Wow, where to start… Upon arrival they couldn't find one out of two reservations and instead of apologising the owner claimed that we had cancelled the booking (which we obviously hadn't). After a long discussion they realised that we had two reservations and managed to find a "staff room" for us since all other rooms were taken. After a few hours they changed the room to an ordinary room (most likely the one we had booked for the beginning). Theoretically this would have been fine, HOWEVER, when checking out they tried to make it sound like they had done us a favour by getting us the room (!? ), and also wanted to charge for it. As we could prove that the room had been paid for already (through the reservations we had made) they let it go… still no apology. Ridiculous. I understand that things might get messed up sometimes, but to handle it this way is unacceptable. It seemed that we weren't the only guests with similar problems. Do yourselves a favour, an find another place to stay when at Marstrand. I am sure there are places where the owner have manners.
