Breakfast, the rooms, surroundings, beautiful place to be ❤️

The hotel in general is ok (breakfast, building, metro proximity, tranquility, cleanliness etc), but in our case a nefarious bed, a mattress that is not mattress (a toper or similar that does not protect you from box-spring anomalies, and that for people with some discomfort of back is torture), and it seems that this happens in every room. The attitude of the staff to try to fix it perfect, no complaints, the problem is the management of the hotel itself: bad material means and lack of resources to fix it.

We spent three nights in the hotel and were thrilled! Quiet and yet centrally located we could enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the morning. In about 25 walk you are in the old town, which is not worth a visit in the evening, but it is far too nice in the surroundings in Södermalm. In 15 min you are on the beach, in summer a pleasure. The room was pleasantly cool and clean, the breakfast buffet fine. The staff at the reception was very friendly. This is hotel is only recommended!

Unique hotel in a very old but well kept building. Location is close to transit, staff are friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. Not fancy, but comfortable and great value. Shower head in our room left a little bit to be desired, but otherwise no issues.

Rooms very individual, some much nicer than others. A long block from a tram station which can take you anywhere in the city.

Beautiful old building with lots of history and ambiance. Good breakfast and service. Nice courtyard with seating. Quiet location near local shops and restaurants. Our room was small, with a low ceiling. Being short of height, it suited us, but a taller person should make sure to get a room that's not in the attic. :)

The staff is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great.

I liked this place! Clean room and bathroom, a little small, but enough for a short stay. Beautiful and cozy coffee room where you can go at any hour and drink some coffee or tea. Breakfast was delicios and generous in a nice atmosphere. A charming place in a quiet area. Only 3 minutes walk from a Metro station, so you can easily get to the Centralstation. You can walk to Skinnarviksberget or Monteliusvägen to have a nice view over the city, especially in the evening when all the lights are on.

Good value compared to a lot of places in Stockholm. We had breakfast provided everyday, the bathroom was nice and clean, the rooms warm and the staff friendly. Our room was pretty quirky, and the hotel is within walking distance of some great coffee shops and restaurants. Only real negative point was how poor the Wi-Fi was, could barely use it most of the time.

Excellent place and service, is an old house renovated and modernized, very nice. Breakfast is very abundant, varied and with good quality products. The staff is very friendly. A recommended place to visit Stockholm just two blocks from the subway station.

The hotel is small but nice! The way from the road to the entrance is unfortunately with coarse cobbled, which is not the most for a trolley! The rooms are clean and the staff does a good job but the floor is out of old planks the splinters which makes the barefoot run not pleasant! Had to pull 3 splinters out of my foot! The bathroom is very small but it fulfills its purpose!

Historic, picturesque hotel in a very quiet location and metro station within walking distance, so an ideal city hotel.
+ Fine breakfast buffet + very quiet surroundings + central location (Gamla Stan within walking distance) + gorgeous niches, walls and accessories + very friendly and unremarkable team + great value — pull in head, lots of low ceilings, too The showers are … let's call it very efficient in terms of space;) — at breakfast rush hour it can get tight all in all perfect for the city trip to Stockholm!

The room was very small. 5min walk from the metro and 25min from the Old City.

I like this place a lot. Stayed here several times now. It is a quiet unassuming old mansion which has been expanded over the years. It still retains its historic charm, while introducing an eclectic mix of artifacts to decorate the interior. The twin and double rooms have always delivered on comfort and you receive a level of service associated with family run places. Will return again in the future.

So, we've been here 1 day so far and we already don't want to ever leave. I mean, the rooms are gorgeous, the staff is great, don't even get me started on the rich breakfast buffet, oh, and they have this really cute complementary coffee room! The front garden is absolute poetry. Amazing place!

Very friendly people, charming rooms, a truly special hotel. Something you don't find everywhere. Its in a great neighborhood and only 2 stations to Gamla Stan.

Charming old manor hotel in the heart of the city. 2mb walk from Zinkensdamm station, 4 underground stations from T-Central (central station where bus & trains for the airport are leaving). The breakfast is really good (loads of choice+quality products). Two oddities though: first one is a pebble way to reach a the hotel (a hell of a challenge with a suitcase) and then, there's no sign available to say "do not disturb" but overall I recommend it.

Very Nice hotel. The breakfast is great. Only thing is that the rooms are very small even the bathroom. The bed sleeps amazing. They don't accept euro as payment.

Nice and cozy hotell with a good atmosphere. Some what unusual rooms with wonderful old wooden floors — old meets new. Comfy beds. Quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Free coffee and biscuits around the clock. Great location, pretty close to the subway. The breakfast was good, but however nothing really special — they could have had more warm vegan options. Maybe hash brown potatoes, oven tomatoes, baked beans, fried mushrooms?

Really nice small boutique hotel in a calm street near Zinkensdamm on Södermalm. Lovely rooms and friendly staff. The great thing really is the location — you're in the heart of Södermalm and yet it is really quite.

Just back from 4 days/3 nights in Stockholm and I don't think we could have picked a better hotel! The hotel is less than a two minute walk from a metro station in an quiet area around a 20 minute walk from the main town centre. The room was absolutely lovely, I am unable to find any fault at all, breakfast was very good also Will definitely be back.
