I tried to book hut from internet site for same day. Didn’t work. Called reseption and they said there’s free huts but they had to call me later. Waited for half hour and called again. This time someone else answered. Lady was rude and said that she can’t book us in and that we have to try net site again. When I told I have tried three times and tried again, she said that she doesn’t have time for me because she has other customers. I tried netsite again, doesn’t work. Called again to reseption and yet again got bad service.
Lady who I talked with first called me 1, 5 hours after my first call. I had booked place from somewhere else.

Plus: Nice Area by the River, especially for families with kids, lots of activities Downside: Pay extra to Shower and Pay for Wifi per person, 40 SEK/24 hours-one coupon per person… welcome to the stone age.

The place is perfect for a weekend of camping. It has: -Bathrooms where you can shower or use the toilet -A mini golf field -Bikes for 1, 2 or 4 people that you can borrow. -Big and small Segways. -A playground for kids. -A soccer field. -Different types of boats to borrow. -A store. -Small open houses where you can go and warm your food in microwaves, or wash your dishes etc. -A big pool with a slide that you can swim in (or the sea if you want). -A lot more. I have not tested the small cabins that you can sleep in, so I cannot say anything about the quality. But the best choice if you want to sleep there is probably the cabins or a caravan, because if you sleep in a tent you will wake up in 40°C at 7 am in the morning. The prices in this place are not too high, at least for not a person from Norway. The most of the drinks in the store are under 20 SEK, which is less than 3 dollars/2 Euros. The most expensive service at the camp is probablt the Segway, which is around 30$ for 1 hour. The rest is under 15$. The camp is also approximately 15 minutes away from the city Luleå, so if you are bored, you can go there. As I said earlier, it is a great place to go to for a weekend of camping. Or if you are traveling and driving through Luleå, I recommend stopping there for a night.

The pluses: +) Beautiful campsite (44ha) situated on a peninsula between two bays in the Bothnian Gulf with a lot of trees, wonderful beaches and a lovely view over the City of Luleå at the other side of the bay. Also there is a nice railway museum (free entry) next to the camp. In the two Kolaren sommarcafes you can eat a lot of salads for not too much money (converted to €uro between €11, 50 and €14, 50 is pretty cheap to Scandinavian standards) But now the minuses: -) If you have to pay more than €40, =/night for a tent with 230Volt socket, you should expect free showering, free internet and free acces to the swimming pool attached to the campsite. NONE of this; you have to pay for all those facilities. The watertaps near the tent — /camper — / caravan pitches in section D do not work, so if your pitch is situated far from the toilet/shower building, you have to walk hundreds of meters to the toilet building to only fill your flask. Space for a lot of improvements. 6, 5/10

Site is gorgeous but they are advertised in Google as a 4 starts hotel. I've never been to a 4 stars hotel that charges for linen, makes you clean your own cabin with strict rules, makes you pay for Wi-Fi and has a bathroom pump that sounds like thunder everytime you or your neighbor flushes. Also the staff is rude when you confront them about their fine print and just asks you is "you are going to check in or not". Don't get me wrong the place is amazing for a camping holiday when you have all the gear but they have zero empathy and they are definitely far from a 4-star hotel. 1

Cozy place to enjoy with friends … cache and comfort.

We had so much trouble with this location that we canceled prior to the trip even beginning. First, they listed cabins online that said they were pet-friendly. Since we were attending a nearby cat show this was mandatory for us. When we contacted the location to make the reservation, though, they told us that their webpage wasn't right and that only the smallest, most uncomfortable of all of their cabins were actually pet friendly — the ones with barely anything other than wooden furniture and mattresses. Because, you know… people traveling with pets MUST be crammed into the smallest spaces available. We booked this cabin regardless because the rate was so low. We then found out that in this "pet-friendly" cabin we would only be allowed to keep the cat in its cage for the entire visit, or locked in the bathroom. Doesn't seem very pet-friendly to me. Next they went out of their to send special emails to everyone attending the cat show, with warnings that we needed to follow their pet policies and that there was a 2000 Swedish Crown (€200) "decontamination fee" if the room wasn't cleaned properly before we left. Let’s not forget that we were required to book a pet-owner-only room inspection prior to our departure. From their email: "Sometimes we have guests that suffer from allergies at the campsite, which is why it is very important to not let the cats be free in the cabins".

It's a camping. I don't really see the charm in taking a smaller house on wheels out camping, when all my good stuff is at home. But, if you're into that then this is as good a place as any. Really nice areas and activities for kids.

Average Swedish camping standard but the location almost 'above' the Luleå river bank is spectacular.

Good service, clean facilities and great location.

Beautiful well-kept course, sanitary facilities were fine. There is a free sauna in the main building, unfortunately rather not so relaxing, however, there is also a sauna on the beach, wood-fired oven and views of the city of Luleå. Highly recommended, unfortunately, but for a fee, 3 hours €70. There still a Railway Museum and a well-stocked grocery store.

The place is good, there are enough pitches and one has a huge selection. But were unfortunately during our stay at the Sanitätanlagen in a miserable state. In the evening the showers and toilets were not been cleaned, it was paper everywhere around. That was the same in the following morning, the Sanitätanlagen were still dirty. Too bad for such a system.

Nice service, mostly clean facilities, nice surroundings indeed, it's sweden.

The place is OK. You have the choice whether you would like to stand close to the playground or outside on the cliff. Both have beach. There's a nice coffee. The sanitary facilities are typically very clean like for Schwden. That one or other of facilities does not work however. Boats (Sit-On-tops) and bicycles can be rented. Nearby, there is a fun bath eun a railway museum. The front desk is very friendly.
