The entire hotel is elegantly and uniquely decorated Convenient location to fancy stores, restaurants and train. Dinner was excellent.

I know hotel Alex for more then 20 years. We have been there many times when I was still living in Switzerland. I live now in New Zealand and was back last year with my husband and daughter. It's the same family that running the place and the standard is 5 star plus. The staff was so friendly and everything was so clean. And the food specially the desert buffet to die for. And yes the skiing is AAA. For me the best ski field in the world. So I would recommend Hotel Alex to anybody. Must go once in a life time.

I am shocked by this story or even in our time we can consider the employees as slaves and Miss Ampathie at this point. So much the better she was fired by those bosses who are just Tenardiers. His future is elsewhere. Good luck to her.

Cosy hotel close to the train station and main street of Zermatt. Small rooms but comfy, interior in traditional alp style. Friendly staff and easy going mood.

Awesome place to stay! Large rooms / suites. Spectacular decor. Comfy beds. Pool, spa, hottub. Also jacuzzi in room. We even had a balcony. Great nreakfast buffet. Very congenial.

Hotel Alex, has an amazing location VERY close to the train station, but tucked away from the main Street. Amenities are excellent, a true Continental Breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi are wonderful and were very quiet when we visited. Our room was very comfortable, sized nicely with a beautiful bathroom and very clean. Service is excellent, we had to check out early in the morning, so staff packed us breakfast boxes that would be ready for us when we left.

The beds are extremely comfortable the linens are first class everything is very nice about this hotel. I would say it's at least five star by United States standards!

Nice little chalet, the rooms are comfortable enough, with a decent sized room and bathroom equiped with jacuzzi, which felt quite luxurious. The hotel itself can be a little difficult to navigate as the layout can be confusing. They have quite a few facilities like swimming pool, spa, squash, tennis and more. It is also very close to the train station, and is just off the main street. Overall a pretty nice place to stay :)

Didn't stay here but did play tennis so that's what I'm rating. Great indoor tennis court, very private and good lighting. Zermatt pricing was high but there aren't many courts in town. Seemed like a nice hotel and it's close to the station.

Comfort, quality, welcoming smile, moods varied, many sports (including tennis) and good benefits be, rooms of all categories, restaurants. All in a setting and warm, beautifully wooded. Not to mention the high range and terraces restaurants. Everything is magic.

A stunning hotel with a lot of ambiance and attention to detail. Centrally located, perfect for exploring marvellous Zermatt. Our family of 4 had a dream weekend there.
