Nice place, comfortable and quiet.

Nice rooms, nice food, good service.

I was happy with the visit. Nice rooms and building, located centrally and good breakfast.

Good place. Nice song and people.

Pros: location and price is good. Breakfast is ok. cons: very old and need of restoration. Mold growing in the toiletts. I had once a room which smelled that we had to change.

Great location. A little to much on the decorative side, but nice and clean. Breakfast was fine. All in all a good experience.

This hotel not only allows dogs but also treats them like human guests ♡ The room came with a doggy bed (huge! ), food and water bowls. I have read the bad reviews but our room wasn't anything like they described. It was renovated and fresh. Sure, the hotel is in an old building and it feels outdated. But I felt like it was as good as it gets for the price and the location (right in the center of the city! ) The receptionists are super friendly and helpful, too :-) They don’t have their own parking. You can either park at Åhléns parking for 80kr overnight (it closed at 21:30 but the hotel has the key if you need to go get something in your car), or on the street by the main square "Stora torget" for 13kr per hour (Between 16:00 and 9:00 next day is free of charge). We parked on the street and it ended up being cheaper.

Kolacja w formie "szwedzkiego stołu" po 40 minutach oczekiwania składała się z ziemniaków z wody I ryby w sosie śmietanowym. Skończyło się jedzenie (paskudne) na 30 osobie. Reszta czekała godzinę na ziemniaki I surowe warzywa. To że Szwedzi jedzą jak świnie to ich sprawa ale taka kolacja w 4-gwiazdkowym hotelu, w brudzie I syfie to SKANDAL. Na drugi dzień ten skandal powtórzył się. Such DNA and dirt like the FIRST STATT Karlskrona hotel I have seen anywhere in the world, they have 4 stars, pure mockery. Dinner in the form of a "Swedish table" after 40 minutes of waiting consisted of potatoes from water and fish in cream sauce. We ended up eating (nasty) for 30 people. The rest waited for one hour for potatoes and raw vegetables. That the Swedes eat pigs is their business but such a dinner in a 4 star hotel, dirt and syrup is SKANDAL. On the second day this scandal was repeated. Sådan smuts och skit inte se hur jag lever I alla hotell I världen, I synnerhet som ett 4-stjärnigt hotell First Statt Karlskrona. Middag var tänkt att vara I form av en "smörgåsbord ". Efter snäpp väntade 40 minuter för en buffé, som det visade sig fisk och potatis I gräddsås. Shocker. Vid 30 är en person som äter över. Efter en timme, rapporterade de till den återstående såsen efter fisk potatis Garza.

It's a cozy place in the middle of town. The building is historic so the outside numbers may seem old. But they're very clean and comfortable inside. Good breakfast. In front of the store and several bars.

This hotel is located in the city center. That is wonderful. You can see beautiful shops, churches and historical monuments. This is also great. The furniture looks strange. Various styles and any idea. Nevertheless, the next time I will choose this hotel.

We were at the FIRST HOTELfor two weeks it was a great service, cheerful response / welcoming from the front desk. Then it was a too joyful response / welcoming and very very good food in the restaurant. A good service too. So we highly recommend this hotel & English Pub.

Nice hotel and staff. Only issues are that the breakfast is a bit limited in options and forget about using the lift — too small and very slow. Ask about the special car parking rate at the nearby car park.

Nice, even if an old Hotel. Very friendly staff. The Hotel's Pub is recommended.

Nice place to stay… im staying here from over a month now, so I can say ppl here are genuinely gud (nearly all of them). They have some nice antique items, furniture. N paintings (colour/ taper print). Purely a best European feel.

Food was great, just too many meat.

This would be a great hotel, if you'd simply need a place to sleep at night. But at a rate of 100€/night for a small singlebed room, one expect something more. The only non-Swedish channel is BBC World and the Wi-Fi connection is so horrible slow that using GPRS was way faster. The room is pretty worn but clean. My view was to a concrete wall/rooftop 50cm outside my window, so that wasn't to well either. And the hotel doesn't have any parkingspace, but refers to a nearby public parking facility, that charges 10€/day.
