The rooms were small but good… The only problem we faced were the twin beds for couple . Breakfast was good… Croissant was nice… But all cold breakfast… hot milk and water available with boiled eggs… Helpful staff. You can get bus travel free voucher for zone 10 from the reception for inner luxerne.

This was our first time in Switzerland and don't have another hotel to compare it to. Staff was friendly. Didn't interact with them much. Hotel was clean. Hotel is easy to get to an in a prime location. Notes for future travelers: Rooms were small like the rest of Europe. No A/C as this hotel was built in 1910. Breakfast included is continental (Fruit, dried meats, coffee, juices, breads, cereals, hard boiled eggs only)

Centrally located good hotel. Restaurant and food is nice. Breakfast is not elaborate but of decent quality. Rooms are good but without AC. During my stay in first week of June felt need of air-conditioning.

First positive — location. A minute's walk from the lake. 7-8 minutes from the station. Second — clean, calm ambience. Third — a decent restaurant with a decent breakfast spread. Coffee is available anytime of the day. Rooms are a little on the smaller side — but that's true for most of Europe I guess.

Very good location, close to everything and in a very nice area.
For me the hotel was wonderful, from the stay to the breakfast.

Very nice service and good food at relatively reasonable prices, although rather at the top limit. The restaurant also offers meeting rooms in the hotel to which you have all the amenities you might expect.

Pros: Very clean, large bath, central location right by the old town and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Good breakfast included (cheese, cured meats, fresh bread, cream cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, juice). Affordable rooms — I was surprised at how expensive Switzerland was. Minor cons: The soundproofing in rooms is not as good as you would get in a concrete building (e. G. Large newer hotels in North America) and the beds are fairly small with thin mattresses. My sleep was unaffected but it may be a problem for some people. Overall very positive experience, friendly staff, iced tea in the reception is a nice touch. If I return to Lucerne, I will certainly stay at this hotel again.

A really nice comfortable friendly hotel situated in the Centre of Lucerne near to all the local sights and ideal for a good shopping spree. I had one evening meal at the hotel and I can honestly say that the food was excellent. My room (for one person) was basic but very comfortable and cleaned daily to a very high standard. The staff are very helpful and friendly and I found that nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel and I look forward to coming back in the future.

We had an awesome view and really nice reception staff. Great walking location as well.

Excellently located for the old town, lake and railway station. Simple but comfortable room and a good breakfast. All members of staff we encountered were extremely cheerful and helpful.

Great location to visit the city with availability of paid parking agreement with the Hotel. Excellent service, cleanliness and courteous and efficient staff.

Clean and functional but extremely small room on a noisy street so couldn't open the window to cool down the room. Shower water temperature also changed from hot to cold constantly.

Good location of hotel, good Wi-Fi. For such level of hotel very high price (in Germany you receive hotel of 5 stars for such price! ), simple number, a simple breakfast, isn't present the parking, the close parking costs 25 Fr. In a night.

This was a lovely experience since it was at the heart of luzern and the staff was extremely frindly. Had dinner at the restaurant and felt like home cod of the friendly nature and superb service.

Near the city center and within walking distance to many attractions, great restaurant next door (owned by hotel). Staff was helpful, the room was nothing special though, a little small and boring interiors.

Hotel in the city centre, close to the Lake and handy for a quick visit to the city. It is very comfortable, clean and friendly staff. We had a great time. There is parking at the side which is very convenient for those travelling by car. Recommended.

Great Restaurant with delicious Spears!

The rooms were a bit small but very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant is one of the best with different kind of drinks and food.

Very friendly staff, rooms are very small though. Free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately no fridge in the room to cool my beer. But the restaurant gave me a bucket full of ice :-)

Cosy bed, breakfast was good, very high tariff, location and outside look and fel average, no pick and drop facility to the station which is only half a km away.

The hotel, situated just a moment's walk across the lake from the station, is a nice place to stay for those who plans to spend a few days in Luzern or surrounding area. The room was in adequate size for 2-people budget accommodation and the staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful. The room, the bathroom, the bed were in good conditions. The breakfast was excellent for its price (included) and the two complementary bottles of water PLUS two welcome drinks was a nice courtesy. The location was convenient and did not cause us any trouble to navigate nor did we feel unsafe. The Wi-Fi was also in good working condition. If you can walk a bit, have time for the buffet breakfast, and does not need huge space, this is the place for you.

The Hotel corresponded to our expectations. Excellent was the food in the hotel restaurant Lapin.

Friendly reception, good value for money Food was very good, but the salad buffet was completely empty. We asked the staff for replenishment, which for some time did Coffee we would rather out of the good coffee machine.
