Beach staff were incredibly rude to us, specifically the beach manager named Walter. If you're spending a lot of money then it seems like you can buy their manners though. Beach was okay, nothing incredibly special.

Spotlessly clean, attentive and helpful staff, great location, superb beaches. Enjoy.

I don’t know how this resort does it, but they make you feel like you’re the only one here, yet with one request anything is available to you at your fingertips. The staff was amazing, the service impeccable, the country beyond beautiful, and the private tour of the volcanic mud baths and gardens was fantastic. We managed to snorkel every day steps away from our bungalow and below the Piton mountains. We were lucky enough to see beautiful sunsets, meet interesting people, sail the island, and swim daily in the emerald crystal clear water off the black sand volcanic beach. To say it was the trip of a lifetime is an understatement. We’re very thankful for the perfect Honeynoon. 🥂🍾

The staff make your stay absolutely wonderful. And you simply cannot find snorkeling this good, particularly right off the beach! One of a kind stay!

Anse Chastanet takes very good care of you. Scented cold cloths upon welcome, popsicles on the beach, the food is excellent, the staff are friendly and excellent, the snorkeling is amazing, the Beach suites are amazing, the beaches are amazing, the activities are plentiful, and the scenery is amazing! All good things!

Every single staff member, from greeters to groundskeeping, was friendly and helpful and kind. The property is breathtaking, the dive shop is top notch.

The staff are amazing, courteous and simply phenomenal. The food was delicious and I think it's safe to say that it's one of the few places I couldn't find a single negative. I especially enjoyed the personal touch of the chef coming to each table and having a quick chat with guests after dinner. And the live band left me speechless. This is my new favorite place.

The resort, the staff, the food, and the diving are all exceptional! The grounds are beautiful and you’re constantly pampered by the staff! The reefs are healthy, loaded with marine life… the valet dive staff are experienced and provide an excellent diving experience.
I look forward to returning.

We visited beach as guests, via water taxi. Staff was not welcoming and actually seemed irritated most of the time. Lunch was delicious and its right on the beach!

This place is amazing! The best place we’ve ever stayed at by far. Yes it’s not cheap but the attention to detail and effort they go to, I think makes it worth it. We were only there a week but the staff quickly remembered our names and made us feel at home and like we were their only customers.
We stayed in the rooms on the beach and they were very nicely presented, the bathroom is big and modern, the bedroom is a good size and the doors can be opened onto the garden area where you can sit and relax (take lots of bug repellent, it’s a jungle).
The beach has plenty of shade where you can hide from the sun when it gets too hot, there’s service too so you can get drinks and food on the beach. The water is calm here because it’s not on the Atlantic side so you can easily swim in it even if you’re not a confident swimmer.
The food in the Indian restaurant was world class. Breakfast if anything could be improved, it’s not very adventurous in my opinion and pretty much what you’d get in any hotel.
I would go back here in a heartbeat, got to save up again first though.

Best hotel I have ever been to. Everyone is unbelievably nice. There are so many tours and there is always something to do like scuba diving and snorkeling. Their food is so well prepared. The beach is so calm with employees walking around helping you. There is no A. C in your hotel room and the Wi-Fi isn’t the best but it doesn’t ruin the experience that I had!

We don’t normally do resorts as such. Coming here for our honeymoon was a great idea. There are a lot of staff here, so you are well looked after, but in a very chilled out way. Don’t worry about the hillside either. You can borrow a cell (mobile) phone, call the operator and request a pick up from your apartment to the beach. Request one at the beach bar for the return trip when you’re ready.
There’s a good number of complimentary activities as well as paid for excursions.
The staff are excellent and add to the stay. The food is superb. The view excellent. The beach has free snorkel kit, you can go scuba diving etc and the jazzy sunset cruise was brilliant with a sax player and singer, rum punch, nibbles and champagne.
We had some bar time and meals with a couple that were in the next apartment that were on the same flight as us and also a Canadian couple. Great fun indeed.
We will miss this place, but it will stay with us forever.

Beautiful place to visit for a couple days, secluded. If you stay longer, be aware the food selection is limited if you do not eat meat. Additionally, to get off the property by foot is a very long and tiring walk. The road to the resort looks like it has been bombed the entire length. If you get motion sickness of any kind this is not a good way to enter or exit the facility. If you want a room with AC, you are at the base of the mountain by the beach. If y9u want to go to breakfast, it is 180 steps up. The AC equipped room I stayed in was full of mold and mildew and I got sick. I could not wait to leave. The staff was very friendly and seemed to care to a point. To order room service, you need to go outside to a phone on a pole. Very expensive for what you get.

Rustic Caribbean Luxury which is difficult to deliver but this resort does it well. Fantastic hillside rooms and the best food I've had at any resort in St Lucia. Staff are very genuine and you really become part of the family if you wish to be. Local bands provide exceptional evening entertainment.

Best place for scuba and intimate vacation. The people here are the nicest, sweetest people who are genuine when it comes to taking care of tourists.

Excellent hotel. It is the type of resort that tryes to offer everything in one place so you never need to look elsewhere. Normally we don't like this type of resort and prefer to explore on our own but this one offers a lot of options both inside the resort as well as excursions outside and it does all it offers extremely well. Would definitely go back.

Can’t praise Anse Chastanet Resort (ACR) enough for our experience there. We feel like we experienced the best of the Caribbean in St. Lucia and the best of St. Lucia at ACR. Go all inclusive, ask for Room 1A, and be sure to have dinner up at Jade Mountain, the sister resort. Staff was outstanding, food was exquisite. Worth every penny.

One of the best snorkeling sites off the beach here, beautiful coral reefs and tons of marine life. The black sand beach was pretty cool as well.

Rooms open to the view, gorgeous accommodations, helpful, attentive staff, gorgeous beaches and a wide range of activities make this resort a unique getaway!

The dive centre is very well run by a team of excellent staff, the beach bar was great too!

Really enjoyed my stay here. We had an amazing room overlooking the pitons. Staff were very friendly, food good and substantial. Beaches were great with best snorkelling we have seen in the Caribbean. My husband went diving and said most professional dive centre he has been too.

This is a very luxurious hotel with a lovely and attentive staff. This is a dream hotel with an amazing Beach and the sea is filled with exotic fish.

The architectural concept, that of rooms open to nature, is perfect. The execution fails in a few key areas: Live music every night until 10pm is a problem when your open rooms were designed to let in the sounds of nature. The hotel restaurants do not really offer you a taste of creole food (Apsara food tastes nothing like local st lucian food in the towns). The hotel is on a cliff side with long steep walks to and from the beach and no phone/service in the rooms or buggy service to transport less mobile guests around. On the plus side the hotel staff are very friendly and the two beaches of Anse Chastenet and Anse Mamin are among the most beautiful on the island. There is a dive centre on site and hotel guests have access to free non-motorised water sports.

We went out for our honeymoon and I couldn't think of a better place. Food was in, staff were friendly and fun to be around and the room was incredible!

Diving is incredible. Food is incredible. The Grounds are magnificent. The view… man… The staff is friendly. The dive staff is amazing! Especially Gigi, Jay and Bradley. Everything is on point here. Hands down the best resort I've stayed at. You definitely want to stay here!

Everything is amazing at Anse Chastanet Resort. The service is beyond excellent and the food… divine. Totally enjoyed every minute of my weekend spent there.

An absolute gem. We stayed here for our honeymoon and am so glad we did. You won't find better customer service anywhere. The rooms/villas are amazing, views are beautiful, and their restaurants are fantastic. You definitely need to get the all inclusive plan because the food is very expensive otherwise, but the all inclusive is absolutely worth it. Aspara, their Indian inspired restaurant, was my favorite, and every meal was awesome. Most of the food comes from their organic farm, Emerald Estate, located on the grounds, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. We were very lucky to get upgraded halfway through our stay to their 5 star sister resort Jade Mountain, which sits just above Anse Chastanet. Anse Chastanet is paradise, but Jade Mountain is heaven on earth. Due to the beauty, customer service, and the food, I would recommend Anse Chastanet to anyone. This is the Carribean the way it used to be.
I worked as a divemaster in the USVI on and off for almost 8 years in the 70's and 80's. The reefs were gorgeous and the resorts and dive ops very customer centered. This has not been the experience of many colleagues of late. Our last Caribbean dive trip in 2012 was very disappointing especially the dive operation itself.
My wife and I are avid divers although usually in Papua New Guinea or Indonesia so we're very "spoiled". The diving at Anse Chastanet far exceeded our expectations… not only the gorgeous pristine reefs full of life, but the professionalism and warmth of the Scuba St. Lucia dive staff, the friendly, warm accommodating staff of Anse Chastanet, our wonderful room, and the fabulous food.
Thank You Anse Chastanet for fabulous week. You are now our go to dive resort in the Caribbean.

FANTASTIC! The only place to be on the island.

Beach is amazing, resort is over priced. But I loved it.

We honeymooned at Anse Chastanet and it was perfect. Friendly staff and great food but most of all great surroundings! It is so beautiful. Our room had views of the pitons which we hiked up one day. Oh how I would love to go back.

Not as lovely as Oahu. Or Kauai. Or Maui. Over priced and over hyped island.

We have visited 8 times since 2000 and had a wonderful time each visit. The food is fabulous as are the staff especially Peter, (who has become dear friend) Junior and Abu We always stay in the premium rooms with a wonderful view of the Pitons. Even though it takes 2 days to get there from New Mexico I would give it a 5. Although Anse Chastanet is nice quiet place, the evening music by the locals is brilliant.

I thought that before the real world sets back in I would write a review of our week at Anse Chastanet. I would rate the entire vacation a 4.5 out of 5. The loss of 0.5 is due to the fact that we were unable to return to East Tennessee within a single day on any airline. I would rate the resort, meals and the diving as 5 out of 5. This includes the dive staff, on par with the best I have seen in the Caribbean, and all the hotel staff. Everyone appears to work hard to make sure that guests have a relaxing and fun vacation. One item I should mention, which both my wife and I enjoyed, is no Wi-Fi access accept in the reception area, and no TV. What Anse Chastanet is not is a hard core diving resort with the late night parties that I have observed at other locations, where I did not return. What Anse Chastanet and Scuba Saint Lucia are, is some of the best macro photography and drift diving that I have observed in my many years of diving in the South Atlantic, Gulf, and Caribbean. We dive once a year for over 20 years now. The majority of dive sites are within 20 minutes of the resort so a return between dives is a given, 2 morning dives and an afternoon dive is optional. Best dives are Fairyland, Superman's flight and Corral garden. Also do not underestimate the shore night dive from the Anse Chastanet bay. The meals in the three restaurants were as good for the price as that in Manhattan.

Great for romantic getaways for couples. Popular with weddings. Ocean views from all bungalows. Brilliant for hanging outdoors. Dive shop on site! Try the helicopter taxi.
