walk from the MRT station. Super friendly staff, comfy and clean rooms with kitschy decor. The breakfast is great.

The booking experience was slightly anxious as most hotels would have pricing and booking available 6 months in advance, but this hotel was only available 2 months out.

Stayed for 4 days 3 nites. The room was clean with 2 big comfy king size beds and a big clean toilet, reasonably size seating area and bathroom.

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Nice hotel all room are clean and also they have big place for business meetings.

The stay was quite good 👍👍 The rooms were small for me since I had a lot of luggage and brought my family along but I think it will be great for just one or two people.

Great for a short stay.

We came as a family from India, stayed for one week. The rooms are spacious, clean! Morning breakfast is very filling. Prices are affordable. Very accessible area. The best thing is the staff.

We stayed at Taipei Charming Hotel as a family of five and had a great experience. The room and bathroom were spacious, which made a big difference for our family, and we loved the view of Taipei 101.

Stayed there for a bit more than a week. Wasn't impressed by the lobby as it's very small and cramped. The hotel is not new. Service is good.

Grand Forward Hotel is superbly located next to Fuzhong Station in Banqiao, with shopping areas and night markets just steps away.

I liked this hotel. It is beautifully located in the Ximending area. The reception staff were all well-organised, polite and respectful. My room was alright with a bathtub. I liked that.

Highly recommend this hotel at ximending. It’s a small cozy room for only SGD $20-$30 per night.

Perfect for a very short layover of 1-2 nights! but not for more.
Service and friendlyness of the staff: great.
Location:
Hotel is in a small side street, lots of night activities around.

Had a fantastic time here and really appreciate the staff who took care of me when I was unwell. Shoutout to Penny and a few other female counter staff who were so attentive and nice!

Location was just a few minutes walk from the Xinbei station.

Booking type: 90min private hot spring without bed. Hot and cold separated tubs.
Cost: TWD 1100 weekday.
Front desk was helpful and carefully explain the different packages available for the day.

A very convenient location, on the 13th floor of a mix-use building. Lots of businesses and shops nearby, and easy to get around. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is located in a same building of a night club yet the room remains quiet. Regarding the room:
— The pillow is average quality but does its job properly.

We were met and greeted straight away by the receptionist who came out and helped us with the luggage as soon as our taxi arrived.

Spending 3 weeks here. A bit expensive, but hey we got 2 bedrooms and a living room. Location is super convenient. Got a great park nearby. Good value!

I had a very pleasant stay at The Place Taipei during the Smart City Summit & Expo 2026. Here are my thoughts:
1) Location & Ambiance: The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean, and very inviting.

The staff is very professional and helpful. Great customer service attitude.
The facilities are confortable, modern.
Breakfast is delicious, reasonable variety of the menu.

This hotel is the Best and really good as the Name, The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet, The location is so Close with Raohe Street Night Market.

This view i’ve taken from 9th floor of the building, which is three floors above Best Hotels. The video was taking on Taiwan National 10/10 Day’s fireworks at Taipei 101 and it’s so clear from here!

We absolutely loved our time at the Waterfront Hotel and would 110% stay here again. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was moderately firm — very comfortable. We slept so good!

Room is decent and in the right size, we're able to open up two big luggages. Bathroom door is designed to be half transparent. So you can clearly see what the other half is doing inside.

We booked 3 rooms for a group of 8 people for a 3 night stay.
The hotel is on level 8 and 10 of a dated building.
The room condition is quite ok but not very sound proof.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help at all times. Large and very comfortable bed, with air conditioning and humidifier!

We just sleep here for a night so the review will just be based on little experience, we didn't eat breakfast for our flight is very early, the place is a little bit far from ximenting but walk-able,

It's roughly 8 — 10 minutes walk to Ximending so not close not far kind of situation. Rooms are not fancy but clean and good enough, no amentities only shampoo and shower gel and tissues.

Our room (think, it was the highest of its sort on the 8th floor) was okay. It was clean and quite comparable to a typical Super 8 king-bed.

Hotel location is somewhat in the middle of everything, but there is no porch for taxis. So if its raining u just have to get on the cab roadside.
Service staffs are perfect, room is perfect too.

For a mid level hotel at a reasonable price, this hotel is an excellent deal. Nice sized rooms with Japanese toilets, large deep bath tub in addition to the shower.

The room is so spacious but plug-in is not enough. The air condition cannot control by each room. Their breakfast is the best. Change some dishes daily.
