We spent our honeymoon in the Hilltop Mango cottage and it was the best holiday ever! The plantation is gorgeous; it is lush and tropical and full of wildlife, and we spent most evenings either on our balcony listening to the birds or down in the bar enjoying the amazing cocktails. The people are as vibrant as the landscape and so very helpful — they practically bend over backwards to make their guests' stays the best they can be. Perfect setting, attentive staff, a wide range of activities and a great tasting menu. We will be back in 5 years for our anniversary!

This is a great local resort for those who wants to know about st. Lucia and its local treats. Great food and drinks. My husband and I had a great time. Also peaceful and friendly environment.

Had dinner there with my best friend and cousin. We were celebrating LIFE. We were welcomed by the owner at the main bar. We had a cocktail each. I would definitely recommend that you try Cocoa Fond Doux, great cocktail. Dinner was delicious we each had something different. Compliments to the chef. The music was great. The whole atmosphere of this place is friendly from the entrance going in. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place to enjoyed great food, cocktails and music. I would highly recommend Fond Doux Plantation and Resort. Five stars in my book. Definitely going back there soon.

We visited for the tour of the plantation and lunch. Really excellent experience friendly and welcoming. Food tasted great and service was top notch.

We stayed at three locations during our time in St Lucia and Fond Doux was our favorite! It was such a warm, friendly staff with excellent service and a context rich in culture and history. We are already planning our next visit!

Magical. This is St Lucia. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by staff on the extensive and beautiful grounds. The restaurant consistently delivered delicious meals and lovely chats with Alec, the bartender. The breakfast options were plentiful including traditional St Lucian options like bake and accra along with continental fare. We stayed in Nutmeg which is the villa at the highest elevation at Fond Doux. I don’t suggest staying in one of the more elevated rooms if you have difficulty walking, but if you can, it’s worth it. Outside on the veranda, we were surrounded by star fruit, bananas and of course, cocoa. The outdoor shower was a treat. And how could you not be at rest listening to those sounds? Can’t wait to go back. Additionally, Fond Doux is pretty closely located to most of the popular attractions in the south which makes it highly convenient.

We stayed at 3 places in St Lucia! This was our favorite. Be aware, there is no A/C… so if you're coming the summer, opt for a place with air conditioner. Otherwise, Fond Doux is definitely the way to go. Great food, and staff! The plantation grounds are so lush, green, dense, beautiful and the cottages are so charming! We went in mid-May, and it was borderline for being too hot. It wd be ideal from October to May. We love St Lucia!

I have visited for the day several times. (Have never stayed overnight. ) The cocoa estate tour is interesting and informative: there is an explanation of how cocoa is harvested and prepared, and you are also shown various local trees and flowers on the estate. Take your camera for great pics if you are into flower/nature photography! The local lunch served with the tour is beyond delicious. If you're hanging out for the day, there is a bar that serves local coctails, and a restaurant with an a la carte menu that serves both universal faves, like burgers, and local fare, like roti and creole fish. Perhaps one of the loveliest surprises is an absolutely beautiful trio of small pools in the mountainside that you can reach with a short trek uphill. A must visit if you go to St. Lucia.

What a beautiful experience! Lush mature gardens, friendly staff and the owners serve as hospital hosts! If you are ever in Saint Lucia, this is a must-visit location in the pictureque Soufriere!

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Rounded of by staff that is genuine friendly and always trying to make your wishes come true. They may not always act according to international standard hotel staff protocol that one is used to from sandals & co. But the genuine care for the guest is what makes this special. If you are looking for "The Sandals Experience", Well, go to Sandals. If you want to meet St. Lucia, come here.

We didn't stay here but booked a tour through Fond Deux garten done by their guide Omo. He was soooo good — shared really interesting infos about all the different plants, their usage and the history of the place. Was one of the best things we did on st Lucia. We booked the tour with Lunch and the food was also really good.

Even if you dont stay as overnight guest, sample the food and walk around the splendid, exotic gardens. The colours and views are spectacular. Food good too!

Great staff and attentive service. Breakfast buffet is great. Loved the welcome flowers and the valentines chocolates in the room. Restaurant has great options but is a little pricey.

Amazing 200 year old house we stayed in. Very attentive and friendly staff. Close to some good attractions.

Experience saint Lucia at this cute little plantation. Staff was friendly. Went for lunch and the coco tour. Lunch was a buffet of all local food. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Little souvenir shop on site. Really cool outdoor restrooms.

Working cocoa plantation transformed into decent 24-cottage resort, well run by owner occupants who've built a highly-helpful and intelligent staff. Not another stuffy pretentious place — just a un and highly educational one. A truly-great refreshing experience.

+ The resort is amazing :) Our cottage with the swimming pool was beautiful and comfortable. We were on the top of the hill so the view was like in the heaven :) Soufrière is really close to the resort and the Sugar beach, also. The staff is really helpful and kind. The small lizards in the cottages and the outside were really nice.
— 3 days in the morning we didn't have water in the cottage, but they solved the problem about 1-2 hours.

This place is stunning! I've never been anywhere quite like it. The cottages are all set privately amongst the rainforest with breathtaking views. So many flowers, trees and fruits growing all around us. Very peaceful with just the sounds of nature. Excellent food! As we're veggie there was lots of choice, fresh veg, salads and fruits. We've only been here 24 hours and we're talking about coming back!

The most romantic place on the island. If your worried about no A. C. You will be just fine. This was one of my biggest wiry and almost didn't stay because I was worried about it but with the plunge pool and the regular pool we were very comfortable. Staff was amazing and dip friendly. Although everyone we had communication with on the island were very nice Fond Doux staff were some of the nicest.

Such a beautiful… natural and homey place to visit… best hospitable staff ever … and the greatest food!
Just love the amazing old farm tools… garden walks and the amazing crops which abound everywhere and used for cooking in the delectable restaurant … have visited on many occasions this wonderful jewel of a location … keep up the good work!

Extremely nice hotel and exceptionally good value for the price. Super nice staff and cottages/plantation houses. I would recommend this to everyone. I just love the porch with the rocking chairs with a piton in my hand at night.
