The outdoor seating is great in the summer time. My girlfriend got the braised beef and I the Rosti with raclette cheese and multiple meats. Outstanding place to eat and was recommended to us by two locals, super authentic food for the area.

Brilliant location. Excellent service. The rooms are super comfy and the breakfast is good too.

It's okay, the ceiling is very low if you 6 ft tall must be careful your head hehehe.

Staff member was really impolite. I was so disappointed after seeing beautiful sceneries in Jungfrau… It messed up. Staff member bothered us all time during having dinner there. When we pay for it, She threw my card back to me. Not sincerely returing back. If I were in your case, I would rather never get to there in any cases! Re: It was last day of January. 31st, Jan. Rustic feel with a touch of history. Building is over 300 years old so don't expect air-Cond in summer. If you're lucky there are some spare standing fans in the hallway for you to use. We booked the family room which was perfect for 2+2 kids. Breakfast is decent and the little old lady that helps keep the place clean is so cute and friendly. The only drawback for us was the lack of public transport after 8 p. M but Interlaken West and OST is only 20 mins walk away.

An inn in an old farm: a fine thing. The charm of the courtyard and the old wood is paired with the unobtrusive modern chic of the new rooms. Reception and staff of bitter but angenwhmem charm. Breakfast fine as in a farmer's parlour. Price/performance even during unpiled tiptop.

Nice room, great breakfast and very handy for hiking. Buses and trains connect up well.

Restaurant: we went there for a hot stone BBQ. They accommodated out group of 14 very well. Food and especially the meat was ok but below expectations. However, the hot stone BBQ was fun. Great Chalet house.

Nice hotel its made up of all wood. City centre is 8 minutes walking distance quite and clean rooms, enjoyed the stay.

Great location close to main town of Intetlaken good bus links if needed close to both rail stations. Clean well equipped hotel first class hospitality great local food. Highly recommend.

Our 18 day trip through Austria, Germany and Switzerland hit an abrupt road block when we arrived at Interlaken. The staff could not find our reservation. So they bring in the "Chief" who tells me she cancelled my reservation on her own decision. I have her open up her email and there is not only our confirmation mail from earlier that year but an original email from me asking to reconfirm our reservation 1 month prior to our trip. There in writing is my request but she has no answer. So her solution — she makes a call and sends us to a nice "big fancy hotel" where they can accomiodate my family of 5. We show up and the place is a Hostel and the beds are in a common room. (are you kidding me? ). Now at this stage we are screwed. Drove all day from Freiberg and kids are exhausted, so Hostel does bets they can and we pay extra for a 6th bed so we can have a room for at least one night. Then later that night my kids have to be exposed to a bunch of Pot Smiking youth hanging out in the place. Maybe thats OK in Switzerland but certainly not something I wanted my 9 year old daughters to see. Staff and especialy the manager at Hirschen-Interlaken was very rude and had no answers for us. They screwed up and then wouldn't take responsibility. Really ruined our stay in Interlaken and left us very bitter. To any traveler I can only say — look elsewhere or risk the same fate.

Old but quaint rooms, creaky floors, some bathrooms remodeled, adequate size rooms and good location but a moderate walk to either train station. The breakfast was fantastic, the bread expecially! Enjoyed our stay.
