Our first night was incredibly difficult due to the noise. Our room faced a busy street directly above bars and restaurants, and the bells that rang every 15 minutes throughout the night made it nearly impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, a morning beverage delivery truck spent over three hours loading and unloading kegs right outside our window, the noise was relentless.
Thankfully, the staff were extremely responsive and helpful when we asked to change rooms the next day. We were only staying for two nights, and the second room made all the difference. It was significantly quieter, and we were finally able to get a good night's sleep. We truly appreciated how quickly and kindly the staff handled the situation.
Nice small hotel very conveniently located right in the center of the town.
Our room was not large, but confortable and "cute" with its wallpaper of flowers. As it was on the last floor, we could see a bit of the lake from our window.
Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, we went to Monnier, as recommended. It's very close and the breakfast food was delicious.
The hotel staff could have been friendlier. Basically, no one is at the reception.
In the room, it's difficult to plug your phone/computer as the plugs are not conveniently located.
Morat is a cute town to visit (2 days should be enough) with good restaurants, a few cute shops and a beautiful walk by the lake.
