Hostels in Canton of BernHostel

We had the most amazing experience in Interlaken for our family vacation. It is a magical place that almost looks fake. It is so beautiful.

We had a fantastic week at Backpackers Villa while skiing the Jungfrau region. The location is perfect for easy mountain access, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Super social hostel in a great location; we'd definitely stay again!
We got one of the private rooms to rent and split it 3 ways — great value! Good facilities! Super cute hostel.

We had a really great experience staying at Balmers Hostel. The service and atmosphere were both excellent.

Cool restaurant in Jura. Close to recreational area with lake. Enough parking place and lovely views from garden terrace. Great menu with great dishes. Busy on a sunny weekend day.

Very good beef tartar, coffee drinkable (coffee sometimes horrible in this region, at this place ok)

Fantastic food, environment and service (and open on a Monday! ) The 'menu du jour' is great value with good variety each week.

We didn't stay overnight, but we ate even better!

Highly recommend this slice of heaven and traditional Swiss b & b. Outstanding stay here with the kindest hosts and best breakfast.

Our stay at Lehmanns Herberge was truly the highlight of our entire trip to Switzerland.

Obviously the scenery was BEYOND gorgeous with the stunning view of the Alps, but I gave the location a 3 because if you don't take a bus, it will take quite a lot of tiring uphill climbing to reach

The location is not ideal, if you don’t catch the bus up to the hostel you have to walk up, but the view is absolutely beautiful.

I really loved my stay at Valley Hostel and would love to go back there again someday.
Such a warm and affordable place in Lauterbrunnen!

My partner and I had a lovely experience at Valley Hostel. It was sparkling clean, each (private) room has a balcony with seats and an inside table and chairs.

We stayed here for five days and loved every minute.

A perfect place to stay in Lauterbrunnen! We were welcomed very warmly and the view from the rooms was amazing.

The coolest place I think I've ever stayed at. I loved the old school hotel room keys and the entire vibe/aesthetic of the place. It was very quiet and beautiful while I was there.

I just spent three nights at this wonderful "city hotel". I needed three quiet days working and — as a lockdown bonus — enjoying some lovely food.

Our stay in Lake Lodge was nothing short of magical.
From the breathtaking lake views to the warm hospitality, Evelina from management team even gave us a free room upgrade!

It was a wonderful and very nice experience. The location is excellent, the room was clean and well-equipped, and the staff were extremely friendly. There is also free parking. I liked it.

Hostel is not very far from train station. It is open 24/7, was cheap in winter for one person in a 6-bed mixed dorm.

Staff was so incredibly kind & helpful! They have in house full service laundry that we paid for which was incredibly helpful; we got to come back from a day of adventures to folded laundry!

This was my second stay at Bern Youth Hostel, and it confirmed exactly how I felt the first time, I absolutely love this place!
The location is simply outstanding.

Very good value for money. Good location, clean rooms, friendly reception, quiet, breakfast included, beautiful outdoor seating :) All recommendations!

Beautiful Auberge and Excellent Bistro. Excellent beer, Lagoburger to try absolutely, excellent coffee rich and full breakfast, cheerful and comfortable atmosphere on the shore of Lake Biel.

We went to Biel with a class of students. The stay was fantastic as well as the meals (breakfast and dinner).

Wonderfully renovated rooms in a over 300 year old, historic building (no elevator, no TV) located right at the end of the short historic old town with views of the castle.

Neat historical hotel in the center of Porrentry. Friendly and helpful staff. I'd certainly love to visit again.

Great hostel!
Bedroom with an amazing view on the mountains. The staff is very hospitable, and always ready to help you. The breakfast is whole. You can even enjoy playing billards or foosball table.

I had a great experience at Hostel 77 in Bern. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

One of the best parts was the stunning view all around the hostel — it is truly hard to beat the peaceful mountain scenery.

Truly the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It was so cozy and beautiful, the wooden cabin feel, the soft yellowish lighting, the pizza and bar made people stay and gather in the common area creating

“I want to share this place with everyone! The view is absolutely amazing — I still can’t believe I found it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 🌄”

Absolutely stunning little building in a quiet area, right on the lake.

I cannot stress enough how perfect this accommodation was.

Gorgeous location, clean interior and very nice outside grounds with seating options, very helpful staff, and great breakfast spread. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Not mutch to do in te direct area 1 small shop and 2 restaurant the rest is a 30min drive. I miss some scharging plugs and maybe airco in the rooms or extra fan.

Very beautifull scenery. Good equipment For a hostel.

I'm from Thailand and stayed here for four nights. The owner was very kind and the accommodation was clean and fully equipped. It's a 10-minute walk from the station or you can take a bus.

Walter's Hostel was well located — near Interlaken Ost and Coop, and complete with amenities for cooking and laundry. The room was well curated, clean and spacious, same with the bathroom!
