Reception at the reception was poor, services for congress hotel catastrophic, lousy service. During the café break there was a mini café machine for almost 60 people, it did not have enough café cups. The pre-orders which were previously made by e-mail were not ready. If you complained to the General Manager, the answer came that he was not responsible.

Looks cubistic but is still very cozy. Good location with great views over the Aare and old town. Very comfortable beds in my opinion.
Breakfast buffet is rich/varied and good. Dinner with a good wine is recommended.
Friendly and up-and-set staff. We all liked the bar at the top. Thank you.

Very nice hotel. With great view. Very clean and nicely decorated! Why only 2 stars? Unfortunately very unfriendly man at the reception, really a pity! Such a service breaks everything!

Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived at about 11:00 hoping to be able to store our bags before heading into the city and the helpful guy on the front desk found us a room that we could move into right away which shocked us and made us quite happy. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the towels were soft. Our 5th floor room also had a free mini bar and a great view of the river and bridge. Couldn't ask for a better stay, and less than a 5 minute walk from the Solothurn Bahnhof (train station)

A modern Hotel situated right near the centre of Solothurn. Easy access to and from the local railway station. Casual atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The headwaiter Bruno is very funny and you'll be very lucky and happy if you get him to oversee your event.

Terrific staying in this hotel and the seen looks beautiful from the window and all the staff are helpful for any guest. Very nice room and facilities.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. First time I have seen that all drinks in the bar/fridge in the room are included in the price. Breakfast is good too. Note that the food, especially croissants and pan cakesare run out fast. Hotel rooms are very clean.

My third visit to this hotel and I was very impressed. Ideal for business visitors with a good breakfast and large, airy rooms. If you can get a room facing the river you get a really great view of the mountains.

Very nice and modern hotel. The hotel is very central and is very fast on foot in the city or at the main train station. Although the hotel is on the direct main terrace, we didn't hear about the cars. The staff is very friendly and helpful, carry on like this! I can't say anything bad about the food, it was ok and I was fed up.

Perfect for holidays with a dog. You get a blanket provided with Napf and also for breakfast the dog is allowed with. There is nothing negative about the hotel.

Were for dinner at this hotel last night. Very nice location with romantic views of the Aare. We were served by a very friendly and attentive waitress, which impressed us. In addition, the food served was very delicious and it tasted wonderful to us. We are happy to come back and thank you very much!

We booked here for one night. Our room was supposed to be ready at 15, we arrived around 11 to drop our bags and our room was already available. Alexandros was the man helping us for the check in, and he is THE man (awesome guy, working hard, really nice and helpful). All the staff was extremely nice, the position of the hotel was suuuper easy to find (bout 5 minutes walking from the station). The room was very clean and cozy, we had Wi-Fi in the room. Very reccomended.

I stayed 1 night at the H4 Hotel in Solothurn. I am very happy with the excellent service. Friendly staff who even helped me with the parking search and I could then park in the underground garage from the hotel. The beds and mattresses are sensationally cushioned for every back and support very well. I slept like a baby. The blanket from the bed is very fine and cuddly soft. The breakfast is fresh and very versatile. We are the best hotel that includes so much included in the price, where it is just hard to find. Top of Switzerland I would say.

Very nice hotel right on the river Aare overlooking the old town. The décor is top modern, the ideal hotel for business trips. Underground parking, lift, WLAN, mobile phone charging station, restaurant, everything is there, and wheelchair accessible. It simply lacks the charm — nomen est omen.

Just arrived home from being at H4 Saturday nite and just have words of satisfaction about this amazing hotel. Clean, near everything, great hospitality, wonderfull breakfast… although the most important benefit for me was the eternal and big smile offered by everyone involved in attention. The fellow from checking desk solved a situation concerning 5 rooms, not just 1 but 5, in few minutes. That's just a single example. I was hosted there along with La Candela Salsa Orchestra, young salsa band we represent, who performed at Solothurner Latin Festival past weekend.
It has been an amazing experience and recommend H4 Hotel Solothurn to everyone who want to enjoy cordiality and confort. Look forward to visit it again in the near future. Thanks as lot!

Very nice hotel — good location and lots of Parking-Space. Rooms are perfect and small but very good Spa. I can recommend this hotel.

At the 7th floor there is a really nice bar with a fantastic view on the Aare river, the old city and the cathedral. Good cocktails and wine, but limited choice for snacks.

Noble Building and interior decoration. Nice bar with great views. Great spa. We've been celebrating my father's birthday at the H4 Hotel for four years. I like to come. 1.1.18 also downstairs in the restaurant there is good coffee, espressos and an incredibly good flame cake. I can also recommend the burger with fries.
Unfortunately, the double espresso did not poured a still water, but is a detail.
Friendly staff and many young employees as well as learners.

Good location and nice breakfast after that pretty poor I was staying in a business room it was not clean when I first went in the receptionist was nice and apologized second evening when I returned the window was wide open and it was — 3 outside took along time for the room to warm up also parking is very poor.

Very good experience but I do not give the best value for money.

The steak with fries in the restaurant was out of this world. Rest of my stay was 5 star. Recommendable.

For a short trip it is OK, the rooms are modern and cosy.
The location is perfect for the train station and you have a super beautiful view!
However, the staff is not able to clean up the room, despite hanging the sign and multiple mention at the lobby.
There were using bottles of front visitors.

Value for money a bit overrated but you don't always have a choice. No possibility to book a single room. On the other hand, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We sat at the terrace with a beautiful view of both the river and the city and the service was great.

Contemporary Style Pretty Cold.

Amazing room, bed is very comfortable, spacious living, window view is incredible. Rooftop bar is very cool, breakfast is delicious with many choices, main bar is very nice. Room service was very helpful and was there to take care of me — regardless of where I was from. DEFINITELY would recommend staying here!

Not terrible, the offer is promising the disappointing reality.

Due to a double booking we were downgraded from a suite to a double room, which was unfortunate. The room did however have a great view of the river and we were also given free breakfast as compensation. The spa area charges 5 CHF for 10 minutes in the jacuzzi, which we also felt was a bit cheap of them. Location is great. Free parking.

Great reception, warm. Not speaking German, we managed to understand each other (often with humour).
The meal of the 31st was just perfect.
The room for my taste and decorated soberly. Clean, perfect bathroom.
The breakfast served in the buffet was well stocked and with really fresh products.
I keep in mind a perfect nickel stay.
For my new search for hotels, I will look at the Ramadas first

Solothurn is a very pleasant town and the location of the hotel and the ambience was a nit fit. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Ramada.

Good solid hotel with nice and friendly service.

One of our favorites! We frequent Solothurn for business and pleasure, and always prefer this property. Suites on upper floors have a dreamy view of beautiful Solothurn. Nice spa facilities. Excellent customer service.

The restaurant on the ground floor is surprising good.

It's a Ramada. No iron in a standard room. Reasonably clean (fluffy storage space in room). Functional room, nicely designed. Bed is comfy. Not bad, not exceptional.

Well-located, this great hotel offers very good rooms for suitable prices. Unfortunately I'm not very fond of shower curtains.

3th Time at the Ramada and, unfortunately, this time not so top. To a room in a higher floor asked about the view from the bridge (road) to minimize. Room (113) on the first floor on a level with the street. The room was not thoroughly cleaned, hair in the bathroom, etc Also could be the room an Update to tolerate, the TV hangs scief and the temperature control is almost falling from the wall. We were due to the shortcomings of the tax paid. Nevertheless, I would be in the next Time, to another room insistence. Since it really is top-rooms.

As it was our first trip to Switzerland and we had a very nice experience during our stay in your hotel. Your hotel is very nice with all the required facilities available. Breakfast was very good. During our stay at hotel we didn't face any problems and we'll try to come back to you next year during the basel show. Thank You. :).

Room comfortable and nice view. Room service fast and efficient.
The redhairs receptionist could have been more interested and also smiling, that what we expect of this kind of place.

For a 4 star hotel a disappointment.
1. The light in the bathroom did not work.
2. When this is fixed, we were not informed in advance. As we returned to the already-related rooms, the cleaning lady and the janitor in the middle of the room was just standing.
3. The television had a fuzzy picture, very bad TV could be watched from the bed.
4. The carpet was very stained and ugly, that horrifies's Barefoot from the bathroom to the wardrobe.
5. The head wall covered with wallpaper of the bed, was repaired with Scotch tape adhesive strip.
6. In the morning buffet, there is no Frischgepressten juices, you could watch as was refilled with Tetrapack.
7. The mini bar is not in the hotel room, found an empty cooling Schranz with reference, that there is a MAXI-BAR on the course. Actually a large Selectautomat, which swallows no notes.
When you book a deluxe room, you expect something different from a 4 star hotel. 2016 is the next test for the award of the star, I suppose, that until then everything will be all right.

Nice and clean good food.

We had booked a suite, it was all super, room was huge and had everything we needed, even a large fridge. The only minor disadvantage: carpet flooring in the room had quite a few stains, why only 4 stars. Great bar with beautiful views of the city.

Really good hotel. It is in a quite nice building, that even if it contrast with the rest of the city, it match with the idea or the city. Prices are a bit expensive, but it worth at least to go until the last floor and have a drink in the bar.

I went to this hotel for several years. Unfortunately, my electronic data have disappeared (German stone age computer? ) The reception, cool, friendly, turned out as rather complicated, cash in advance about possible (after all, 1048 — sFr), occupied a reserved garage, next face way on the other side of the Aare in the public P, ideal for a slightly handicapped person.
Ordered two Deluxe rooms with view of the River Aare, one to get the other only after vigorous intervention! Floor carpets with holes 407/408 Zi and Zi toilet bowl damaged and make-up mirror loose. Too expensive for the sensational view of the Aare.
At the breakfast, Mrs Siegenthaler 5star was worth.

Great! So the summary. Have spent a full request (Valentines) weekend in a superior room. High above the rooftops of Solothurn; directly on the Aare River. Small — but fine Spa area with attentive staff. Great menu (from "cheap" to solid). The Crown is the breakfast buffet; no wish (up on the champagne ;-) ) remained open. Way to go — we come back! T. Lovely hotel with good service. Majestic view on the catedral and on the mountains straight from the SPA.

Two years ago, we were there with an Aldi action. Great hotel, beautiful location, fine dining. The wellness offer could be slightly better, enough (for the price). We come back hopefully soon!
PS: Aldi tours has the RAMADA Solothurn always on sale! A super action! Without, it's perhaps a little too expensive. Especially the food.
