It's a beautiful place with beautiful service.
We get one night stay FB basis with 30 office members. * First staff asks to get lunch between 12.30-1.30 only, after a few arguments with the staff they okay to make it a full-time buffet. * There was power down from time to time, even without a power cut. At night after the sudden power back all the lights in the room are on even we are off them and it disturbs us to sleep. * There is a lack of parking spaces, and they do not even care about it. They asked to park if there is a free space, otherwise, do anything needed. * In the morning (around 6AM) there were no water in rooms. * Noisy rooms * Some rooms are given without water bottles, tea bags, and sugar. *** There is a manager (Dumidu, as I remember the name tag) who does not know how to speak to customers. Do not arrange anything without telling him 🤣. He will come and blame customers and his staff for that. I will never recommend Amora Lagoon.

Spend a week end with a group, but we have not received the expected hospitality from the hotel. Honestly foods were tasty but hotel staff took us away from holiday mood — as we were experiencing a lot of issues from the time we entered. There were few wedding functions happened at the hotel and due that security was very tough in allowing our vehicle to get in. No support from hotel staff to unload the baggage either. When entered to the triple room, realized it has only 2 comfortable double beds, other one is just a sofa extended as a bed by connecting 3 cushion sheets. Next bad experience happened following day morning, when we realized no water is coming to wash rooms. They fixed the water issue after some time and Even the staff didn't say sorry about the trouble we all faced. Even Though our team want to have some outdoor activity, no any facility by hotel. Had to visit the supermarket out there to find a vollyball or badminton racket. We were fooled by the photo in website with a boat, assuming we could go for a boat ride. There is a good pool and not crowded. But it was not cleaned at even 10.00 AM, baby pool was very dirty. Restaurant is good, had some good music there. But staff was trying to push us to take our meals very quickly suggesting us to finish our lunch before 1.30 PM. Rooms were cleaned. If staff can be little more flexible and improve the hospitality, this nice physical property will get more value than this.
