Really amazing place and great staff. Bit of new renovations going on. But its gonna look even better. A good place to lay your bag down while in colombo.

Good budget option for short stays. I came with for friends for a business meeting and booked the quadruple room for Rs. 7600 through Agoda. The room was clean and there was a double bed and one bunk bed. The room had an attached toilet and was clean and had enough room for light travelling (baggages). The place has free coffee and tea and the room price includes breakfast. Highly recommend.

Our few days stay at the ClockInn was about perfect. From our arrival to check-out everything was great. I was especially impressed with the hotel staff. Front desk, housekeeping, valet and restaurant personnel all made such a great impression in their effort to make us feel welcomed.

The Clockinn, the Stuff is friendly, the bathroom at the moment is not that clean. We had bedbugs in our room but the stuff was friendly and gave us another room free of charge and solved the problem. All in all it's a very cozy and modern place which brings travellers together. The breakfast is included and they always make fresh eggs. You can decide if boiled or fried. You want an omlete? No problem. The stuff is acvomodating. If you come a little bit to late you still get your breakfast. We enjoyed the clockinn very much and we will always choose them. Go there and form your own opinion ;)

Don't be put off by the atrocious external appearance. Comfortable and reasonably quiet if you get one of the rooms on the floor above reception where the traffic noise is diminished and the bathrooms are better. Turn down room 001 if you have a choice: it's like sleeping in reception. Some guests might find the staff too laid-back, but they're quick to help when you ask. Airport transfer service is efficient and reasonably priced. Places to eat nearby are scarce in the evening. Not all tuk tuk drivers know where Clock Inn is, especially if you're coming from Fort or further afield. Be prepared to navigate for them.

Great place to stay in Colombo downtown. Everything is close by. Clean. There is hot water and good breakfasts. The staff is very cool!

Great place to stay. Super friendly staff doesn't matter you are local or foreign. Close to Heart of Colombo and very close to beaches. It can be full, so last minute booking is not recommended.

A beautiful hotel cum backpackers Lodge in the heart of Colombo. This is a beautiful three star place offering both dormitory and private accommodation for travellers. It also has a common lounge area to meet fellow travellers. Breakfast is a spread of eggs, bread, milk coffee and tea. Wi-Fi speed is however slightly disappointing and gets disconnected every five to ten Mins. However definitely a good hotel which you can go for.

Great place to stay. Can get full, so book ahead. Great air-conditioned dorms and nice breakfast. Very clean and super helpful staff. Close to shops and the beach, as well as the bus stop. Definitely recommend.

The stadium is pretty grand, there is no museum though, it's difficult to get in when no match is going on, but you might be able to talk your way in to one of the stands, definitely worth it if you love cricket…

OK, place but needs improvement. Friendly staff. Upon arrival the safe was broken and not even attached to the wall. They changed our room to another one with broken safe (issue solved with mechanical key). Clean but not that much. Free coffe and tee at the reception.

Best budget dorms in Colombo and a reliable chain of them all over the island. Has a nice breakfast nook which is their social space everybody comes out to.

After going through several hotels online we chose Clock Inn for our short stay in Colombo. Location of this hotel is excellent. It’s very easy to get transportation from here. Employees of this hotel are very friendly. We took suggestions for our day out plans in Colombo. The room was very basic. There was no wow factor in the room. However, everything was so clean and well maintained. As this is a budget hotel we should not expect more. Despite being termed as the budget hotel their room rate is not competitive with other budget hotels. They charge little bit high price in the budget hotel segment.

Its located in the heart of the city, all the restaurent, shopping malls and attractions are close by within walking distance. Clean, professional, trendy and a good value of money.

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay here in sri lanka, you have to try this one. Clock inn hotel is a very nice and good hotel here, rooms are very affordable people's are friendly, so clean, I love the breakfast here simple but terrible, and it is free. Much happy to stay.

Hostel is new and stylish :) Rooms, beds and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was included in the price and every morning there was plenty of food you could take. I have nothing bad to say about this place and recomend it.

Nice bed for budget trip. Cannot ask for more with the price. Only one thing, the Wi-fi is not working good all the time.

Decently clean hostel. Good to meet up with a travel crowd. Air con works great, not super noisy, nice bathroom facilities (shared women/men). The location is amazing, close to the train and off the main road for a bus ride along the strip. Breakfast consisted of fruits, bread, they have someone cook your eggs, and a choice of coffee/tea.

Clean, good rooms, poor service. We booked a taxi at the reception to go to the airport, but the booking was apparently not done by the person in charge. As a result, we left 45' later than planned and we were lucky to catch our flight.

Everywhere else I have stayed in Sri Lanka has been a total shock and dissapointment. I arrived last night after a long day's travel and was greeted by totally capable, helpful and super friendly guys. When I got to my room, it was really clean, cosy and more than I expected. Its great value for money, the best I have had so far. Its been such a treat staying here. Thank you.

Have been here since 22December. Excellent stay. Rooms are very clean, friendly staff. Wifi speed is very good. You can't ask for more for what we are paying for the room. I can't say anything about the dorms.

Internet is very bad. Dorms are okay but need improvement! Very costly but staff is good.
