Good food, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good value for money.

The food and service was perfect again and we highly recommend, but more is not recommended.
Unfortunately, this year's room was the absolute fall. Even though we have already booked the same room for August 2020 in August 2019, this time we were accommodated in (sorry in our eyes it is) an emergency room. Clean is something else, the lamp above the bed threatened to crash at any time and with the room we booked had nothing to do with it. If it had been like this last year, we certainly wouldn't have come back. The hammer came out when you checked out, you were unfortunately fully booked and you would note the defects.
Then make CHF 210.00 for a night in a chamber, where you are forced to party and tidying up until about 01:30, because the SB terrace and the empties station are directly under the window.
From 06:00 a. M. The cleaning will start loudly… Night to end.
Sorry but next year we are sure to be other guests and maybe have a look for dinner.

13. In may, we celebrated our silver wedding. It was very nice and the food excellent. Service was very accommodating. For coffee, we received a surprise from the kitchen. Nice Ambience. We can only recommend.

Was there for a wedding dinner in private room on first floor with wonderful view on the Murten lake and the Mont Vully. Dinner served as buffet, variety of food and very good wines from close Vully, Switzerland and abroad.

Coffee croissants to 39 people by the lake. Nice and served very quickly! Thank you!

Friendly service and great location. Have (as the only restaurant down by the lake) prepared a meal on Sunday evening at 9pm. Thank you! The food was neat. Happy to return!

Welcome from the staff, clean and well-appointed premises. Full breakfast and pleasant atmosphere with lake views. Unfortunately an old building certainly well maintained but poorly insulated where it is very hot in the rooms and there is no air conditioning.

Beautiful restaurant with large terrace in a prime location and magnificent views of the lake. The food was okay, but nothing special. The staff has generally behaved in a friendly and attentive manner. Some cordiality was missing, however. Nevertheless, a great location. We'll be back!

Tables are free inside and we are put outside in the cold. While it is only 17:00… a little early for supper.
Little attentive to the customers: A mom comes back with her stroller and the staff does not even hold the door while he is at 2 meters.

Great location, facing the lake and at the foot of the old town. Ideal for families, quiet and peaceful, 15 ' walk from the station. Breakfast is welcome and comfortable rooms.

After a walk by the lake it is here in winter a Vermicelles or in summer a coupe to eat a good choice. This hotel is always well attended on weekends. The staff is friendly and mostly attentive.

We celebrated our wedding here. Everything was perfectly organized for us. A few days ago we went back there, and exactly 1 month after the wedding again nice eaten there.
We are always very happy there and recommend the other couples to the hotel ship very much!

Very good catering mainly fish dishes … have a card for children. The staff is friendly and the terrace is in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful hotel right on the lake… yes walk from the terrace across the lawn and you are there. Check in & out easy and quick. Parking was shown to us by the receptionist right at the front door. Lunch on the terrace was perfect as was our large, spacious room. Walk to the old part if then was easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend Schaffer am see and Murten.

Beautiful place with a terrace overlooking the lake of Morat. I advise you the bass Nets menu It's worth a visit.

The food is with a lot of love prepared and tastes quite good. But the Service is slow. The waiters look away immediately, as soon as you make eye contact connects to the food to order. You eat alone at the table, without asking other guests at the table.

The croissants at breakfast were very bland, for the lunch delicious and the salad funny set.
