Stayed here for 2 days with my wife. Rooms are comfortable. However, the front-desk staff as well as the waitress in the restaurant were extremely rude. The waitress literally shouted at us when asked for an extra spoon.

Very nice stay. Breakfast was good. Staff had been very courteous and helpful. I had room on 2nd floor. Missed the facility of lift.

Friendly staff at the front desk. Very accommodating to our extremely late check in. The room was big and comfortable. Beautiful in a rustic historic sense. For people looking for an authentic hotel and a good price, this is a great place to rest while skiing or enjoying any mountain activity.

Chinese tourists please note that the hotel reception has obvious racial discrimination, and check-out will find reason to deduct money, the front desk staff called Fabienne, attitude is very bad.

For nothing I advise, is a very old hotel, no elevator, our room very small, zero amenities, uncomfortable bed, in short a disaster for those who are looking for some comfort and comfort.

Horrible experience At first it looked like a nice stay But the staff there is not supportive at all -No elevators (so you literally have to carry your luggage to the your floor) (it was 2nd in our case) — At first we were told card is required as a formality and no security would be taken but next day thanks to our international roaming we got a message — they did a transaction of 450 CHF without even informing us or asking. — to cover that up the amount they unnecessarily imposed fines. — no Wi-Fi in rooms as mentioned. — staff n the hotel owners are the worse Be careful about your stay there! If can change right now!

Perfect hotel in the Alps, Great view from my room, food was very good, check in and desk help were very engaging and helpful.

One of the finest places I ever lived in! great experience, everything is clean, receptionists we're ridiculously lovely, helpful and kind. Also the breakfast was really nice. Wi-Fi will reach first floor only and that gave me (us) a good chance to stay away from the phone/internet for awhile and live the true experience in wildswirl-interlaken. The view was fantastic and there's also a book shelves in the first floor.

Has very rude owner who tries to sell you crappy room for an expensive price, and doesn't care about costumes. When came first talked to reception lady she was willing to give me very nice room for 110$, I came backs few moments later owner said he will only sell that room for 140$. But if I want room for 110$ he has one right by buffet… There is many places around there who is open for business.

Excellent budget hotel, very Cosy with superb breakfast.

We stayed in the hotel, which for 3 nights was ok. We decided to have dinner one night and waited over 30min for the food to come…

On 29.01.2014, we have Bern called, booked a table and after Stroganoff asked what we go there several times already fed because the quality, the price and the ambience are unique. A lady acknowledged the order and said Yes to our request. After the arrival in the beautiful Restaurant we studied the map, and behold, not a Stroganoff. In the operation described our concerns, she inquired in the kitchen, and now comes the Hammer. "Gladly would the kitchen staff on our desire to respond, it would simply be a waiting time of 20 minutes for the episode"! Where can you find in the Swiss Gastroscene still something? Congratulations and a big thank you to the management and the staff.

This was to be our fourth visit to the hotel, but on this occasion with a degree of trepidation given that the hotel had been sold in March and just in life nothing stays the same. Oh how wrong we were, the hotel has blossomed under the new ownership of Bernard Müller, we were greeted warmly by Beat Niederer Head of Front Desk who ensured our luggage was speedily transported to the room of our choice and at dinner the Head Waiter proved to be the consummate professional. Over the following 13 nights the staff went out of their way to make our stay a real memorable occasion, indeed on Swiss National Day, the hotel put on what can only be described as one of the best barbeques I have come across in recent years, the choices of food was magnificent and no one could have complained about the quality or indeed the quantity. For the remainder of our time the menu at dinner was always very good and served with style and variety, never being repeated once during our entire stay. If we had one criticism, it was at breakfast time when the service and variety of available food was somewhat fragmented resulting in furrowed brows of guests and the pleading for certain dishes etc to be replenished. It was therefore a sad occasion when we had to depart for the start of our return trip to Kent.

A very comfortable and charming old hotel with extremely comfortable beds. Good facilities and an ideal position with good tranpsort links for visiting all parts of the Bernese Oberland.
