Idyllic setting, exceptional cuisine and friendly and attentive staff.

More than 2 years I was not going back. What a pleasure to be immediately recognized and received by the owner in this exceptional hostel. We're not out of the hostel but when I go out, I'll go to this hostel. Thank you.

A pretty terrace under the trees.

I only give this place 5 stars because I cannot give 6. We were here 2 nights as part of our honeymoon, the rooms are cute, clean and quiet, the food fantastic, the hosts charming and accommodating, and the terrace rediculously romantic. Don't stay in Lausanne, don't stay in Montreux, stay here.

Slow service and there is not much choice at the wood level but the terrace is very nice for all types of ages.

Very good restaurant with an amazing view! The best season is obviously the summer to enjoy the terrace. The dishes are really neat and very good. There is a wide choice of wine.

A delightful cuisine, made with regional ingredients. The restaurant is a quiet place, with its untypical view on the railways. The staff is very comprehensive if you suffer from any allergies. Do not forget to call for reservation a few days before, otherwise you might not get a table. If you like steak tartare, I do recommend you to eat theirs, you'll be on cloud nine.

We had a gorgeous lunch on the terrace.

A nice little restaurant with multiple choice of menu. During the year and the seasons, the meals change. For this reason, each time you get there, the experience will be diferent. The staff is very proffesional and can easily answer to all your questions. Laste time, I ate a delicious beef tartare with toast and well cooked french fries. The restaurant is near the train station of Grandvaux wich is a good thing for the people who don't have a driving license (or for the people who want to drink alcohol). You can get here easily from Lausanne, th main city, in less one hour.

A place where you feel at home, a delicious local cuisine, an idyllic location, decoration always very cosy, a home that we would find anywhere where you are going. Raymonde and Philippe Bravo for what you do, it is always a pleasure to come home.

Me (being pregnant in the 31st week of pregnancy) and my husband were passing in Grandvaux, and we wanted to dine at the restaurant on a Tuesday evening after work. To my surprise, the server told us that all the tables on the terrace were reserved while at least 8 tables were still available when we arrived and it was only 7:00 pm. We were very disappointed in the service and the lack of total flexibility, especially in my state of health.
