Was told if you haven’t got anything good to say its better to say nothing at all. Concier really really wanted my fiancé’s number to get back in touch about with what went wrong, she never got back in touch…

Good rooms. Excellent wines although not all of The staff where educated to present them. I dont blame them though — huge impressive wine list.

Very nice historic building, too bad for the corridors of access to the not very manicured rooms. Rooms large and clean but no air conditioning. The receptionist, generally very kind, helpful and professional, for my complaints about the absence of the air conditioner replied: "It's a historic building! " and shortly after brought me an old table fan in the room. Very funny!
Excellent buffet breakfast: varied, plentiful and great quality food.

We had the köttbullar, which were amazing! Service was great too.

Had dinner in the Bistro and I could not have been more satisfied. The Bistro staff are amazing both friendly and talanted at their job. The food reeks of quality and is beautifuly presented and tastes very fresh. HUGE selection of drinks such as beers spirits and plenty of other liquors. A dinner for two costs around 600-800 krs which is a great price for this location and quality. 5/5 go there whenever you can.

Wonderful atmosphere, very pleasant staff. Great breakfast. Most services works really well although the room could definitely been cleaned better.

Very nice for a smaller meeting in the restaurant with few people. I missed "lighter lunch" options on the menu. Also, the furnitures had stains on them, which isn't really what I expect from a place like grand hotel. And the prizes, well yeah it's also quite grand.

Nice place to stay for business trip. Bed are comfortable and room are clear. Since the price is a bit higher, there is nit much family with smsll kids. Breakfast are great. It's very close to train station. Reception arr friendly. No air condition. Room is a bit old and the side closed to street is a bit noisy. Free espresso machine located at hallway. The light switch is a bit strange. You cannot cintrol it from your bedside, but at the entry hall. Overall, if you are traveling for business, this is good. For family travellers, this is overpriced.

Had a few beers and a shrimp sandwich with a group of friends. The restaurant is very classy and the service was good, but I really dont think the shrimp sandwich tastes good enough for the price and the selection of beer is unimpressive.

Great atmosphere in the bar although it lacks any smaller and cozy area. The new extension, with large glass windows, has a nice view of the nearby streets and people passing by. Last time I was there I ordered "any dark beer" and to my surprised was told they don't have that. Presumably it was just a temporary outage but still a bit disappointing for a bar area of that size.

Grand hotel in Lund is a lovely place. I haven't spent the night there but that restaurant is frequently visited by us. The food is very good, the environment is nice and the waiters are great.

Great location right in the middle of town. Excellent service, if sometime Abit confused. Really nice food, do go for dinner in the Dining Room. Excellent Nordic cuisine without being overly fancy. The room we stayed in was nice and big (tower room), but did feel a bit dated. It's Grand, but not Luxury.

One of the best places in Lund.

I was rather not satisfied with the restaurant. We asked the waiter to advise us on quantities in order to have a full dinner. Ordered a fish course that came without any sort of side dish. Really good but definitely not a dinner if you ask me. When we complained we got to know that what we had ordered was rather a “taste experience” (that expression was new to me. ). On a positive side, they acknowledge the mistake and offered us coffee and chocolate.

Very disappointed with the service. Went there for afterwork on Friday, got charged 40kr for putting my clothes at the cloak room. It only says 20kr at the sign and NO ONE EVER informed me that my second blazer would cost another 20kr (They only told me that when I checked out).
I went to the reciption to ask about it and the reception turned me away. Yes people who go here might have a bit extra in the pockets, but it doesn't mean they should not be informed and pay for the hidden fees.
I'm asking is it ok to misrepresent the price customers expect to pay? Or is this just my experience?

Very nice weekend getaway place. It's quite upscale, compared to other hotels in the area. I can highly recommend a visit to their Piraten bar as well.

The most grand place in Lund. Loved the interiors design if the place. The food was delicious and perfect!

Interior is nice but fridays DJ is playing way to loud as people at that time (after work) like to be able to take a glas of wine (85 SEK) and talk to each other. I would instead recommend the lounge/bar area where the restaurant is.

Stayed only one night but it was a disaster. Very bad sleep, partly my jetlag but more importantly the continuous noise from vents and stuffy air in the room. Bathroom ugly (tho functional), minibar atrocious. Hairdryer not working, and the hotel gym/sauna “under renovation”. All in all a really boring 18 h at an otherwise imrpressive-looking facility. I still gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the oysters in the bistro dinner were pretty good. However the duck that followed felt a bit like my sleepless night: uninspiring, lukewarm, and almost endless. And the breakfast buffet was at a high class Nordic standard. Except the coffee which was etc etc.

It is a cozy place and excellent attention, not economical, it is located in the city center.

Had brunch there. The food is very similar to what you may have for breakfast any other day, but they have ALL of it, not just one type. You like yoguht? Done. You like bread? Done. You like cheese? Done. You want omelet? Done. You want slow cooked chicken? Belgian waffle? Sausage? DONE, DONE DONE. It's pretty good.

Good drinks, nice sceneries because of the very old building, 1898. Food is good as well, but some dishes came out cold. Service was really good but I prefer to go there for the drinks, as they have a large selection to choose from.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and spacious, but our great dinner was not thanks to the food. The ginger glazed ribs lacked flavor and the ginger was nowhere to be found (not to mention there wasn't a whole lot of ribs at all), and while the whisky meat balls were nice I couldn't tell if they were made with any whisky in them.

We were taken here for a business lunch, the setting's surrounding the hotel both internal and external were highly decorated with an classic setting. The food was incredibly tasting and also the way it was presented.

Beautiful dining room and bar area, spacious and relaxing even though they get very busy. Menu is trad Swedish (pickled herring is excellent) and they do a lunch special every week day. The bar staff and waiters will take excellent care of you here!

We absolutely loved this place. We had lunch here on a day trip to Lund. I would highly recommend this place.

Rooms are classy but not large. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet with hot and traditional choices. Highly recommended! Dinner might be overpriced so I did not eat there.
