Superb hall with fantastic foods and dessert. My wedding was there on aug 2019. Good place to enjoy and also the management was so helpfull. I haven't enough words to say thank to their commitment in my wedding. Nice place.

Family Christmas holiday spent at the Sun and Moon Hotel. Could not have had a better experience. Food, staff, cleanliness and ambience is superb. Right on the river, close to the town for shopping and local attractions. The attentiveness of the staff is 5 star, they are all welcoming, caring and extremely pleasant, could not do enough to make our stay memorable and comfortable. No priblem reccomending this hotel. We will definately return. Would nit go anywhere else in this region.

I had my wedding there 2 months back. Food was average place is nice but service was very very poor. Very much below average. We had to ask the staff several times for the welcome drink to be served. Light went off several times but they didn’t had working backup generators. We were in dark for more than 30 mins. They didn’t even try to fix that until we tell them several times. There was nothing as they promised us and planned before. Literally they screwed up my wedding. After all they didn’t even bother to apologize for what happened. Please don’t waste your big day with them. We are very disappointed. I would have posted this earlier.

Also my wedding party celebrates, in this hotel, unfortunately when this happened I saw in front of my eyes bad attitude one of the Stuart and the manager, they don't know how to deal with the customer. We recommend on this hotel for lots of couple to make their wedding party in this hotel, but never ever recommend again) :) :) :

Right now I just had very bad experience which never had before.
I brought some liquor to the music band and put up on the table was left side of us. All the sudden one of waiter start to call me " shh. Sh… dont put up on this table and put on the other table on right side. " then I ask what is the deference. And he told me again with high voice dont put on this table. And he whent out and came back with the manager. I thought he might be generous to me because I am a one of guest to him. Very very sad to say. His customer handling is even bad. I am a hotelier. I really dont like to put this negative comment. But unfortunately I have to.

Nice location. Parking is limited and service is not satisfactory. Food is average.

Customer service and food items are good. They have average type pool and other back side face to river and boat trips are available. This place most suitable for couples more than families.

The Location is good with nice view. Food is good. Service is good. Parking space is bit limited because it will get full soon when vehicles parking. Sometimes vehicles needs to be parked outside if the car park is full and bit dangerous because its a main road with bus stand near to that. Also car park get flooded if its rains so be careful when parking in a suitable place. Becareful when you are walking if its rained outside and reception area floor may get slippery tile. Wash Rooms are ok. Alcohole may be served in a seperate location in request on the function.

This was a great place weddings and other functions. Has a small swimming pool and the hotel adjoined to the lagoon. It is suitable economy visitors and staff is very friendly. It has enough parking space. Access to the hotel is very easy since the main gate is open to the Colombo — Galle Road. Anyone can reach to the hotel easily by using Southern Expressway.

This hotel is popular with lovely and good place for functions. They have good halls for rent. Food Services is also good and delicious.

Visited the location on a company function, location is perfect for night party's. Food was good and Staff was friendly.

Very friendly people who greet you at the reception & that carries on all the way through to the people in the restaurant & kitchen they are all very smiley & extremely helpful and make your stay there really lovely & hassle free vey clean toilets and always keeping it look nice the food is very good especially thier Pizza but remember to order at least an hour before as it is made fresh & to perfection but well worth the wait! I love this place!

Stayed here 24th dec/6th Jan 2018 and what a great place all the staff will go out of there way to make sure you are a good stay foods great. Great location for beach or town. So if you get a chance stay here.

Located in a very comfortable place, next to the river and close to the main road. Nice service!

As a get wedding functions hall is good with ac. There is river boarder to hotel garden there is a place for get alcohol. But only trouble is there is no more shadows therefore sunlight directly come to ground.

Great time staying for a couple of weeks at this lovely, relaxing place. Lovely room with a great balcony to enjoy the wonderful view of the river. Walking distance to great beaches and has a pool and lovely garden to enjoy. Staff are very helpful but most of all friendly and welcoming.
