Great location… a delightful staff who graciously/professionally take care of you with a ready smile.
Lovely view of the lake from the dining room… would highly recommend!

Stunning view, pleasant and fast service, excellent quality of products. Coming as a family, we enjoyed the quick service and the children's coloring menu. Points to improve: the toilets are not accessible by wheelchair (probably elsewhere in the hotel) and change the sheet of paper indicating the direction above the stairs for a real sign would be recommendable. Always in the toilet, a little escabot for the kids would be great. Finally, the card could be in German/French/English (only German).

Small room and simple but spotless with lake view, dined in the Lake Terrace restaurant, perch fillets according to their recipe, excellent!

Cozy terrace, but the service is extremely miserable. The fact that you have to wait a bit in fine weather is understandable but over 20 minutes and only with many things you could make noticeable then order. Glass of white wine ordered and not even about 0, 8 dl received (good piece under the gush mark on the glass), which is shameful and sumid. The white wine was not chilled! Gin and tonic was brought with a single ice cube (it's still going well) and that's still on a hot day on the terrace. After the payment, those of the service did not even know which table the return money (larger amount) to be brought to, — again you had to take action yourself. Catastrophic, but — no wonder if you hire such service personnel, — the responsible managing director has totally failed! "Presumably the spirit was too horny. " A third time we will certainly not come back to this restaurant!

Terrace with a beautiful view of the lake, Mont Vully and the Jura. This in winter as well as in summer. Food and wine assortment very good. Menu for Easter 2018 for Fr 69.00 incl. Wine recommendation. What more could you want? Very happy to be back.
1 star deducted because toilets are in the basement. Not ideal for elderly and disabled people. Please work on it.

Framework and beautiful terrace, but there was no service. The personal are null (especially the supervisor, she did NOTHING, she let the other servers run left to right. ) the food is standard but the price is exaggerated. Conclusion: with the service ineffective, and the price is too high, the quality/price ratio deserves only one star. If you go there, be sure that you have at least 2h of time to wait.

Cozy and neat hotel with a nice view from breakfast area to the lake. Rooms are tidy but nothing special. Amenities are bare minimum, suitable for business trips. Main downside is how much you can hear from the room next door (phone calls, etc…)

Small hotel in the historic centre of Murat. Very good reception. The rooms are small. Comfort means.

Occasion: Birthday dinner. It was a very relaxing evening in a good and cozy atmosphere. The food was very good and any extra requests were fulfilled (even if they were already announced at the beginning of the evening and only concerned the dessert). We had a bit of bad luck with the ordered prosecco, but this was changed good grace. Thank you again at this point! I recommend to everyone the Terrace evening menu, extremely tasty and a great value for money! Well done! I'd love to come back!

Cozy, small, but warm hotel in the old town of Murten with a great lake view. You wontbregret choosing it. Great breakfast, and very polite and helpful staff is only the aditional benefit of this old restaured building.

We were going to a party, and didn't speak the language. The staff looked nice and were responsive.

The setting of this hotel is just beautiful, the lake view is captivating… As for workers, they are there now, always with a smile.

Our weekend was perfect. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. From Extra requests has been received. Particularly, we have the view of the lake from the dining room and from the room enjoyed. The Hotel Murtenhof and crown is very highly recommended.

Very friendly welcome, we were 5 rooms choose from all of which were very different. We were very pleased with the choice. Good breakfast with great views of the Lake. Dinner was good but not excellent, the ambiance is very nice, service was pleasantly friendly and discreet. Price is right here — we would come again.

Food was durchnschnittlich. Operation catastrophic, unmotivated and had no idea what we had ordered. Daniel wrong in all of us.

The view is perfect. The food is good, but not above average. When 7 people's operation won't finish, that she knows what beer's Panaché or beer with mineral water. Even with the serving of the food operation can map the guest not the right menu, and with 7 people. If you need more individual documents at the end, this is only possible if you for example 2 meal or 3 salads, etc. Accepted at time of receipt. Apparently, the service is very unprofessional.

Professional service, very good food, very good craftsmanship, everything seems homemade, even the salad dressing. Very much recommended! Restaurants in such tourist places are often very bad – the Murtenhof was a big positive surprise.
