Chiayi County Hotels

Rooms were pretty much like other hotels, except the toilet which had a leak from the corner of the shower area to the toilet bowl area that was meant to be dry.

I stayed in a dormitory since there were no private rooms available. This was one of the nicest, cleanest, most modern hostels I’ve ever experienced. There were several beautiful common spaces.

We booked the deluxe double room and had a pleasant stay here. Rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was huge with a bathtub.

Old style cabin decoration was warm. The room was spacious and clean. Big and comfortable bed. Convenient location. There were supermarket and convenience store nearby.

A very cosy hostel. Clean rooms and toilet. Bed is simple yet comfortable.
Great for big groups of friends and cheep too.
Location is near the railway station and walkable to night market and shops.

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay. It is conveniently located near easy but breathtakingly beautiful hiking trails, a bus stop and great restaurants.

Newly renovated, it was a bit priceir than the neighbouring hotels but I find it totally worth it compare to some I had stayed before. The family room was brightly lit and clean.

The hotel look newer as compared to the others nearby as it was recently refurbished and well-maintained. Parking was conveniently located right next to the hotel.

Perfectly fine and comfortable room — we were worried about some of the reviews but we had no problems. Great location! Free breakfast was pretty good as well.

This hotel was great for our two nights in Alishan, the location is amazing.

Good breakfast selections! Hotel can place more washers and dryers (chargeable per use) as so many people were waiting all night long.

Stayed at Chiayi Yoyo Hotel (嘉義優遊商旅) and overall had a good experience. The location is super convenient since it’s right in front of Chiayi Train Station, which made getting around really easy.

Had a smooth sailing stay at the Yoyo hotel. Their breakfast buffet was excellent as they specially catered a large selection of vegetarian food for us, which is hard to come by at hotels!

Nice hostel! the rooms are great, services are awesome, and the location is perfect. A top-notch experience all around!

Located a short walk from the train station but I did use Gmaps.
Check in is from 3pm.

I usually am not so into writing reviews but I want to make an exception for the Chuxu homestay.

A lot of delicious Taiwanese typical breakfast dishes to enjoy, if you book through AirBnB. This is a great deal!
The front desk folks were friendly, especially the gentlemen in the evening.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Chiayi Train Station, with 小北百貨 and a 7-11 nearby.

I will miss this place. A heartfelt thank you to Tianyi Homestay for such a memorable and special stay. I enjoyed the tea picking experience and watching fireflies under the moonlight.

My best homestay in Taiwan. Hosts were the nicest you can think of. Even though the owners speak little english, their children do and you can use Google translate if needed.

Super nice accommodation. I highly recommend when going to Alishan. I even prefer Shizhao over Alishan. The nature is more beautiful here.

Our stay at this accommodation was a mixed bag, with the owner's incredible hospitality and knowledgeable guidance contrasting with a disappointing communication breakdown.
