We had 2 days booking with laluna through an agency called amara lanka from travel triangle. We could not stay there for more than 11 hours. Rooms were not only small but dirty and smelling bad. Bathroom was very small and towels were not clean and you can not have extra one. Soup was having mosquito and I showed that to waiter he just took the bowl back and never said sorry or came back. We both (me and my husband) got bad stomach infection with in this short span of time. All the photos posted here for the rooms and garden they are fake. It is like a govt holidayhome where no service is available. They did not even have the courtesy to ask the reason for early check out. They got money so not bothered about what guest is suffering! It was a true hell where I do not want to send anyone!

Resort is very good with a private water sports activity. Food is also good. You can relax on the Riverside.

Great location near the river and nice spa service they have. Also if you like you can go boat safari and jetsky.

فندق جدا رائع الغرف واسعه و باردة ، فيها جميع الخدمات ، هذه زيارتي الثانيه للفندق و الموظفين جميعهم ودودين و خدومين ، موقع الفندق مميز حيث أنه على النهر و يمكنك اخذ قارب مجانا من الفندق الى البحر الصافي و الأمواج العاليه و الهدوء ، من مميزات الفندق هو وجود منطقة الانشطه النهريه مثل البنانا بوت و الكياك و العاملين فيه محترفين و بعض السياح من الفنادق الأخرى يجون فقط عشان الانشطه هذي ، يوجد مسبح متوسط للحجم مطلع على النهر ، سعر الفندق مقارنه بالفنادق المجاورة لها يعتبر الأرخص ، الموظفين منتشرين في كل مكان و خدومين ، يعتبر من افضل الفنادق في بنتوتا من ناحيه الخدمات و الموقع و السعر شكرا لكم النامس كثير في الليل لكنهم حريصين على وضع طاردات النامس و الحشرات في الغرف و البلكونات ، لا يوجد مصعد للغرف ، واجهنا مشكله عند الانشطه النهريه وهي اننا دفعنا مبلغ لعده العاب مرا واحده و عندما أردنا استرداد مبلغ لعبه رفض المسؤول بقوله إن الفاتورة قد كتبت ولا يمكن إلغائها ، هذه المشكله الوحيدة.

Good view, bad service and rooms. What I mean by bad service is that the room didn't come with blankets and when I asked for it the didn't respond, multiple times! And what makes it worst is that the shampoo they give you is in a small plastic bags like ketchup packets! Which is not enough to wash your hair from the salty water. I'm not a negative person, I have really enjoyed my stay, but I don't think I'll be there again. Please LIKE the review if you found it helpful.

Superb location amidst the lagoon. We had a fantastic room with swimming pool access from the room… amazing food… friendly staff… water sports adventure ppl can enjoy a gala time.

It's a place you can do ayurweda treatment for you body as well as all the water games. Friendly environment. Good food. And much more fun. They have special group packages. Wonderful hospitality. Kids special packagers. Good safe place. Go to. The map. And take. The. Direction. When you going from colombo you can reach place within 2hours.

The name itself says everything. Very nice place and water activities also available.

I had a 2 seconds talk with the "doctor", well the owner, who tried to sell me a massage of 2 hours for 54€. As I thought it was way over the price (I pay 25£ in London for 1h Thai massage), I decided to take only 1 hour. On top of all, the woman who massaged me explained me during the relaxing hour that she's not well paid and can't see her kids, and that she would like to have a tip. Massage rooms are on top of it very rustic and mold. To be avoided! Tourists trap.

I just love it. It's view with the swimming pool and the lake. Best resort in Bentota.

This resort has accommodations near to beach, spa and water sports facilities! If you have never done spa in your life, you can try here for full body massage in 5k LKR! They offer authenticated aayurvedic spa!

Awful. Did not like this place one bit. Reviews on the site is misleading. Maybe not as per our taste. We were booked by travel agent. Did not have switches working, could prepare coffee, was informed there is hot water in the tap. There wasn't. Very poor room service. Finally moved out from this place to stay at hikkadawa.

The cottages are very nicely kept and if you are lucky like me you may get one which pool side along the river its.

We were there for water sports. We used the Jetski and the staff was super friendly and skilled.

Nice view, Ayurveda massage is Good, water sports like ski, safari at affordable price, food is average, hospitality is good.

Beautiful place. Great Ambience. Excellent food. They have a ayurvedic spa and water sports as well… All in one place!

I don’t think I’ve been to such an amazing hotel where everything was so perfect.
The decoration of the flowers on the bed, the food, the views, the amazing beach.
The staff are honestly so great. They think of everything and are always so helpful. Thanks again guys for making our stay so perfect.

I've been there are several time with my clients very good place for the massage and the restaurant wonderful service thank you so much.

It's a beautiful place, clean and green, soothing and sits like a gem on the river bank. Service is quick and courteous. Water sports on the river and Ayurvedic massages are the specialty of the place. The quaint little town of aluthgama and the legend Geoffrey Bawa's estate close by are worth exploring. A wonderful experience to treasure!

Worst experience no proper service by the staff. Pictures look good but when you come you experience the worst service no proper Wi-Fi facility no telephone to call room service! No kettle in the room to make coffee! Not worthy to stay for the price we pay to them.

Hy was there today with my girlfriend there for massage and I must say it was very good! From full body massage to bath and friendly staff! is highly recommended!

Two of us arrived yesterday and was given a room on the 3rd floor with pleasant view to the estuary. Plenty of water sport and activities in this protected water. The hotel offer free boat shuttle to the other side of the island and after a 2 minutes walk to the Indian ocean. We went after breakfast and spend 2 wonderful relaxing hours walking the beach and swimming in the water. It was a pleasant experience. So far the food in the hotel restaurant was good with a BIG price (comparing to what locals would paid for :>). Overall, the staff has been very pleasant and helpful. Several things in the room did not work properly and the staff were quick to resolve most of them, may be with the exception of a single working channel TV. We would recommend this place.

The place is very accomadative and flexible! Friendly staff… Enjoyed the stay and all the water sports! would recommend to take all your amenities because it's not a luxury place but overall a lovely place would definitely go again!
