Really superb service from the very first contact until we left.
We spent our New Year’s Eve at the AML and I proposed to my wife-to-be, and the support and planning together with the team was great from start to finish. And she sad YES!

Beautiful setting, cosy atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food. Thank you for making us so welcome and looking after us so well. Highlights were definitely the Wilderness photography tour and the chair lift to the Sky Station. The lights were illusive but we still had an amazing time. Thank you.

Friendly staff, great location — 5mins from abisko ostra station… accomodation-stayed in cottage (5 star). Lots of activities available near to the mountain lodge. Walking distance to supermarket.

It is noisy but that is just what it is. Staff were friendly and helpful. Take earplugs and it’s perfect. Water pressure amazing. Warm and cozy. No laundry at all. Aussies beware. None in town at all. Take extra undies. Overall great spot.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, top class ala carte and buffet breakfast. I was quite surprised with the cooking! Restaurant is very stylish in a rough outback way. Our room was quite basic for the price, but clean and functional. Functuonal apart from the shower which didn't have good pressure or heat. All in all me, my wife and our dog were pleased with our short stay. We were given a room close to the emergency exit which made it easy to take the dog out.

I put five stars but it deserves at least 8 stars! The location is gorgeous, the food good and refined, welcoming environment that puts you immediately at ease, friendly and helpful staff! Only flaw the small but functional room! I repeat 8 stars!

The facility is very pretty. The standard rooms are perhaps a little too small and suitable for a stay of up to 2 nights while the superior rooms (in the adjoining wooden structure) are very nice and in their simplicity they are equipped with everything (view of the forest included). Typical Swedish breakfast taken care of, very good dinner but really to improve as there is no choice (a starter, a main course and in dessert. ) You eat what's there and get some portions. After an hour, you're still hungry. The structure rents snowmobiles and provides the equipment all that is needed for cross-country skiing.

The food was very nice. I am vegetarian and they also had a great menu for me. It was absolutely delicious.

Very clean, very friendly, good breakfast. Wide range of activities. For this area, price-performance for rooms and breakfast is correct, including sauna.

It's rustic and basic but owner and staff make it a charming and practical base of operations. Be SURE to accept their offer of free gear (boots, mittens, hats, coveralls). Being shy means you will be cold!

A great place to see the northern lights and trek the artic circle, friendly service, great food, rooms are small and could do with an upgrade but overall a beautiful place to visit.

There is certainly no big choice up here in the north, but the house is really nice. Everything clean, well structured, there is a good shop with food, equipment and small stuff. Always happy!

Stayed for 3 nights in January. Nice location on a hill, close to the national park, train station and activities such as dogsledding. The hotel facilities are somewhat worn and rooms could really use a face-lift and some additional functionalities (can't speak for the lodges as I didn't stay in one). For example, in a location such as Abisko with long and cold winters there really should be better heating in the rooms and floor heating in the bathroom. Beds were ok but simple. You'll probably sleep well because you're tired from activities, and not because the beds are really comfortable. Also, rooms aren't exactly soundproof so you better have a quiet neighbor (smart move of the hotel to not have TVs in the room, that would just have created irritation). On the plus side, staff is very friendly and helpful. I also found the food better than expected. This was important as you don't really have any other options for food other than the pitiful local supermarket which has more candy than actual food. In sum, would give 4 stars if improvements were made to room/facilities.

So nice and so cute. Very good things we ate. I absolutely loved having been there sin only two nights. I would have liked just two to three degrees more heat in the room, but I am a feels and in any case I slept great.

Excellent accommodation in Abisko. We had a superior room which is a few metres from the main building. Very new and very warm rooms. The hotel also has onsite activities run by Arctic Peak. The food is excellent and the dinner (needs to be reserved in advance) is excellent fine dining.

Restaurant, Hall and breakfast remarkable. The double room is too small and cold. You can not open your suitcases and in the bathroom it is difficult even to wash your face without wetting on the ground.

Just a quick stop here as went on tour with abisko tours just next door it was late and we were waiting for our pickup. Place looked nice and homely.

Nice apartments immersed in wild nature!

The staff at the lodge were extremely friendly and approachable, the reception was a very cozy place to be and the breakfast and restaurant were excellent. The lodge is situated close to the train station and there are a lot of activities in the vicinity. Well worth a visit.

Stayed here in Feb 2016. Found the rooms warm and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was extremely good. Helpful friendly staff.

Great food and people. Located in beautiful area with many outdoor activities nearby. Fishing, trekking and skiing.

If you are are someone who likes spending your holidays outside your hotel room, this is your place. The staff are absolutely amazing. While the rooms are on the small side, we managed to fit 2 adults and a baby fine with associated bits. If you are coming to Abisko, you are not coming to spend time in your room so this shouldn't be a problem. This would normally drop a star but the staff really are just that good. The wilderness is beautiful and the views from the lodge are wonderful. After a long hike the sauna is a welcome sight, hot, clean and oh so good! The house restaurant is top notch too. The food tasted amazing, was always right on time and hot. Included breakfast was also superb. Bottom line, the only thing that detracts is the room size but everything else makes you forget about it. There are huts which I believe are larger if it's that much of an issue.

I didn't notice that I was done with my food. Excellent service, high quality food, cozy atmosphere! Walk on the mountain, relax at the hotel and eat well! On the images are meal of the traditional moose and praline dessert.

A really nice place to stay for a night. Room for 2 persons was quite small, but excellent breakfast and friendly staff made up for it. I'll definitely return here on my next trip to Norway.

Very well run House: friendly, helpful staff, tidy (albeit small) rooms, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, good dinner (menu a la carte), cosy lobby.
Good location.
You can leave for walks directly from the house, the train station is only a few hundred metres away.
The Torneträsk is located almost in front of the house, in the hinterland the Abisko Nature Reserve with a view of "Lapporten".

Ate a fantastic dinner — balanced and rich with thoughtful service. Would happily eat here again.

Perfect getaway to see the northern lights. The place was warm, cosy with wonderful people like Martin at the bar/ front desk, Sophia, Carl in the restaurant.
My wife & I absolutely loved the place! And the food; one of the main criteria for choosing this place! Super awesome! Dishes were very subtle but very good in taste. The Reindeer n the Arctic Shark were the best!
Thanks to Martin for giving us room no. 15 as we could see the lights right from our room!
Only downside for us was the heating system in the room n the lobby. Should have been bit better.
But on the whole… had a fantastic time in & around the lodge.

Fantastic outing with husky.

I went there for dinner and a drink after a long hike. It's the latest place open in Abisko as the restaurant closes at 20:30. The restaurant actually didn't smell good and the menu didn't sound appetizing. So, I just ordered dessert and a couple beers. It was delicious! The service was top notch. Also, the atmosphere in the lobby area was very nice and I met some fellow hikers. I didn't see the rooms but all in all a wonderful place.

Outstanding lunches (just soup, but amazing) and especially dinners, small and very friendly staff. After a few days, you know them all. The gear they lend you is really good, and you can keep it for your entire stay (snowsuit, boots, gloves, hats). But the rooms are a little small and there is no storage space. And the location is not great. Interesting outdoors activities are much easier from the Turiststation. Most importantly, be sure to visit the ice hotel on the way to Kiruna, but don't bother staying there.

Nice little hotel/bed and breakfast. Good food both for the breakfast buffet and the dinner. The set menu for dinner was not vegan/vegetarian friendly but if you told them beforehand they made some really nice dishes like that as well. The rooms were small but functional and the staff was friendly and very helpful about what trails to go to and what sights to see.
