Room is small so noisy, but the waiter is excellent, but also help me carry the luggage on the 5 floor, backpack room to provide towel toothbrush, the overall is quite good.

The good: Very close to the Taipei Main Station and Bus Terminal. Spacious dorm with comfortable beds. Very nice working area with a small balcony to sit outside. Good kitchen with cooking opportunities and equipped with everything one needs to prepare food. I got a small towel, one 0, 5 L bottle of water as well as toothbrush and paste. There is free fresh coffee from a coffee-Vollautomat, which grinds the beans and coffee milk on offer. Free orange juice (orange sugar water with orange-lemonade flavour) as well as hot, warm and cold drinking water. The bad: There is only one bathroom including toilet for 6 people in the mixed dorm. The location doesn’t offer a lot of eateries or shopping opportunities and is a bit aside from the sights and going-out-area. The public area with the kitchen is only open until 12 AM. Conclusion: I would have stayed longer but the dorms were booked out.

Great location, amazing hardworking staff, great facilities including Wi-Fi and laundry, spotless linen. No elevator can disadvantage differently able/injured. Unfortunately, the rule against flushing toilet paper makes an otherwise awesome stay slightly awkward.

If there is no demand for living, this is very push, calculate clean, just a little space, the MRT station is very near very convenient.

A nice choice to stay if you want an affordable place to stay in Taipei, and its very convenient to explore taiwan from this Hostel, it's near Taipei Metro and near Taipei High Speed Rail to any place in Taiwan.

I liked the stay, the Main Inn granted my request for a quite room and for my upper deck request. Will definitely come back soon. What I really liked the most is the smiles and greetings of the staffs! Keep it up!

Close to the station, very friendly to cyclists, service is intimate, rooms are clean and comfortable, each bed has a Universal plug can be recharged.

Definitely the smelliest hostel in Taiwan! The air doesn't really flow. The room, restroom and common area all smell funny. And I believe they have hired a really good photographer, coz the actual space doesn't look like any of the photos online at all.

Sooo good the staff and the rooms are always clean and the location is perfect to navigate around Taipei.

Excellent location, very close to Taipei Main Station. However there isn't an elevator and rooms are a bit dim.

The rooms are small and cramped (which is to be expected for city center area) but the rooms are cosy and clean. But most importantly, their staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the here service is top notch. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. It's also just in front of Huayin St where you can shop and eat.

Cosy and convenient. Accessible via Y13 exit. No elevator though. Those with large luggage may face some challenges going up and down to the lobby. Guests are required to leave your room keys with the receptionist.

Stayed in a 4-bed female dorm on the 5th floor — really helpful and friendly staff who insisted on carrying my luggage up (there's no elevator) despite my objections! The room is really narrow — the 3 other girls in my dorm had really huge suitcases and there was absolutely no way we could open our suitcases all at the same time. The room is also really dark so ladies, you won't really be able to see what you're putting on your face… BUT the bed itself is decent and the toilet is actually quite big too. Also the location is perfect! Especially for those who are taking the train to the airport — it's connected to the y13 exit. Since I paid just about 350 NTD for a night's stay, I would say it's really good value and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for a night's stay.

Very close to Main station, go out at Y13 exit, walk around 30seconds, I arrived the Main Inn Taipei. It is super convenient. But only suit for backpacker with small baggedge, cuz no elevator. Room a bit tiny but clean and I can have good privacy.

Clean, cheap, convenient, and has amazing staff!

Comfortable bed, blackout curtains, quiet environment, powerful heated shower and clean rooms. Moreover, main train station entrance at door step and many eating places and convenient stores nearby. Definitely is an excellent rest stop for your next destination.

Nice, cosy hotel located in a prime location near Taipei Main Station. Small rooms but not lacking of amenities. This was my second stay and I would recommend to my friends visiting Taipei!

Stayed in this local chain hotels a few time. It's main advantage is very close to Taipei Main train station. And it's also near to the bus station that take you to the airport. The hotel front desk personal will always greet you when they see you. Room are clean and beds is comfortable. There is a drinks machine at 2nd floor that you can make fresh coffee from coffee bean. Cold milk tea and cold lemon tea from drink machine. It's free. Microwave oven to heat up your food and fridge to keep your food fresh.

November last year We stay 3 weeks in HOPE HOTEL. The room is just perfect with nice real bed. Clean room. Nice bathroom. Very close to Taipei main station. also have Washing machine and dryer that we can do ours own laundry. The staff are very helpful. Friendly and the cleaning service lady's too. early next month we will come back to Taiwan again. And so sure we will stay in HOPE HOTEL again. See you soon Hope Hotel.

Room is tiny but enough for a comfortable stay. The television comprises a lot of films to spend your night!

Is Taipei a close to the metro station to the accommodation. Charges also can, service good.

Even to the friends of guests, counter staff went beyond the call of duty to assist them and extend their hospitality. Excellent service!

I just did my reservation with Main Inn. All the staff that I contact through email and chats are very polite and helpful. I can tell that they did all their best to meet my needs, cause i'm quite curious, very to details and have lotsa question but they replied me one by one patiently. I'm very satisfied with my bookings and ill be looking forward to stay in this hotel! Thank you Eddy & Heidi!

Very friendly staff to greet us at the counter every time we step into the hotel. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Comes with washing machine service thus it's very suitable for backpackers who visit Taipei.

I do NOT recommend this accommodation to anyone at all.
It's dirty, small and especially the service wise the staff are very unfriendly which put me off down right at the start and then also AGAIN at the checkout time.
I can not think of any worse experience than this place…
BAD! BAD! BAD! Really angry. First time I want to come on FB to warn other people for coming. Do not get tricked!

The price is expensive a little too easy to access also.
