Wonderful family own hotel with warm and friendly service! The service in this cosy hotel was outstanding, warm and friendly. The owners — Daniela and Rolf — went the extra mile to make our stay extra special and “at home” feeling. Situated at the outside of Saas-Fee it is located in a very quiet area. A little far from the slopes, but public transport is free and stops right in front of the hotel. The 'village' is traffic free and upon arrival at the very modern parking place, you are being picked up by the hotel owner Mr Rolf Bumann himself. From our south side room (no 34) and balcony we had a wonderful mountain view. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast had something to everyone’s taste. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place. Regards

Very hospitable hotel in a great location.

We spent a very nice week at the Hotel Etoile. It was all to our full satisfaction and the whole team surprised us every day with great themed evenings and delicious food. Also thank you very much for the guided and exciting hikes in the Valais mountains from the chef very personally, including aperitif. Only recommended!

Once again it was a beautiful experience to spend a week in hotel etoile-our experience was nothing less than exceptional! The Food was beyond good and great as always! And This time we had tried the sauna in the hotel after a long day of skiing and we assure u it is amazing! They will provide you everything you need for a one hour session. We are so thankful to have known this hotel to make our holiday memorable. To the owner Rolf and Daniela we thank u for accomodating us it is been a pleasure. We wish you only the best together with your staff!

A small clean hotel to the really comfotable. Daniela and Rolf Bumann with her friendly and loving staff's to do repeatedly, also who times the weather not so nice is that it feels right and have fun on vacation. Nice clean rooms and very good food with a lot of variety. Swiss Spetzialitäten, such as fondue, raclette and Fondue Chinoise repeatedly make splendid holiday week.

Nice rooms, all of them with a view on the incredible mountain range of Saas-Fee. The food is good with a new theme every night. This is a hotel that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is very welcoming. This is not a five-star hotel but it is far from a youth hostel. Casual is a word that comes to mind, the good kind of casual. You don't need a suit to go to dinner, but you don't wear flip flops either. Staff is extremely helpful and will pretty much do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. (Sadly, even they can't control the weather. ) Location is excellent, within a 5 minute walk of the center of Saas-Fee and very quiet and peaceful at night. Recommended.

The Erlebnishotel Etoile is a very nice, quiet small hotel with a special flair. The family of Rolf and Daniela Bumann very professionally run hotel and make your stay extremely pleasant. The cuisine is excellent and offers a varied program with culinary theme evenings. Very friendly staff accompanied the guests during the whole stay. It comes as guests and goes as friends!

In this hotel, the winter and ski holiday is pure recreation.
When the family Bumann as host with your friendly and attentive personnel, the guest is welcome as a friend.
The physical well-being provide a rich breakfast and culinary delights in the evening.
Gorgeous slopes with optimal snow conditions and weather is usually nice to contribute every day to be a special day on a well-deserved holiday.

Excellent service and feel like home…
We were now the second year guest in this family business and the very friendly atmosphere and the friendly staff is simply great — In the holiday feel at home. The transfer service to the hotel and the use of the ski area at the ski resort offer very high comfort. And to deposit the ski boots directly into the room on the slopes after a day skiing then and in the comfortable shoes to slip through the village to schlender and every now and then something to treat yourself — fabulous. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. Theme nights are a real attraction and offer a cheerful frame for fine dinner (the chef is really excellent). We will in the future our holiday certainly again in Saas Fee "experience" and now forward and the hotel "Etoile" is the first address for us here.

If you want comfort and great service, this hotel is for you! We stay here for a week with family and we found it excellent. Its clean and the food was great which is very pampering on your taste buds. The price is affordable with a fine luxury breakfast and dinner they served everyday. You will be also intertained with their different dinner theme every night. It has an intertainment area for children, adult and for the whole family too! They have a storage room for your ski and snow board equipment which is near from the ski lift, cable car and ski area for the bigginers. They will pick you up during your arrival and departure from the hotel for free which is very covinient, and really hastle free! :) ) ) ) and a lot more of extra!
And most of all the staff and owner is very friendly and give the best service you could ever have during your stay! Its one of the best way to spend your holiday in Etoile Hotel Saas-fee with your family, friends and loveone! :) ) ) liebe Grûsse

We will be for many years to the Erlebnishotel Etoile Saas-fee by Rolf and Daniela Bumann. This year we went with the children and grandchildren and it was really wonderful, a dream, I'm coming. You understand now why we speak of our paradise in Saas-fee. The location is wonderful, the excellent accommodation and the owner of Rolf and Daniela, along with their team do everything to guests at all times and in all weather conditions to their liking. Rolf was born in Saas-fee and since his childhood all passports and walks, every mountain, climbed explored. He amazes us every year with new hiking and biking, which he personally accompanied, and we explore places and views that we had never before discovered by us. Its underlying stories and explanations about the life in the mountains, past and present are time, always fascinating.

— familiar atmosphere, but not only for families — quite location, you will sleep very deep — cosy rooms — excelent dinners (4 to 5 courses, good wine) — breakfast with all the things you need to start a lovely day — entertainements at the evenings, so never boring — amiable and helpfull service — many special offers (pass for skiing, day tickets, reservations, …)

Dear friends of the Hotel Etoile in Saas Fee. Daniela and Rolf Bumann convince us for years with their tireless commitment in her small but fine Hotel. We would like to thank of course all the employees for their Tip-Top Service. We spend every year in March, a week of skiing and were not disappointed, for twenty years never. The Bumann family and the staff are very welcoming. We enjoyed every moment being at the hotel. They are very kind and very helpful. The hotel is a true 3 stars. We recommend it to anyone with a family.
