Good location with excellent quality of rooms. Service is also very prompt. They have got 3 restaurants namely buffet, Japanese and Cantonese. Food quality they serve is great. Overall this is nice place to stay but bit expensive. Check if you can get some deals.

Great restaurant options. Little far from Tainan train station. There is, however, a free High Speed Rail shuttle service to/from the HSR station. Just walk across the cultural center to where the regular bus stop is. About 40 min ride to HSR station. Just make sure to take the Chimei Hospital bus route, and NOT the City Center shuttle.

Very good hotel … really five star. Hospitatality, room quality, pool, gym, sauna, kids room, kids friendly service… within acceptable price. Must stay.

We stayed at this beautiful well-maintained hotel a few times in the past few years. Almost every time we visited Tainan we would try to stay there if the price was right. The most recent stay was in April 2015 as always was a very pleasant experience. They gave us a nice room 711 on the 7th floor with a partial blocked view of Tainan City. The room was spacious with two double beds, a huge bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. The room was clean, comfy and quiet that we had good night sleep during our stay. In addition to the nice kept amenities, this hotel also offer something extra: fresh fruits, snacks, free bottles of water, nice slippers and bathrobes etc. … The best part of our stay was the complimentary breakfast buffet! The buffet restaurant was really huge with lots of comfort seats and wide variety of food choices that should satisfy everyone and we really enjoyed it during our stay. We used the huge and beautiful outdoor pool this time and loved it. Just a reminder that a swim cap is mandatory to use the pool. And for the hot tub, ladies and gentlemen are separated and need to be naked. We read the sign at the entrance of the spa and decided not to use the hot tub at this time, but just so you know that was the common traditional Japanese style of Spa experiences. Another great thing worth mention of this hotel was the staff. They were always polite, prompt and willing to help.

Quality Stay and Exceptional Staff Ping checked us in early at around 1pm without any problem. We got a room on the 9th floor with a pretty good view of Tainan City. The room was modern, spacious, and very quiet with a good size bathroom and had many updated amenities like in room safe, fridge, large LCD TV, tea kettle and two free bottles of water in room. Complimentary in-room Wi-Fi internet was also included. This Evergreen hotel got a very pretty outdoor swimming pool and a huge Jacuzzi on site. We put on our swimming suits and went there but we didn’t use it since we didn’t bring our swimming hats/caps which were mandatory in order to enter the pool/Jacuzzi. We will definitely use it next time if possible since the pool looked really beautiful and designed somewhat liked an endless pool. There’re so many hard working and exceptionally friendly staff in this hotel, most of them were so energetic and willing to help if there’s a chance. We really liked it and would recommend this hotel to be a wonderful place to stay while visiting Tainan City and we were so touched by Taiwanese high standard service and good quality people once again. Stayed March 2013, traveled as a couple.
