After reading mixed reviews, I thought that I was taking risks by booking Royal St Kitts Hotel but I was wrong. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this place! Charming grounds, chill vibes, a beautiful room and unbeatable location. We booked a studio and it was spacious, well furnished and spotless. The bed and the pillows were super comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make our own meals most days, especially with the supermarket on the corner where we could pick up groceries daily.
We are big beach people and the beach across the road was gorgeous. Lots of beach chairs always, never too many people. We also took advantage of the gym which offered a lot more than you’d normally expect from a hotel. Not once had we a problem with water mentioned in other reviews.
We didn’t rent a car but it was easy to get a taxi to go places. If you book a tour, you’ll get picked up right from the hotel. Out of restaurants nearby, we’ve tried Buddha Bar and absolutely loved it. And visiting Cockleshell Beach is a must.
All in all, great experience on our first visit of St Kitts and very grateful to Royal Hotel for being such a lovely home for us for a week.

What we loved most about this hotel was its location and amenities. It has two beautiful pools, two restaurants that serve amazing food and drinks and warm, kind, friendly staff. It was so awesome to have a kitchen in our room, especially when there was a grocery store one minute away! The beach is right across the street. The lively Frigate Bay with a Beautiful Beach, restaurants, and nightlife was a 20 minute walk away.   We loved this hotel and will be back again!

What a fantastic experience we’ve had at this hotel! The rooms are beautiful and so well equipped. Both the pools are just lovely and the hotel is in a fantastic location. Supermarket so close with beach and lovely restaurants and bars easily walkable. The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful, they helped me organise a rainforest tour, car hire and many other things! I’d like to personally thank them all — especially Shermain Paul who went above and beyond!

Having just arrived back home yesterday and reminiscing about the wonderful experience and time my family and I had in St Kitts, staying at Royal St Kitts was the best decision we made. Not only is the hotel clean and comfortable, but having the luxury of a kitchenette, with 2 young children made out stay there much more enjoyable. The food at the hotel was wonderful especially our Valentine’s Day dinner. The amount of effort the beautiful staff made to make the dinner and experience a good one was like no other place I’ve been. All the staff at the hotel quickly became friends that I truly miss. The hotel manger made such an effort to ensure our stay was a good one and we even got to meet the management team with a complimentary drink and appetizers. Frigate bay is the place to be. To the hotel staff Angel, Mel, Jessica, Michelle, Desiree and the cleaning staff who were just so kind, thank you so much…

A newly renovated hotel, well furnished suites, good location, friendly staff.

I stayed here for roughly over a year and the living experience exponentially got worse as the staff changed and new management was brought in. Your ‘needs’ are not their worry or care at all. As long as you pay your rent, don’t complain about the ridiculous overpricing and are white then this is just the place for you! Pros: Forgot who the security manager is (mile I think) but he is really the only good hearted person here Cons: >The water is supplied by the country or government or whomever and is shut off every now then. >The washers will ruin your clothes (ripped mine and management said to my face that they don’t care its not their problem and I just don’t know how to do laundry) > if you live on the bottom floor then your ‘porch’ is essentially a insect breeding ground >their cleaning staff allowed my cat to escape because of their clumsiness and DID NOT TELL ME THIS! I figured it out as I came home and my cat was panting and it just seemed off because the rooms arent that big that he would get so out of breath and usually when the cleaning staff is there he just sits and watches them. As I questioned my gf if she left anything out that he may have eaten and he’s getting a reaction the cleaning lady on her way out says she left the screen door open while cleaning and he escaped just as she closes the door and go to the next room to clean. > thats another thing. If you have pets. This place is no longer pet friendly! They have like 20 new restrictions for pets.

Rooms are pretty modern and updated recently. This is a renovation of the old jack tar hotel and it’s been done in a very chic and stylish fashion. Pool available, game room with billiards, restaurants and bar. A gym is also available.

This is very modern and chic. The rooms have full amenities and are fairly large. My room overlooked the ocean and had an awesome view. There are two drawbacks there are no elevators and in my room the air condition did not work well. The hotel is right across from a new mall that is building with a supermarket and restaurant it is also in walking distance from a number of other eating places.

The Hotel is newly renovated and the rooms are great. The accommodations are lovely.

The Marriot Hotel was always my favourite place but decided to try The ROyal St. Kitts since someone told me it was nice. I have to say the the service is great especially the receptionist I came into contact with when I first called, Delisa Browne, she is par excellence to say she is a new member of staff. Kudos Delisa, keep doing what you are doing. The rooms are great, price is good and the ambience is wonderful. The only downside to my weekend stay was that the bathroom is not comforting. I prefer the tub type of shower where one can lay down and relax.

Royal St Kitts – THE NEW MARRIOT Royal St Kitts is a newly renovated property and I would rate it five stars. From seeing the rooms at the Marriott I would say this hotel wins hands down. Each room is fitted with a 42inch flat screen and very comfy bed. Kitchen has microwave, kettle, fridge and all the amenities to cook a very nice meal. The kitchen has been very well thought through. Living area nice again with modern furniture. We are not keen on floral decor and prefer a modern contemporary feel. This ticked all the boxes. Sliding doors opened up onto the balcony and again perfect. We had food from the pool bar called Splash and again very nice. We stayed here for four weeks and could stay here for six months easily. Pools are clean nice and you will not fight for a lounger here as plenty of empty loungers. Internet connection is rapid with good signal. Gym is first class and probably the best on the island. Staff very friendly at reception always on entrance and exit. Lots of security. If I could give my review in one word it would be OUTSTANDING. Josh, Darren and team thank you from Mo and Dee. I have always stayed at the Marriott across the street. Checked this place out. Wow. I love it. Moved over here right away. This place is wonderful. Everything is new. AC is perfect and quiet. Staff are helpful. 3 restaurants and a bar to choose from. My balcony has a great view. I am content as a very frequent traveler.

Recently remodeled so the place looks beautiful. Service is just okay. The indian restaurant inside has very slow service and is very overpriced. Food is decent.
