The staff are very friendly and the envirnment is clean.

We felt very comfortable and do not regret for a minute that we did not fly abroad for the holidays.

A good stay overall. We particularly noticed how helpful, accommodating and friendly the junior concierge was. The staff from the spa were very friendly. The food was excellent at La Terasse. The wait staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. I guess with a hotel this big, I miss the personal touch, the warmth, and little things I would normally get from a luxury hotel but of a lesser size. One disappointing experience in housekeeping which I reported but was not acted upon even after 1 email and 2 personal visits to the reception. We are leaving the hotel without it being addressed.

Great historical hotel with great service.

Staff are all so friendly and helpful! Very attentive and all were well spoken. My room at level 4 are so spacious and neat when check in 18 Sep 2019.3 pax stayed normally is a bit too small but they gave me a large room which surprised my family. So happy and blessed to be here.

We were given an upgraded room which had beautiful dark cloth wall covering and was quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable and house keeping quite thorough. The pool has to be seen to be believed… the architecture and decoration are stunning. Be sure not to miss the indoor/outdoor salt water hot tub, too. Though we did not dine at a hotel restaurant, their catering for our events was quite good, and if you did not see something at the breakfast buffet the staff was efficient at accommodating your request. This was a top-tier establishment in every sense.

Hotel is great, I think the best in the area, great location on the main road, has a history, lobby is spacious and colourful, great helpful smiley staff. I booked a king bed room but I got twin bed closed to each other so I was not that happy. Room service is great and fast. Hospitality is very nice. In general go for it if you are a couple want to stay for three days. Price is bit high but due to the name of the hotel and its location.

Great location with awesome views. Lobby area very beautiful. Pool and spa were great. Rooms were ok. The beds were horrible, with 2 small pillows and a really hard mad mattress. There was no air conditioning, especially since we were going through a heat wave. We complained two times about our neighbors upstairs and how much noise was being made at 3am, front desk simply said that they didn’t know which room was above us so they couldn’t help?!?! Wow, this is a first! Our phone systems weren’t working, every time I tried calling front desk, an answering machine would pick up and say something in German. When we told the front desk this, they said they would take care of it. No surprise, nothing happened. All in all, for $500-$600 per night, this place is absolutely NOT worth it. Spend your money elsewhere.

Concierge and reception are both good, food from Italian Resturant are very well as well, I like those waitresses there, but the guy who dark grey suits and led us to the table was kinda impolite. The only thing I felt not well was there are no air con in the room, I was not able to sleep because it was really hot unless I opened all the windows.

Perfect stay in a refined place with a magnificent view of the Jungfrau. Excellent restaurant sapori. Recommend it without reservation.

Höheweg is one of the main streets of Interlaken. The street is built up mainly by buildings of old, beautiful hotels, which corresponds to the standard of the spa town. The Victoria Hotel was built in 1864 – 1865. The east wing with a tower was erected in 1899 in the hotel since 1870 the water pipe began to operate, and since 1885 the internal telephone has started to work. Hotel "Jungfrau" was built in 1885 – 1895. Today the buildings of both hotels are combined in a single complex with entrance-visor.

Just fantastic. Competent, friendly staff. Beautiful spacious and modern rooms. And the spa is simply the hammer.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… The spa is one of the best I have ever visted (And I have visited a lot) but the rest of the hotel was slightly underwhelming. The rooms are undergoing renovation, however I was in one that was not yet done and it was mediocre at best. I found lots of dust around the room, on top of wardrobes and on the floor under tables etc. The bathrooms are also extremely old but the deep bathtub was nice. On the food front, it is standard quality and price for Switzerland. Breakfast was good. Dinner was ok but expensive for what it was. As I said this is standard in switzerland and if you are non Swiss you would probably be quite shocked. Overall I would revisit but only once full renovations are done and I could guarantee a better room.

Only used spa, didn't stay at the hotel (although it looks beautiful). Spa was lovely. Charming people, delightful massages, yummy soup for lunch and nice pool and hot tub area. Would definitely go back, worth every penny!

Beautiful grand old hotel with a lot of charm. Excellent French restaurant. Very pricey though.

Friendly staff, refined setting.

This Victoria hotel is one of the best hotel in Interlaken. You feel very special, you get royal treatment. And icey mountain in front of hotel. You can see famous Jungfrau from hotel by binoculars. There is big ground in front of hotel. And so many branded watches showrooms. They provide texi service for casino behind that hotel. It's really nice stay over there. Interlaken is at center from Zurich and Bern.

Best ambiance. Great service. Pianist. Has earned its 5 stars.

The places encourage relaxation thanks to a cosy atmosphere, without being too staid either. Cozy but not stifling. The service is very attentive at the hotel. Our suite was well maintained (a bit dilapidated perhaps), clean, spacious, equipped with a giant bed, 2 TVs, a shower and a bathtub, in short everything you need and more. Fruit and water were waiting for us when we arrived. For the view of the Jungfrau, it was necessary to wait for the sun the next day.
The night was quiet and the room was very well heated (it was winter).
At the spa is pure relaxation. There is a wide range of treatments available, profusion loungers, a/silence rest area and a large heated swimming pool with outdoor space as well. The class.
The paperwork was quick, the care is neat, the parking is not overpriced, the hotel is well located. In short: excellent hotel.

Great hotel with very classy rooms and interiors. The mountain views are unbelievable and the hotel’s location is perfect. Helpful staff as well. Room service menu was a bit limited but there are plenty of eating joints nearby.

For me only 1 star, Operation put the wine with glasses just on the table. In advance we had a round of coffee, the cream we would have to fetch at the bar although the waitress forgot it and promised to deliver it.
All in all, outside Hui and inside?

My family and I had a few drinks here (we did not stay overnight). The different ballrooms were absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated for Christmas when we were there. We liked the live piano music a lot. Beer prices are totally reasonable still — we had a wonderful time here. Great service too. Wonderfully located centrally in Interlaken. Very imposing, and the exterior slightly less so than the interior.

“The hotel was super nice. Enjoyed at every corner of the Hotel that offers breathtaking view of mountains”. The atmosphere was warm and I loved it, and the food was delicious. The selection of wines was very impressive. Perfect special night out for us — delicious cuisine, good wines and friendly service. Great charming Italian restaurant with high level of service. The food was traditional and high quality. The wood-fired bread oven is a focal point of the enchanting restaurant, as are the extensive selection of wines by the glass and notable vintages, displayed by the entrance.

The staff and service was very accommodating however, our room and bed was absolutely awful. When the gentleman showed us our room in the dark room I thought it was a bit odd, upon his departure, I realized that the lights I wanted to turn on were already on! I cannot believe that this place prides itself on being 5 stars! It is supremely overrated. Beware, They falsely advertised their rooms! We were put in a very dark (the lights were so dim we couldn’t see our belongings) and outdated room with unmovable curtains and stained old carpet. It felt like a haunted house, creepy old and smelly wallpaper in all! See photos! The bed was so uncomfortable that we could not even sleep at night. It was the worst box spring I could hear the metal sound echo whenever I moved. We had requested a king bed upon booking (normally in Switzerland it is 2 twin beds squished together but for a five-star resort we expected them to accommodate at least a padded sheet on the bed that can join the gap in between as was promised upon checking in) however it was not although it was said they would accommodate for turn down service. My husband and I ended up leaving a day earlier than expected, despite being charged in full because of the horrible room. It is extremely misleading as they show images of beautiful rooms with hardwood floors. What is going on here?

Stayed here July 2016, what a stunning place… 4 Adult with for motorcycles, secure parking. Lovely beer lovely scenery. Yet get what you pay for. Stunning.

Upscale Hotel with great view to the mountains. Located in the heart of Interlaken you can see the paragliders landing in front of the Hotel all the time. There is a spa and big swimming pool available on the underground floor including a large terrace. Highly recommended if you can afford the jet7 lifestyle.

Wonderful hotel and historic with some special touches. The dinner at la terrace waz the highlight, worth every penny. They have a dress code but is not strictly followed.

The best Hotel in Interlaken. From the location to the amenities. The staff from the entrance to the Cafe waiters are all very welcoming and hospitable. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable though it is an old Victorian style hotel. I would not prefer to stay at another place in Interlaken.

Votel interiors is fabulous. In the movie DDLJ there is scene of SRK doing prank with artificial rose with Kajol. That scene is shot in front of this hotel.

La Pastateca is a very stylish yet reasonably priced Italian restaurant. The antipasti buffet is delicious, and the restaurant is very good value.

Nice hotel, very elegant. Rooms were out-dated and had no air-conditioning, but comfortable. Breakfast was very good. View from the front of the hotel is beautiful! Unfortunately, our stay was blemished on our last day as we checked-out. One of our pieces of luggage was taken out of our car right after the bell-boy loaded the car and before we came out to leave. It was a backpack that had an slr camera, laptop, passport, Bible and various other things. There were no video cameras, the hotel said they could do nothing, since one of our traveling members specifically put the backpack in between the two front seats (claiming: they didn't load it). We have suspicion that it was on of the bell-boys himself since there are two service elevator shafts on both sides of the entrance for the bellboys AND because he mysteriously had to "take his break" at 11:00 am (checkout time, when bellboys make all their money). The hotel refused to comp us for our rooms or even give us a complimentary dinner while we had to sort the situation our with the local authorities. Rooms shown in pictures are a much more contemporary than what we were offered. Infinity pool and spa are incredible though.
